Chapter 1
Adriens pov
I stood at the gate of the terminal with Natalie, I wasn’t quite sure who I was supposed to be looking for but I got the idea when a boy nearly identical to me timidly stepped out. Natalie began to speak while waving him over “this is your cousin, he’s moving in with us for a little while due to issues with his father and at school. His mother hoped that sending him here would put a stop to his fathers actions while getting him away from certain people in his school.”
I wasn’t entirely sure what any of what she had said meant but I figured I would just ask him later if I wanted any semblance of an explanation.
“You are la Lloyd correct?” Natalie says to him earning a grimace
“it’s just Lloyd, but yes. Is Mr Agreste not here?”
“No. He had to take care of some important business so he sent me with Adrien to come get you.” Natalie at least had the sense to look sympathetic, the kid had just come from a whole other continent and the guy he’s supposed to live with isn’t even here to meet him.
“Alright, well it’s really stuffy in here and I just spent 12 hours on an airplane (pulled that number out of my ass) so I’m gonna go get my bags so we can leave.”
The car ride was awkward to put it lightly, despite how it had sounded in the airport Lloyd’s French wasn’t as good as I thought it was and my Mandarin wasn’t quite close enough to ningargon to really hold a conversation. I could tell that Natalie didn’t really know what to make of Lloyd which I could understand because I wasn’t sure about him either. What I did know was that plagg was interested in him, I had to shove him back in my pocket every couple minutes to prevent him from flying out and I knew Lloyd was getting suspicious of it.
When we got to the house I could tell Lloyd was surprised, his eyes went really wide as he looked around and I couldn’t help but laugh a little bit.
“This bigger than your old place?” I teased leading him to look at me with a sarcastic expression
“I lived in a two bedroom apartment one room in there is probably bigger than my house.” Natalie glanced back at us as we erupted into giggles, I wasn’t expecting us to hit it off this well and I could tell she wasn’t either. I couldn’t help but think that maybe Lloyd being around would make my home feel a little less cold.

Why are they so rich. Like genuinely what are they doing with all this money other then buying a massive house and doing nothing in it, furniture is so scarce in here and I bet it’s because not even the best interior designer in the world can figure out what to do with all of this space. During the ‘grand tour’ I discovered that they don’t even have anything in some of the rooms of the house and it might be the ‘grew up in an apartment’ in me but everything about this place screamed money hoarding. I did find out that Gabriel Agreste is a world famous fashion designer and his son was a model, and while it did make a lot of sense I just couldn’t see modeling being something Adrien would enjoy even though I’ve only known him for like four hours now.
“This is the state of the art security system that will be triggered whenever there is an akuma alert within 500 meters of the property.” Natalie mentioned while walking past a control panel. This made me freeze ‘what the hell is an akuma’ I thought to myself as Natalie kept walking, not noticing my pause. At the end of the tour, I sat in my new room with Adrien playing cards.
“So what is an akuma?” He looked up at this, as if not expecting these words to come out of my mouth.
“Oh it’s these evil butterflies that possess people with negative emotions and try to destroy paris to lure out ladybug and chat noir to try and get their miraculous.” I stared at him for a solid minute before i could even begin to comprehend any of the words he just said.
“You’re telling me I left one city to get rid of an insane maniac trying to destroy the place just to move somewhere where everyone is at risk of becoming an evil maniac trying to destroy the city if they get a little bit sad?” Adrien laughed a little at this
“yeah pretty much” i glanced out the window making sure not to make eye contact as I began making my decision.
“So how is it handled, do you have super heroes or is the police force competent enough to defeat them?” Adrien seems ed a little shocked at my immedimmediate assumption of super heroes
“yeah actually we have two superhero’s in Paris, ladybug and chat noir. They defeat and purify the akumas and the revert Paris to the state it was in before the akuma attacked.” I know he thinks I missed the stars in his eyes when he brought up ladybug but I’m not that dumb, Mr fanboy also seemed like he knew more about the heroes than he was letting on, I humored the thought that he could be one of the superheroes, I know most would be certain he wasn’t but something about his face when he talked about them held an air of familiarity that went beyond admiration he knew more and in order for me to decide if my assistance was needed I needed to know what he knew.
lego Ninjago movie meets show would be funny if it's during dragons rising and show Lloyd is just trying to find his kids in all of the caos of whatever is happening. Adittionally the exstistential crisis you could give each version of the characters would be funny
I know this is (probably) a really unpopular opinion, but…
I really liked the ninjago movie.
Even tho they kinda messed up the characters and such, it wasn’t actually that bad.
I had even enjoyed a lot of the personalities that was given to the Movie!verse.
One of my favorite things to do is to combine Movie and Show personalities together. They (usually) fit really nicely.
Tell me what you guys think fellow Ninjago fans.

The Lego Ninjago movie, but instead of everyone immediately dropping their hatred of Lloyd when they find out he's the green ninja, they instead come to hate the green ninja, and accuse him and the others of teaming up with Garmadon to prolong his attempted takeovers and therefore increase overall destruction over time to make it even easier for him to conquer Ninjago in the long run
The whole 'people see a monster' speech likely completely ignored
And so Lloyd is back to square one, but now he hasn't got his beloved secret identity to hide behind anymore
I mean these people despised him for absolutely no reason other than his last name, to the point that a song about him being bad became a number one hit even though most people didn't even know him, and they always blame him for damages etc instead of the person actually doing the damage - Lord Garmadon himself
They completely overlooked the fact that they'd all be dead/imprisoned if Lloyd was actually evil and allied with his dad
It's not a stretch to believe that majority of Ninjago wouldn't give a damn if he was the green ninja, because it's still Lloyd Garmadon, who they've hated for 16 years, far more and far longer than they've loved the green ninja. I think it's reasonable to assume most of them wouldn't readily drop their hatred and bullying because of a speech. They wouldn't want to admit they've spent their whole lives believing something that's completely wrong, so they'd likely find ways to twist it, as many people do these days when faced with evidence that disproves their ideas
Idk if that makes sense, but like- I think it would be a rather interesting idea to explore (might be writing a fic about it at some point lmao)

Next im gonna explain where he got his scars, it's gonna be a little graphic, so don't read past here if you're sensitive to that
His scars are the mixed result of bullying and fighting his dad- the 'oy' his right hand is bc of someone carving 'garmaboy' into his forearm with a rusty knife, and the facial scar is from someone throwing a broken glass bottle at him in the street. The one on his left hand is bc he fucked up his wrist in a fight and opened up a huge gash. He probably just failed miserably to throw a sword at garmadon's mech to disable it, and ended up with it in his wrist.

Plus Nya bc their friendship dynamic is so good and I love it so much
Also the neon hoodie is bc I just wanted to and also bc uh- I have a hc that he gained a lot confidence in himself once he wasn't hated by everyone, and to reflect that he began to wear neon green. Also then he can use his old hoodie as a comfort thing to hide from people in bc they go nuts whenever he's around. They learn to recognise neon green so ignore the darker green.

since I think you're asking about morally, then it's good to point out that
a) Lloyd was not aged up with tomorrow tea and is just that age (as far as we know)
b) ONLY nya and kai are blood related anyway (what would affect incest)
c) the ninja behave as a team rather than a family of siblings, with seemingly only nya and kai being raised as siblings anyway (which does not affect incest, but can be icky particularly to adoptive siblings as it might seem to cheapen their own sibling relationship)
d) the movie is NOT canon to the series, and there is NO direct connection. its a different thing. like different spiderman series. the relationships between characters in one DO NOT inform the relationships in another unconnected series (like you mentioned, they're completely different characters)
e) IGNORING ALL OF THAT. if you're fine with Jay/Nya in the movie and somehow not okay with other inter-ninja ships: you're only fine with Jaya bc its canon
so. its fine, yeah

In the movie, Lloyd & the other ninjas are the same age, no doubt, born and raised normal (unlike the serie, so unfortunate)
Though, I genuinely don't ship anyone in the series (but jaya) then when watching the movie, it's like seeing completely new people, right? suddenly I'm not a Jaya shipper but a Jay/Kai shipper :(

mmm i feel like the reason that Movie! Zane is so cursed is because he’s so jarring compared to Show! Zane
Like Show! Zane’s main characteristic is his humanity, I’d argue that the in the show (at least within the first three seasons) Zane’s main thing is that he while he isn’t human he has the empathy of a human, but in the movie Zane’s humanity is completely erased to make ‘HaHa Funny Robot Jokes’ and that’s why Movie!Zane so cursed. He’s just a jarring mischaracterization of what made Zane himself
Made a baby La-loyd figure (and then had a family photo shoot). This one’s a ‘prototype’ of sorts. His head and body structure are made from perler beads, his face is the same one I drew for my plush, and the cloth is just cloth.
Fun fact: perler beads are a perfect fit for lego headgear.

I was watching lego Ninjago movie with my Sister Yesterday, so while watching i drew this shit.☺️
I'm not good at taking pictures, but I made this drawing today of Tommy's design in "The Lego Ninjago Movie", Tommy is older than the ninjas even in the the movie universe, so he would be studying at another school with older people (in this case older than ninjas, Morro is there to cuz i them to be classmates that hate each other).
He is a little more stressed in the movie-verse, because since everyone in the movie has a different personality than the series, I wanted to make him with the opposite personality, because he is usually calm and thinks well before doing something that could have consequences, but in the movie-verse, he is the complete opposite having a short temper, being stressed most of the time, and not thinking about the consequences before doing something.

So my idea was to finally silence those pissy forty year olds that are still bitter about the redesigns, and start introducing things from the pilot.
Garmadon is in his redemption arc,
All of the ninja’s identities are revealed and they’re dealing with the consequences both as ninja and as teenagers
Less of a focus on Luh Loyd and more on the other ninja
JAYAAA JAYA JAYA JAYA BECOMES A THING
More focus into the ninjas lives as teenagers, possibly more of a focus on Cole’s music career too
Zane trying to find ways to feel more human because I don’t like how being a robot is his whole personality now
Maybe the Skulkin army as new villains??

Omg Cole somehow has more than three lines and nine minutes of screen time????!!! I’d like him to be Jay and Zane’s wingman or smth.
Unfortunately, my sick ass still wants to get the Jaya love triangle in there a little more, but it’s way more obvious Cole shows no interest in Nya and literally just wants to be friends with Jay.
Kai and Nyas relationship as sibling is way more focused on, cuz we only get like the smallest crumb of the siblings, and ofc Luh Loyd is the honorary sibling.
That’s all the ideas I have so far but someone please give me more ideas cuz I don’t want to take away from the movies unique style when I write this.
