Where Every Scroll is a New Adventure
“When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”

(* murakami’s descriptions of his protagonists’ day to day lives always seem so mundane and calming to me that I thought I’d list a few activities that fit right in and might calm me, too.)
Sometimes I feel like a caretaker of a museum — a huge, empty museum where no one ever comes, and I’m watching over it for no one but myself.

“We cannot simply sit and stare at our wounds forever. We must stand up and move on to the next action.”

I really find it interesting how authors can describe or express any feelings that I never thought could be described or expressed. I've been feeling like this for a loooong time but I couldn't put it into words.. but the authors, I tell you, they know everything.
I MEAN I WANT THAT KIND OF POWER.
"It's hard to tell the difference between sea and sky, between voyager and sea. Between reality and the workings of the heart."
This is one more piece of advice I have for you: don’t get impatient. Even if things are so tangled up you can’t do anything, don’t get desperate or blow a fuse and start yanking on one particular thread before it’s ready to come undone. You have to realize it’s going to be a long process and that you’ll work on things slowly, one at a time.

I have read 20 books in 2024 and those were the most enjoyable for me. The raven cycle and the starless sea hit me right into my heart and im so happy that i finally picked them after years of thinking!
This part, don't know why but there is something in it. Like the feeling you can't explain but love
Studied physics today and read Norwegian wood by Haruki Murakami. I really like Nagasawa's character a lot.

I was always attracted not by some quantifiable, external beauty, but by something deep down, something absolute. Just as some people have a secret love for rainstorms, earthquakes, or blackouts, I liked that certain, undefinable something.
