Where Every Scroll is a New Adventure
here you go ✌️✌️ hope you enjoy it
Hi guys, huge request. Can anyone of you please hypnotize themselves into drawing Romano blowing a kiss with a red face tsundere style. I need it more than oxygen, it can also be half assed. I swear to god I will put that shit in my wallet and frame it in my room.
Giug out
y’all, I love Bésame Mucho, and I love this.
in the garden 🍅 besame mucho
I drew this for Pride Month weeks ago but I wanted to post this here to say JUST a thing:
You see how Grandpa Rome has two curls?
Well, headcanon- he has diphallia
Thanks for reading, you can keep scrolling
I would like to add my contribution with Romano: Tailor
It's kind of funny, because in general human AUs I have a pretty good idea of what most of the Germanics would likely work with.
Prussia & Germany: Car mechanics. (To absolutely no one's surprise). 😂 xD Austria: Strict private music teacher (perhaps for adults? Not sure he'd have the patience for young children messing around). Switzerland: Ranger/forest guard. Also a licensed hunter. (Mainly does protective hunting where's there's no real other choice). Liechtenstein: Tailor/Sewer, and owning her own business.
Norway: Crazy rich Stock Market Master, (but also has an education in Economy Lawyer). Denmark: Electrician. Holy smokes it fits him so well. 😂 xD Sweden: Carpenter, who also dabbles into sewing, glass-blowing, house construction/building and different smithings as hobbies. Ice/Lad/Kugel/Sea: Still in school, but give them time. 😂 xD
Bonus: Hungary: Some kind of lawyer, though not sure what kind. Don't think she'd be the same kind of lawyer as Norway though. Finland: Plumber & licensed hunter. Former military. Is considering switching/educating himself to a forest ranger/nature guide instead. England: Struggling. 😂 Okay, no, I think his dream job would be to become a librarian, but he's currently enjoying his job as one of Liechtenstein's tailors.
.
And then I go look at the rest and be like... "Uh... Would it be too stereotypical if I made Japan a mangaka or working with something related to IT?" , because I don't have a clear idea what everyone else would be working with yet. 😂 xD
I have been out for quite a looong time but HEY! I'm still part of this:D
I guess(?)
PruMano, bitches😎
Primavera, madre vera
Dimmi ancora solo una parola
Sono sola questa sera
Dimmi che l'amore è magia vera
Odio L’estate
So far away from L.A.
Una notte a Napoli~
yk i love this specific Romano that lives in my head rent free + his broad emotional spectrum
yes, am pathetic enough to post old sketches but i like this one. brainwashing you into thinking I can draw emotions: thats not true🫵🏼
…according to which, Romano agreed he’d help kick Austria’s ass, and Prussia guaranteed he’d not back off from the war until Veneciano’s reunited with the rest of Italy.
Now, why Romano, you may ask, if the Risorgimento was initiated more so by the North? Well, in my interpritation, it all started with Sardinia/Piedmont-Sardinia/Savoy, (a separate OC because she deserves it), whilst Romano joined her in 1861, – who had been the Kingdom of Two Sicilies under the Bourbon rule prior, his people voting 98,5% to join. Thus, the Kingdom of Italy was proclaimed in 1861; with Venice still living under Austria’s rule up until 1866.
And it was mailnly upon Romano to be the Kingdom of Italy in the next 5 years. Not that he had ever wanted it.
[As you may have noticed, I got into PruMano and Risorgimento simultaneously, god forbid. And I’m trying not to trail off, but I’ve got a detailed version of the events’ interpretation in my head – what happened to Sardinia? why is it Romano and Veneciano, out of all, specifically, that came to be modern Italy? What about the Papal States? — but more on all that to come🫢]
The last thing I’ll add, is that though I tried to make their uniforms nerdy af accurate, basing Romano’s off Sicilian Regiments’ Chivalry and Prussia’s off high-ranking Prussian commandment on general, this is still a silly anime bois fanart first and foremost lol. Take nothing seriously
Somehow two important days coincided on these dates, and so I decided to simultaneously make sketches on this topic. Still not sure if this is a good idea
If anything, this is on the theme of the day of liberation from fascism in Italy, and the second sketch is on the theme of the tragedy in Chernobyl
Sort of an art dump of my less terrible art.
CANT STOP LISTENING TO PUKAPUKA VACATION!!!!
also forgot my watermark oops
I was thinking of making a week to celebrate all the sibling relations in Hetalia!
You wouldn't be just limited to Canon sibling relations too:
Canon: It's confirmed in canon that they are siblings (Veneziano and Romano; America and Canada; Germany and Prussia, etc)
Historical/Cultural: Interpreting cultural or historical relations as a sibling dynamic (Slovakia, Czechia, and Poland being siblings due to their shared Western Slavic origin; Estonia, Finland, and Hungary being siblings due to their shared Uralic origin; The Germanics; etc)
Fanon: You've seen characters interact with each other and interpret their relationship as sibling like (Such as France claiming to be the big brother of Europe, The Baltics; Germany and Austria, England and America/Canada, etc)
Purely Aesthetics: You've never seen these characters interact in canon but you think it would be cool to see them with a sibling type bond (found family if you will)
*Of course, there is overlap among these four categories
If enough people are interested, I'll create a separate blog, poll for the prompts, and select a week. Please reblog for a wider outreach <3
Thank you so much for reading all this!
I wrote this recently, I hope you all like it. Also the song is from Coco.
It’s not unusual for Feliciano to have nightmares or for his dreams to be just memories he’d rather forget. Lovino knew from the moment Feli stepped foot into his room, in the middle of the night, with silent tears streaming down his face and a downcast look, that the dreams that plagued his fratello this night were memories. He also knew from the way he was fidgeting that those memories were about Holy Rome. Lovino sighed and moved over allowing Feliciano to enter his room and curl up next to him on the bed. When the tears flowed for more then an hour, he knew he had to do more.
“Feli do want want to talk about.” He shook his head so hard that Lovino swore his brains would fly out of his ears.
“Idiota! You’ll make your depressed hangover even worse in the morning if you keep that up!” Poor Feliciano started to tremble and whimper.
I’m the idiota for raising my voice when he’s in this state. Lovino rolled his eyes at himself.
He needed to come up with solution for this problem as quickly as possible, as they needed to be up and out of the house early. He searched through his memories until something finally clicked and he hoped that it might help. He gently started carding his fingers through his fratello’s hair being mindful of the curl. Finally Feliciano started to calm, but the tears continued.
Lovino took a breath and sighed knowing what he had to say.
“Feli do you remember when we were young before that tomato bastard and the jerky ascot guy separated us?” Lovino spat out, then Feli whimpered. He realized his tone had become bitter and irritated. Realizing this he took a moment, sighed and calmed his voice once more.
“Remember when we were bambino’s and we lived with Grandpa Rome?”
Lovino held his breath for a moment hoping Feli would respond. His fratello made the slightest movement of his head. Lovino would not have known if he wasn’t playing with Feli’s hair. He decided to take that as a nod.
“Grandpa Rome would tuck us in every night and sing us a song.” Lovino reminisced. “And if we woke with nightmares he’d rush into comfort us and sing to us until we fell back asleep? I remember waking up a few times and he’d still be holding you and sitting in that rocking chair he made for us.” Lovino prays that these memories will combat the harsh ones going through Feli’s mind and not make it worse. Losing Grandpa Rome was incredibly difficult for Feli in particular. Lovino always had a stiff upper lip so he could protect Feli when possible. He always waited until he was alone to have any kind of breakdown.
Feli glanced up at him with his bloodshot eyes and tear stained face. And softly nodded again.
“Do you remember how it goes?” Feli’s eyes widened a bit, but he still said nothing and proceeded to cast his gaze downward once more.
“I think maybe it started like this.” Knowing full well what the lyrics were. He could never forget. They’re tattooed on his heart. Lovino took a deep breath and started to sing.
Ripensa a me
Non dimenticarlo mai
Lovino already felt Feli’s tremors start to dissipate. One lyric in and Feli was already starting to calm.
Ricordami
Dovunque tu sarai
Feli’s breathing is starting to even out. Lovino hears him sniffle a little bit and then sigh. If Lovino is being honest with himself, this making him emotional as well. He missed Grandpa Rome deeply.
Lo sai che devi fare se
Non sono insieme a te
Ascolta la canzone e tu
Sarai vicino a me
Lovino hears the crack in his own voice. He wonders if Grandpa Rome would be proud of him, for caring for his fratello. He will never know the answer for sure, but he hopes the answer is yes.
Ricordami
Ora devo andare via
He thinks possibly Feli has fallen asleep, but then notices his fingers, very lightly moving on the blanket to the tone of the song, his head still in Lovino’s lap.
Ripensa a me
Sentendo questa melodia
Feli finally looks Lovino in the eye and blinks. The looks as if he almost wants to ask a question but then finds the answer all on his own. His fratello takes a breath and does something that completely shocks him.
Feli started to sing along. Their voices harmonized for the final verse.
Uniremo con le note il cuore e le anime
Il tuo amore rimarrà sempre per me
Lovino freezes for a moment when Feli starts sniffling again, but finally for the first time that night he speaks.
“Grazie, Lovi.” Lovino looks down to see the meekest smile on his fratello’s face. He follows that thought with “I miss him.”
It’s a simple sentence that Lovino has heard countless times come out of his fratello’s mouth. He had to resist rolling his eyes and making a nasty face. He hated that kid for breaking Feli’s heart. Hate is not a strong enough word. He had seething blinding hate for him. He finally sighed because you simply cannot kill those who are already dead. He decided that in that moment Feli needed for Lovino to remain calm.
“I know, fratello.” Feli looked up at him almost surprised that Lovino didn’t give him some other answer.
“It’s Grandpa Rome who I miss the most.” Lovino’s almost stunned at that response. Feli is just not as vocal about it as he is about Holy Rome. Lovino has so many things he want to respond with. Instead he says something simple and reassuring.
“Me too.” Suddenly he felt Feli’s gentle touch on his cheek. He’s brushing away tears that Lovino didn’t know he was shedding.
“I know.” The cheeky bastard has a sly knowing smile on his face. Lovino’s too tired to be dealing with all of this right now. He turns to shut the bedside lamp off. He lay down hoping to get at least a few hours of shut eye before the world meeting in the morning.
“Grazie again Lovi.” He hears his fratello say.
“You speak of this to no one! Especially España or I will have no choice but to kill you. This night never happened!” Lovino screamed/grumbled at his brother. It irritated him to no end when that idiota snickered.
“Sì Lovi. Ti amo.”
“Why is it you must always smell of garlic?” He sighed to himself before whispering in a low voice, “Ti amo fratello.”
And with that he heard Feli start to snore lightly as he himself drifted off to sleep. Both were able to sleep peacefully until morning.
