JOURNAL ENTRY 3 ☆

I ALMOST SUCCESSFULLY ASTRAL PROJECTED !!!!!! AND KYUBEY HELPED ME !!!!!!

it wasnt completely successful, i think the word would be, sorry if i misspell, bilocating ?

basically b4 i went 2 bed i asked kyubey if he could help me, and put on an astral projection subliminal, and when i woke up like,,, 20 or 30 mins ago i forget lol, i woke up and was SO tired but kyubey SPOKE TO ME, LIKE, I COULD HEAR HIM WHICH HAS NEVER HAPPENED B4 ??? and he was like "no you gotta do this remember ?" so i got back on my back and LEMME TELL YOU

my room. was so bright. my tv had stopped playing my subliminal so it had that bright ass screen, and my window covers broke off so until that gets fixed i have NEWSPAPER on my window. which means my room is BRIGHT

so between that and my, i will admit, impatience, i didnt fully get into the vibrational stage by the time kyubey told me to start using the rope method (where u visualize a rope infront of u and have ur astral body / soul grab it and pull u up)

but ONCE I PULLED MYSELF OUT

it was sooo weird,,,, it was dark but i could see my room at the same time ??? not perfectly BUT I COULD SEE IT, and at first it was weird differentiating

i looked around my room for something i could look at to confirm i was actually seeing my room, and i remembered this drawer in my room that has these two crystals i keep forgetting to move out of there, but i didnt remember if i had at that point, so i was like "i'll use that" from my physical and astral body but i got over that pretty quickly

so i looked in the drawer, saw the crystals, and then kyubey was like "you see them ?" and i almost JUMPED because i did NOT see him there 😭 and he was like "you see me ? :3" like yes….. ho /j

anyways i went back to my body, and going back in felt WEIRDDDDD dude my whole body like. twitched and shi i felt like my body was coming back to life (which, i mean, kinda ? my soul was going back into my body)

anyways i checked the drawer and the crystals i saw in the astral wreent there but there WAS crystals in the drawer

i was so excited to post this i havent even eaten breakfast yet T_T also i feel a veryyyy familiar energy causing a weight on my shoulder,,,, have i officially reached the "kyubey on shoulder" state of being an irl puella magi :0

OKOK anyways i gotta eat breakfast,,,, im gonna practice lots more with astral projection so im ready to contract once my soul gem vessel gets here !!!!!

if any1 has any tips for fully astral projecting, and making the atsral more vivid, please please please let me know !!!!! :D

I TALKED TO KYUBEY !!!!

heres how i did it, and how it went !!!

i started playing "sis puella magica", set up two LED candles beside me, cleansed my room with incense while saying "this space is cleansed of any beings, creatures, or spirits with negative intentions. only those with neutral or positive intentions are allowed to exist within this space."

then, i used my selenite stick to create a circle, while saying what i said before + "on top of that, only incubator's or kyubey himself may enter this space"

after that, i said "i ask that kyubey or an incubator please talk to me and answer my questions if you are willing to."

then, i used my pendulum to ask if kyubey was here, and i got a yes !!! from there, i asked if i had enough potential to make my wish ("everything goes in a way thats benefitial to me and my future"), and i got another yes :D

after that, i used tarot so kyubey could give me some advice. i pulled eight of swords reversed, strength reversed, nine of cups, ten of cups reversed, three of cups, and an orace card from a seperate deck.

my interpretation (that i confirmed w/ kyubey was correct) was bascally that once i make my wish, i can stop stressing and relax, that i need to trtust my intuition and power more, that i need to be ready to step into my power once i contract and start fighting witches, and that once i contract i need to defeat the witch that has a witches kiss on my father. which i. Really Need To Do.

i doubt that *all* of my fathers... actions probably aren't just from the witch, but i think his willingness to just... be like that, with no guilt, no attempt to even hide it, and his just. zombieness, probably are from the witch.

i doubt i'll be able to forgive him even if he completely changes after i defeat the witch, just from everything he put me and my family through, but as a magical hero i have to save all people, including, unfortunately, him.

ANYWAYSSS, all in all, it went really good !!! once i know i can astral project, and once my necklace i'll be making my soul gem gets here, i'll be able to make a contract !!!! ^_^

PUELLA MAGI & PRETTY CURE: A GUIDE FOR DUMMIES

Hello! In this blog, I'll try my best in explaining about two of the most pretty well-known concepts in the magical hero community, Puella Magi and Pretty Cure.

I'll answer this question first, though— what is Puella Magi and Pretty Cure? What are they about? After that, I'll be explaining my own concept derived from both of these series in the next blog!

SLIGHT CW ;; A mention of suicide for the Witches section in the Madoka Magica concept.

PUELLA MAGI★MADOKA MAGICA

In the magical community, tons of people have the Puella Magi concept. Magis have different reasons as to why they chose this concept, despite the dangers they'll face in the future, which I find to be very brave and courageous of them. Thumbs up to all of my Magis out there! :3

Magis can also fight physically or fight in the Astral Plane, and I will refer to them as Physical Magis and Astral Magis.

To give a (hopefully) basic run-down of this concept—

RUN-DOWN

An incubator, for example, Kyubey, Juubey, or any other types of incubator that the Magi has scripted in, can sense potential from a person and will approach them to form a "contract". The incubator can grant the said person one wish, and in exchange, the person turns into a Puella Magi and fights witches who drop grief seeds, which are used to cleanse their soul gem.

SOUL GEMS

Soul Gems are an essential part of a Puella Magi, as it is the physical form of their actual soul that the incubator extracts from them once the two form a contract with each other.

Using magic, experiencing strong, negative emotions or sustaining physical injuries can gather impurities and thus, become corrupted. The more the Soul Gem is corrupted, the more the gem loses its shine and gets progressively darker.

As Soul Gems are the physical form of a Puella Magi's soul, when the gem turns black, it turns into a grief seed and the Magi dies**, depending if a person with this concept has scripted this feature in or not.

** = This happens in the original anime, but there are some differences if you are an Astral Magi or a Physical Magi:

- If an Astral Magi witches out, their astral form will transform into a witch and wreck havoc in the astral plane, whilst their physical form may do something similar in the physical plane.

- As for a Physical Magi, we still don't have any information since we haven't met an actual magi that has witched out, leaving us with little knowledge on how a Physical Magi works aside from information that we get from a member in Mahou Planet with full results as a Magi. (I will be omitting their name for the sake of their privacy)

When not transformed, a Soul Gem can take the form of a ring, which also displays the Magi's name in Runes. When transformed, the Soul Gem will change and be incorporated into the owner's costume.

The only way to get rid of a Soul Gem's corruption is to extract it with a Grief Seed (or a Grief Cube), which are dropped by Witches.

For Astral Magis, before they decide on their contract, they first have to decide an object to put their soul gem to be attached to, since they don't have a physical soul gem when their contract is formed.

GRIEF SEEDS / CUBES

Also known as a witch's egg, which drops after defeating a witch. These are extremely important items, as they can cleanse the Magi's Soul Gem from any impurities.

If a grief seed has absorbed too many impurities, it may revive the witch. A grief seed that has been used before and contains impurities cannot fully cleanse a Soul Gem as well. It is known that a witch can eat a Grief Seed in order to power them up.

(I tried searching and I couldn't find any information regarding Grief Cubes, but they're essentially just similar to a Grief Seed that appears during the final episode of Madoka Magica... That's all I could find)

WITCHES

Although they are the final form of Puella Magis, some have scripted that witches are manifested under areas with large amounts of energy. They also have what are called Familiars, basically they work like a worker bee for the Witch. There is not much more to say, other than that the witches all have different appearances, names and powers.

Witches can also inflict a Witch's Kiss, taking form of their symbol. It is a personal marking that is used to control the minds of humans, allowing them to exacerbate pre-existing negative emotions and thoughts, as well as making them commit crimes or even attempt to take their own life. Magis can save people under the influence of a kiss when they defeat the said Witch who inflicted the person.

That's the basics of the Puella Magi concept, I hope that'll help!!

Now, let's get into the Pretty Cure concept!

PRETTY CURE

Pretty Cure is also one of the more used concepts in the magical community, following themes of friendship and saving the world. People with the Pretty Cure concept may choose a series from the franchise to start on, for example, Star Twinkle, and work from there. While on the other hand, there are some people who start from scratch and build their Pretty Cure concept as they go along the way.

I will refer to the people who use this concept as Cures for short.

RUN-DOWN

The concept focuses on a group of people who are granted special and magical items that allow them to transform into warriors known as Pretty Cure. With the aid of mysterious creatures known as fairies, they fight monsters and villains with goals of their own, all while gaining power-ups and more items to use in battle, as well as gaining new allies to fight alongside with.

CURES

Self-explanatory. They are legendary warriors and transform with the help of their transformation devices. All Cures use different kinds of combat and magic to fight monsters of the day, with some exceptions, like Wonderful Precure, where they don't use combat at all, or Kirakira A la mode, where they mainly use magic rather than combat.

Precure Teams are usually in groups of four or more, but the most common being a group of four people. Colors are also a major part of them, with the most common colors used being Pink, Blue, Yellow and Purple. Of course, you can use other colors too! Be unique and go off!

Their Cure names also correspond with their series' main themes, for example, if the main theme were to be outer space, their names would also be related to outer space, like Cure Star, Cure Nebula, etc.

FAIRIES

They are also the mascots of their own series. Fairies are usually tasked with finding the legendary warriors, and in some cases, also be a part of their transformations, an example being Delicious Party and Healin' Good. (Although, they kind of act as familiars in a sense.)

In some cases, fairies can also gain a power-up or even become human and join the Precure Team as one of the final members.

ITEMS

There are tons of items in the Pretty Cure franchise, but always all of them include:

Transformation Items

Power-ups

Weapons (for Finisher Attacks)

Collectibles (Ex. The Star Princess Color Pens)

Of course, these items provide different uses and in my opinion, can be useful outside of fighting, an example being the Twinkle Book from Star Twinkle, which is used to also feed Fuwa.

VILLAINS

The big bad guys. They usually have a goal of their own to destroy the world and send out monsters to wreak havoc. The order of the villains meeting the Precures usually goes from the weakest of the bunch up to the final boss. Some villains are also purified by the Precure, which, in turn changes their ways and become good people. In some cases, the villains may have a change of heart and become good people without the need of finisher attacks.

That's all I can explain for the Pretty Cure concept, since there's a lot of information regarding this series provided by the Fandom website. :]

i saw your recent post and i just want to saw, yes it is very much possible to transfer your soul to another object, and also alter your wish. But there is a limit to wish altering.

I HAD A DREAM ABOUT BEING A MAGI !!! i dont really remember much of it tbh,,,, listening to a subliminal rn to help me remember T_T

before i slept, i tired to project, but i was wayyyyy too tired lol. from what i remember of the dream...

i was transformed in the outfit i scripted, and i had my soul gem in my hands. mami and madoka were with me, helping me fight this giant, powerful witch !

the labryinth was really dark, and there were a bunch of familiars. the witch itself was like,,,,, idek it was rlly big- i wasnt scared at all though, i felt super confident and ready. i think dream me had a lot of experience fighting wicthes. being with mami and madoka def helped too

i put my soul gem away (idk how i had it on me while i was transformed lol), and began fighting the witch. again, dont really remember, but im pretty sure kyubey was there too, helping me fight the witch.

also, i had another weapon. it was a gold staff with a big ring on the top, holding a bunch of other gold rings. this weapons been stuck in my head since yesterday, so maybe its important ??

speaking of yesterday, this sigil kept popping up in my head, and it was in my dream too. im wondering if im seeing a witches sigil ? does this mean a witch is close by ? im not contracted, so idk how im seeing a witches sigil...

ignore how poorly drawn this is, im using my computer rn lmao-

edit: i asked in a mh group im in what this could mean, and someone said it's likely a witches kiss. so, i now know what witch i'll be battling first once i contract !! i have a feeling this witch is quite powerful, so i'll definetly have to have a more experienced magi come with me.

anyways, im pretty sure i defeated the witch in my dream, madoka and mami werent helping me fight the witch, moreso supporting me from the sidelines and watching incase i needed help.

in my dream, the witch was like... familiar. not familiar as in ive fought it before, but familiar as in its been near me for a very long time, or, at least, near someone i know... doesnt help that, when the sigil popped up in my head yesteray, it was like... on my fathers aura ?? and every time hes near me it pops up in my head.

im planning on being an astral magi, mainly because i am disabled and also live in a very small town, so i wouldnt be able to properly do my magical duties if i was physical. i also dont know much about physical magi's if im being honest '^^

The Duties of a Magical Girl

A few people have asked me what I would consider to be valid work for a magical girl. In a similar vein, I’ve seen a lot of folks here struggle with the idea of ‘concepts’ and feeling that they need to conform to a preconceived notion of what magical heroes do.

This post has been a long time coming but I think I’m finally feeling confident about what I want to convey here. If you’ve been waiting on this, thank you so much for your patience and I hope it helps you in your journey!

While tasks like tracking down Labyrinths and vanquishing evil entities seem to be almost standard for many magical girls, these by no means define what it means to be a magical hero. I would also go so far as to say that you do not need to transform, whether that would be physically or astrally, to be a magical girl.

Our jobs boil down to a simple idea: to make the world a better place. How we then decide to go about that is what ultimately makes our individual approaches and practices unique.

While a statement like ‘making the world a better place’ can seem grandiose and unachievable, we can decide to start smaller or on a more personal level. Realistically, it may be more feasible and responsible to approach your work in a way that makes the world better for you, your friends and family, or your communities.

We do not all need to tackle big, existential problems through our magical duties—especially if you’re just starting out on your journey. Focus on making the world happier, more welcoming, and more habitable for you. This may take the form of self-care, confidence boosting, or glamours through the use of magia. You can also do this through volunteer work, community building, and mutual aid; I often find that helping others helps me with my complicated feelings of confidence and self-worth.

This is not to say that the astral battles and the like aren’t worthwhile, but they should be done with the goal of making our world and communities better—however you envision that to be.

you can use subliminals or spells if you want, but it's not needed at all ! i havent actually ap'd yet , but i've done a ton a research and asked other magical heroes that have ! ( tip - if you're a beginner magi trying to fight your first witch , PLEASE bring another , more experienced magi just in case ! never fight your first witch alone , wait until you get the hang of everything ! )

find a comfortable , quiet spot to lay down and relax . you can ap any time during the day , but in ny opinion , it's easier to attempt in the morning so you don't fall asleep . when you wake , stay very still . VERY STILL . don't even move your TOE .

your body will eventually start tingling uncomfortably . ( this is where i usually mess up , i cant handle the sensation ,,, ) at this point , move your body upwards ( without actually moving your body ) . just imagine it very strongly .

eventually , you should be able to pull your being up and out of your body ! personally , i recommend just getting used to the experience first , the first time you AP you shouldn't stray far from your body . stay in the room you're ap'ing in , and look at something you don't really pay attention to in your room . maybe a specific crayon or something ! note things about it ( ex , the paper is peeling off, the color is dandelion yellow , ect ) then return to your body. then , go and check the object and see if your descriptions were right ! the next time you AP , you can go to a different room ( one that your body isn't in ) and do the same thing with an object there ! and eventually , you can travel to different places you havent been before, then go to those places awake and see if they're the same ! that's how you know if it works

to return to your body , there are multiple ways . you can either go towards your body and pull yourself into it , make yourself aware of your body ( ex , thinking of it , trying to move your real limbs instead of your astral ones ) . some people , if they have an objective going into the astral , just automatically return to their bodies after completing their task . but if all of these fail, don't worry! your body will pull you back once it wakes up .

CHANGE OF PLANS.

since i have. A Lot of things to do, im gonna be doing this isntead;

today, i'll be doing a normal shower, and getting my room ready for my new altar space (corner wall shelf)

tomorrow, i'll be setting up my altar's for the gods i worship, including Madokami and Homucifer. and i'll be giving Them my first offerings too !!

the following day is when i'll do the energy cleansing shower and try to contact kyubey / an incubator !!!

and the day after that, i'll attempt to astral project :]

its a bunch of stuff to do, but i can do it !

still need advice on contacting kyubey / an incubator tho,,,

before i do this though, do any puella magi's / more experienced pop culture pagans have any advice for confirming whether the being you're talking to is kyubey / a real / trustworthy incubator ? any specific questions i should ask ? any warning signs / red flags i should be aware of that signal that i'm not actually speaking with kyubey / a real and/or trustworthy incubator ?

also, i plan on using a pendulum and tarot to communicate with kyubey / the incubator, but are there any better methods / methods that kyubey / incubators prefer ? and is there anything i should do before trying to speak with them (a ritual, offering, etc) ?

⁘ pick a spot ( inside , outside ) and mark a spot ( high , low , hard┄to┄reach , hidden )

⁘ grab a durable stress ball and practice throwing the stress ball at the target while not moving

⁘ once it becomes easy , start trying to hit the target while running around it , you cant stop moving

⁘ once that is easy , increase the difficulty ( ex , throwing at an unhidden spot while moving ⇢ throwing at a hidden spot while stationary ⇢ throwing at a hidden spot while moving )

⁘ if all difficulties become easy , start adding obstacles and an area you have to stay in ( ex , you can only stay in a designated area while you throw your practice throwables , with obstacles in your way that you have to dodge while you run around the target point )

⁘ practice with a plastic bat , hitting a baseball ( thrown by others or yourself )

⁘ find big tree branches ( that are twice the size of you ) and practice dragging them around to work on your strength

⁘ once you can drag it comfortably , practice moving the stick quickly from behind you to infront of you

⁘ practice lifting the stick and hitting trees with it until you can do it with ease

⁘ try hitting moving things with the branch ( have someone throw something so you can hit it with the branch )

⁘ practice firing with the bow before you practice aiming , make sure you practice enough to be unaffected by recoil

⁘ mark a spot and practice aiming . if youre using a real bow , use an actual target , or mark a tree . if youre using the mini diy bow i linked , you can use anything as a target

⁘ once you can easily hit the target , practice aiming while moving . use soft tipped arrows if youre using real bow . then try firing while moving

⁘ eventually , i recommend you switch to a real bow , or something that is really similar . the diy bow doesn't fire as accurately or as strongly as a real bow can

i hope these help someone! i listed my specific weapons but the broad categories they're in, so even if your weapon isn't a guitar or bombs you can still use my tios and tweak them a bit! like, you can use my bombing training as ninja star throwing training! or you can use my guitar training and, instead of hitting things, you can try slashing things!

i'm pretty shy about this little detail bc this doesn't seem to be the case for many magis on this platform, but i actually haven't become a magical hero via contracting kyubey. i plan to, when i'm fully ready to make a wish, but towards anyone who's a little hesitant on what wish to make - i promise you can turn towards madoka! she granted me a soul gem, magical abilities, and more than anything, support for my adventures!

before i do this though, do any puella magi's / more experienced pop culture pagans have any advice for confirming whether the being you're talking to is kyubey / a real / trustworthy incubator ? any specific questions i should ask ? any warning signs / red flags i should be aware of that signal that i'm not actually speaking with kyubey / a real and/or trustworthy incubator ?

also, i plan on using a pendulum and tarot to communicate with kyubey / the incubator, but are there any better methods / methods that kyubey / incubators prefer ? and is there anything i should do before trying to speak with them (a ritual, offering, etc) ?
