Haven’t even watched the stream yet but I’ve been reading the tags and it feels like my heart’s been ripped out.

Rise of the Titans przypomina mi plac zabaw czy karuzelę. Najważniejsze jest, by się dobrze bawić na przejażdżkę. Wszystko co się dzieje ma być cool. Dzieje się dlatego, że jest cool. Nawet postacie które obserwujemy tak uważają. Film bardzo mi przypomina o innych dziełach, jak Spy Kids albo nawet We Could Be Heroes.

Z tym podejściem jest jednak wiele problemów.

Po pierwsze, nikt nie podszedł do tego filmu z taką myślą. Całość stara się być dramatyczna i poważna. Stara się poruszać ważne wątki. Ten film się stara.

I wszyscy oczekują, żeby się starał, bo to jest Trollhunters. Seria, która dostała nagrody, która ma reputację, która zaczęła to wszystko. To nie jest tylko jakiś spin-off.

No i na koniec. Ta seria zaczęła się w 2016. Pięć lat temu. Nie możesz kierować czegoś z taką historią tylko do dzieci, a nawet głównie do dzieci. Musisz to zrobić "dla wszystkich". To musi być coś, co widzowie dorastający z serią będą w stanie z zadowoleniem oglądać.

Przez to wszystko, karuzela wygląda jak dom, który się rozpadł. Pojawiają się kompletnie bezużyteczne wątki, postacie znikają, a niektóre wydarzenia przestają mieć wagę. Zaczynasz zadawać sobie pytania, których nie powinieneś.

Niestety, nie byłam w stanie wyłączyć myślenia na tyle, by się na tym filmie bawić. Wyglądał prześlicznie. Sceny walki były zrobione przepięknie, i gdy ktoś jest w stanie się choćby na chwilę zagubić w świecie przestawionym i nie zadawać niepotrzebnych pytań, to mógłby się na tym filmie dobrze bawić... Jeśli wyłączy, kiedy zegar pokazuje 15 minut do końca.

Bo zakończenie psuje jakiekolwiek pozytywne wrażenia można mieć z tego filmu. To coś, czego nie da się moim zdaniem zignorować. To, że nie ma absolutnie żadnego sensu, niszczy cały dramatyzm filmu i pokazuje środkowy palec wszystkiemu co nam powiedziano nie tylko w Wizards, ale także w Trollhunters, serii, do której to ma być ostateczne podsumowanie, to tylko czubek góry lodowej problemów. To najgorszy pomysł jaki się przytrafił temu filmowi i powinien zostać wśród fanfików. Nic nie jest w stanie go uratować.

Kilka słów o Ataku Tytanów

Kiedy dowiedziałam się, że finał SnK przechodzi do innego studia bardzo się bałam. Zazwyczaj po czymś takim seria nie kończy dobrze (One Punch Man, Nanatsu no Taizai), a grafika (i śliczna animacja manewru trójwymiarowego) to dla mnie zawsze była największa przewaga jaką anime miało nad mangą. (nie, serio, przerwałam czytanie mangi bo nie mogłam patrzeć na obrazki) To było jedno z pierwszych anime jakie w życiu widziałam, więc bardzo, bardzo mi zależało, żeby finałowy sezon się jakoś trzymał.

No i się trzyma nawet nieźle. Opening jest… dziwny. Pasuje klimatem i wygląda prześlicznie, ale tęsknię odrobinę za Linked Horizon (ale tak samo na początku było z Red Swan, więc może po prostu muszę się przyzwyczaić). Animacja… nie jest gorsza? Jak mówiłam, nie zauważam jeszcze takich rzeczy, o ile nie są zrobione źle. Ale same rysunki są równie śliczne co w poprzednich sezonach i są w stanie wzbudzić we mnie te same emocje. Czyli finałowy sezon robi coś co przerosło mangę, chociaż mogliby być odrobinę bardziej subtelni z nawiązywaniem do n

Teraz największą obawą jest kwestia fabularna, a przez spoilery już zaczynam tracić nadzieję, że cokolwiek z tego będzie się trzymało kupy, ale w tym nie ma aż tyle winy studia. Jeśli mam dostać bajzel bez sensu, to przynajmniej będzie ładnie zanimowany.

I just finished The Queen Of Nothing..

I already miss them so much.

It was a wonderful series that I read faster then I have any story in a long time. I read Cruel Prince immediately and waited for Queen Of Nothing to come out so I could read Wicked King and Queen of Nothing back to back.

Jude was a charcter unlike any other that I have read before. Her and Cardan’s relationship make me laugh, smile, and cry many times.

Reading those books kinda felt like going on a rollercoaster ride. So many ups and downs, schemes, and betrayals. I don’t know if I will enjoy a book as much ever agian.

Props to Holly Black for writing a great series and one that I will reread many times over. I know I will miss these charcters deeply.

I just saw Avatar: the Way of Water and when I tell you it had me SOBBING omfg like tears were streaming down my fucking face in the theater. SUPER recommend it, 10 out of mf 10 y’all. It was a pretty badass movie altogether and I’m going to sleep when I get home so I don’t cry some more 😭

IT'S GOOD!!!

Take it from me who's played 9.5 hours of it on Steam! Not for everyone, certainly not from the pricetag, but it's SO FUN!!!

I even set all the speed settings to full (which affects the plattforming a lot less than I thought it would honestly,) and it feels GREAT! It feels FAST! Combine that with the full-rings boost and infinite boost? SPEED INCARNATE!!!

And I don't think I need to say it, but the music is amazing!

9.5 hours into the game and I say it's a clear 10/10 in fun factor so far! Highly recomend it for speedsters and speed-demons!

After seeing the promos and commercials of Avengers Endgame movie, I became excited, anxious and frightened at the same time. And those damn spoilers before the movie comes out on April 26 are causing us to get paranoid and emotional in any sort of way and I don’t like it one bit. To those who wanna spoil the movie that caused us to get in our feelings, just don’t.

While not getting my hopes up on Romanogers being canon in the movie, I want Romanogers to be canon because of what happened on Thundercats 2011 and Voltron Legendary Defender because of what happened on that dreaded season 8. Lion-O didn’t end up with Cheetara and Keith and Princess Allura didn’t end up together when she died. So that’s two strikes for me. If Romanogers isn’t canon in the end of the movie, then it’s strike 3 for me. Which means that I’ll admit defeat as a Romanogers shipper. So see y’all when the movie comes out. Peace!
