You are a gem, a rare find. I’m so lucky to have you

We aren’t perfect, hell, we’re far from it

We misunderstand and we hurt feelings

But, somehow, we’re stronger and more special because of that.

I love all of you, every bit and piece.

I wrote this haiku just looking around my room.

I used Picsart for the first time with this one, and was so intrigued by the eerie nature of this head-less figure that emerged from the haiku prompt, paired with the joyful nature of everything around it.

Happy April! And national poetry month!

I write this haiku about staying up late reading with my roommate.

For the third year in a row, I am writing haikus every day in April! This is my first one from April 1st. I will try to make one of these every day.

The ai app I use to make these just added a watermark which I was a little bummed about. Bahhh the gods of capitalist paywalls have smited me once again!
