Spring with the burn of the Sun that gets lost in the wintry winds of the shade, the bloom of a million flowers from the cracked earth of the desolate days of the past, the renewal of life and spirit, the wandering feet changing paths enchanted by the bounty of nature, the hope that germinates from the ruins of past, the crunch of fallen yellow leaves beneath my boots, the green of budding leaves that dominate the pupil of the eye, the time for choosing between cold coffee (probable cold and cough) and hot lemon tea (probable burn of the throat), the joys of laying on the lawn with grass sticking to hoddies that would bid farewell soon (unless you're weird enough to wear 'em in summer cause HOODIES duh), the lazy lay in sun cause cats do have a lot in common with humans...
Somedays i love the sunsets, somedays the Sunflowers and most days, both.

usually i hate deleting posts especially if its art but i think the final piece i made with this study undermined what i learned bc it was so jank yknow. so just gonna pose the individual pieces that created it bc these are what im actually proud of :)

My boyfriend and I were downtown and he saw fresh sunflowers, which is his best friend’s favorite flower, and he not only bought one for him but had me drive him to his best friends house so he could surprise him with it and I just think this is the type of male friendship that should be normalized

Recently went to a sunflower field near where I live and took some pics. And tbh, it was really cool. There was at least 2 acres of sunflowers. I was just blown away by how many there were. I recommend visiting it if u have time. It’s in Marion, PA. (Just if ur curious)

i miss our stupid conversations. i miss laughing with you. i miss sitting next to you, the silence being one of the most comfortable things ever. i miss telling you about my day. i miss asking you your day. i miss being able to message you whenever i did something dumb. i miss being able to approach you when something stupid happened. i miss ranting to you. i miss sending you stupid memes and you never laughing at them. i miss your motivational speeches.

Were the words that he told me the moment I asked him what he adores the most. It took me a while to make his vision my reality and I am so happy how it turned out.
I know his admiration and love for Vincent Van Gogh, and how he collects every little piece that he finds that resonates with the artist. Because of his biased nature for Vincent’s aesthetics and of course his love for lilies, I crocheted Starry Night themed lily bouquet for him, with two sunflowers that resonates the moon and frame of the painting.
I know he will love this more than anything and I hope to make him smile just the way he will when see these flowers I made for him.
