The way my religious trauma is making me feral for this series and this imagery. But I think you could also argue Alecto as Lilith??? It doesn’t fit the holy trinity as nicely, but it makes sense. And Harrow as St. Cathrine, who claimed to have married Jesus, and probably suffered hallucinations.

No but really like...

John is God the Father. Gideon is God the Son Daughter. Alecto is God the Holy Spirit Corpse.

Harrow, devout and devoted nunlet, is an avatar of the Church.

The Holy Spirit moves and works through her as Nona.

And Christ's bride is the Church.
