He stretches his legs out in front of him, and leans back in the chair. Much of the reunion has cleared out by now, but several people are still mingling at tables here and there. Charley notices that the football team has gone.

so many people are dead and so many of them should’ve kissed and I’m more devastated over one of those facts than the other.

School Spirits season 2 spoilers

Even though im DEVASTATED about Maddie not being with the ghosts anymore i AM holding out hope that she can see them still like xavier sees the hospital ghosts

my reasoning is

1. she was out of her body for SO long so maybe thats why she can see them

2. maybe since no spirit was in her body for an extended period of time (in the last episode) that allows her to see them

3. she developed SUCH a strong bond with the ghosts so maybe thats why she can them

also we dont know if mr. anderson can also see them but i would wager not since it wasnt very long that he was out of his body.

I very much like the idea that dying somewhere gives you the ability to see the ghosts in that location

PLUS i am SO EXCITED to see happy maddie bc yes she was live laugh loving life with the ghosts but she was still struggling bc of everything going on. my girl deserves to enjoy LIFE

yuri being an artsy, asthmatic, stoner who ignored all the ghosts except for an occasional chat w janet for 40 years and only stopped pretending to loop bc he thought a guy was cute is the REALEST thing

To help me get back into writing my big works, what xavier x Simon short fic do you want?

Btw the ghosts would be alive in either option!

I haven't written fanfiction in years but school spirits are making me want to write one where the ghosts are alive and the alive kids are the ghosts, so an reversed au!

Simon would the role of Maddie's place or something like that.

But like the others have different deaths and time periods when they die!

And I do want to add Simon x Xavier (as it is a savier fanfic)

yuri and Quinn are alive as well because I also want Charley x yuri and Rhonda x Quinn, and of course Wally x Maddie!

My idea is that it's the school spirits plot but my own creative with it and to have my favorite ships!

My questions for everyone is

One: what time period do you think Xavier, Nicole and Claire die in? what time would they fit into? I want them different like the original ghosts! (This one is done and figured out!)

Two: how do you want some of their relationships to grow?

Please feel free to ask questions about my fic, it'll help me come up with more plot for it!

Although School Spirits is rated as TV-M, it isn't too graphic or dark in certain aspects (except for the obvious death/murder). It's considered a supernatural teen drama, but can you imagine if there was a darker aspect to the spirits' deaths? the little things from each of their deaths that linger with them in limbo?

On the rare occasions when Wally's quiet, people can hear the sound of bone grinding against bone when he swivels his head.

Sometimes Charley speaks with a rasp, his voice laced with a wheeze like he can't really breathe.

Rhonda will occasionally bleed from her head, the fabric of her hat dented and matted with a dark spot. Don't stand too close, you might see the bruising underneath her turtleneck that eerily looks like a hand.

The smell of smoke, singed hair, and skin linger around Mr. Martin and Janet. There are times when they don't speak much, their throat itchy and tired from coughing due to smoke inhalation. Blink and you might miss the pink rashes and blisters that appear on their skin.

Periodically, Quinn and the band kids have road-rashed band uniforms, their instruments bent/dented, and shards of glass embedded in their skin and clothes.

This one's more lighthearted: The sound and faint feeling of buzzing grow the closer you stand next to Dawn. If given the chance, she can shock the other ghosts by poking them; she giggles when they flinch.

Will revisit when Yuri's death is revealed :(

I drew Charley and Yuri for the fist time and the did not come out that bad (they could be better but I think they look alright)

Hello there! I am in the process of starting a School Spirits Human AU Discord Roleplay server. This will be an 18+ only server. All characters par Maddie and Rhonda are available! This human au will involve all the shows characters alive, meaning the school ghosts are alive also. In the AU, all characters, or smaller groups of characters, share an apartment together and all are highschool age.

This server with revolve around mostly groupchats/texting roleplays but will include threads if needed. I hope to create a fun and community feel type roleplay!!

By making all the ghost characters alive, I hope to put a different spin on the show, by creating opportunities for the ghost characters to have friendships with alive characters etc!!

School Spirits Episode 8 Thoughts

This is sooo long and in no particular order but I NEED to talk about this show with someone i’m going feral.

1) okay If you told me last season that Xavier would be one of my favorite characters I would’ve laughed in your face. But the way he just waved at Maddie’s dad at the end and was like “oh yeah btw I met your dead dad” was absolutely king behavior. He’s so dumb and I love him.

2) I am really hoping Wally did not cross over?? He said in season one he didn’t want to go like Dawn and he wanted a chance to say goodbye. I can’t give up the ghosts found family yet.

3) I NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS SO DANGEROUS ABOUT THIS SCHOOL. WHY WERE THE LIGHTS RED!??! WHAT IS MR. MARTIN SO AFRAID OF!?!! I love a good mystery and I feel like I have nothing to go off of on this. Please share any theories. Like yes, Mr. Martin, I am and have been wondering why so many people die at this school for two whole seasons! Please tell me!

4) I feel like Simon and Maddie will kinda switch places in season 3? I’m guessing Maddie will be able to Simon, and Simon is stuck in the ghost world (for some reason?) so…

5) I feel like we have escaped the possibility of ahh of the new ghosts betraying the gang, but @/amphibiafanatic on TikTok brought up the point that Quinn is not one of the band kids named in season 1. I was rewatching with a friend yesterday and also thought it was weird, but didn’t think anything of it until they mentioned that Yuri was mentioned in S1 so they obviously had plans for these characters, and why not just make Quinn’s name one of the mentioned kids?

6) I think this is a pretty common idea, but I really don’t think the exit doors lead to the ghosts truly crossing over. If there really is something wrong with this school, these exits doors seem fairly suspicious.

7) The boxes with the clues that were sent to the influences had a note saying there was one final box. My fingers are crossed that it’s a box announcing a season 3? They seem to have been pretty public about how successful this season was, and awesomenessTV seems pretty involved with all the press release and cast posts for them not to renew it?

8) Charley still has no last name. 🥲

9) Janet. Oh Janet. I love you so.

10) we’re not gonna talk about the mess I was when Maddie was saying goodbye. I can’t do goodbyes. I’ve never made it through a found family goodbye without sobbing my eyes out. This one was sooo rough for me gang.

Anyways, I really enjoyed the finale although I really wish we wrapped up a little bit more. I know the point of this season was for Maddy to get her body back, which was accomplished, but I feel like I have a lot more questions than I did at the end of season one!

When I first watched School Spirits (about a week before season 2 came out) I went on ao3 after I finished and my jaw dropped when I saw less than 100 fics TOTAL. I was so confused because after being in fandoms like JATP and Dead Boy Detectives that have thousands but got cancelled after one season I was like “surely this show with a confirmed second season should have lots of fandom surrounding it!” and THEN I found out that 3/4 of those 95 fics were reader x Wally and I have absolutely nothing against x readers I just don’t read them. I was just so dumbfounded by this and I don’t know why and I needed to break my silence on it. Anyways I need more angsty fics and fics about the ghosts being best friends.

I desperately want to know if any of the ghosts have siblings. I know Janet had a brother, but are Rhonda, Wally, Charley, Dawn, Quinn, and Yuri all only children? Idk what I would do with that information, I just think it’s even sadder if they left a sibling behind 🥲
