Where Every Scroll is a New Adventure
Theorem: Take a circle, the area of this circle is the same as area of a right triangle that has one leg equal to the radius and one leg equal to the circumference of the circle..
A long time ago in a faraway land people led simple lives by the means of agriculture. There was plenty of food to eat and to be merry. They had roofs on their head and fresh river water flowing nearby. Life seemed perfect but it was not. Every year when the rains 🌂 began, the river nearby would flood into the village and destroy their lands and homes. The people in the village would move to a nearby village for shelter with their cattle. When the rain stopped they used to come back and each time they came back they found their place in destruction. Their houses had to be rebuilt and their lands had to be outlined again. Fights were a common scene on how the outline was before the water washed it away. So the concept of the area came to maintain peace.
Finding areas of lands made with straight lines was easy but how to find the area of a land that is a curve ?
Firstly instead of taking a land made up of crazy curves let's take a land made up of the simplest curve, the circle.Draw a circle and fill in its area. Then divide it into large equal parts and arrange them in a rectangle.
It's not yet a perfect rectangle. So divide the circle in parts and try arranging these sections into a rectangle. You'll get a thing that starts looking like rectangle.
Now as you divide the circle more and more and try to arrange those parts you'll get a more nice rectangle. This more and more is nothing but the concept of limits in calculus.
So the area of the circle is the area of the rectangle. The area of the rectangle is Base×Height. Here the height of the rectangle is the radius of the circle and Base is equal to twice the area of the circle. So cut up the rectangle diagonally and you'll get a right-angled triangle with a Base as the radius of the circle and height as the circumference of a circle.
hey! so i'm a british student but you'll see me putting things in brackets to help clarify things for my non british readers. so i did my GCSEs (i think the american equivalent is SATs?) back in may and june and one thing about me during my last year of school is i was in some deep shit. so i didn't really do that well. I got a bunch of 6s (B+s) and7 (A) in eng lit. i found i was couple marks off of a grade 7 (A ) in almost all my subjects including math and science. now i can deal with a B in art and a B in sociology because I'm doing them for A levels ( google tells me the americn equivalent is AP examinations) so doing well in them means that my gcse grade will be dismissed since i did better at A level today i asked my math teacher if there was any way i could resit and he cut me the following deal: if i resat my exams in either november or june of next year and got a better grade then he'd cover the fees and same goes for science. now, i just started sixth form/college so i'd have to learn in my own time somehow. i don't have anyone to teach me and i can't afford tutoring but i was offered to sit in the back of lessons during my free period every tuesday and that afterschool i can ask whatever available teacher for help for anything i really really can't teach myself should i go for it? please interact and tell me what you think.
SOOO IM GONE. - french mock tommorow, i’ll likely do foundation french (which i’m not too bothered about - makes sense since i can barely speak my own language let alone learn another one) je ne suis pas parle francais
- mock exams on the first week of March - that includes every subject, HOPEFULLY, i can do further maths and maths and do them well.
- ENGLISH IS A MESS. i haven’t even STARTED macbeth and i need to cover it in a week and a half in time for the literature mock - holy shit don’t even get me started on english language - story writing can suck a dick, i’d be the sickest damn fantasy author ever to the point i’d boil my spaghetti in JK Rollings tears BUT EDUQAS REQUIREMENTS ARE THE MOST IMAGINATION LIMITING THING - it’s literally like non-magical harry potter went to a public school. - math, math, MATH - so i got dropped from set one recently, but i was given the chance of a two week trial and if i did good i’d move back up, ends in two days so wish me luck! haven’t posted lately due to being real busy but i thought i’d give you all a lil study update until next time Amimi

👋 Hello
It's around 10 pm and I'm not yet sure If I want to sleep in early or just chill around with my phone a little longer .Today I completed the following tasks
Revised Group Theory
Revised stats for 15 minutes
Revised chemistry for minutes
Studied Bayers Strain Theory in chemistry
Complete 10 problems from group theory
Little bit of Duolingo (I'm learning French)
I also submitted my chemistry assignment today
I'm quite happy with how today turned out.In the afternoon I was thinking that I can't get it all done but some I managed so a little proud of myself today.
Tomorrow I'll be starting the Schaum's series for Abstract algebra.I'll not be doing it entirely now.I will just be focusing on the group theory part that is the first 10 chapters.I'm planning on doing 1 chapter a day for the next 10 days.If anyone wants to join me in solving the Schaum's series please let me know, we can do it together and keep each other accountable and help if doubts arise. It'll be just for 10 days so a very short period of time.
That is all that is there in my study part of my life right now.
I hope today treated you well as well😊If not, there is always a tomorrow🐣
Good Night 🌟

Heya, I hope today treated you well 💛
It's almost 10 pm here and I'm getting ready to go to bed.My day didn't really start well.I was panicking for my coming exams lol but it got better after my classes started at 9.The schedule was very hectic today and I was almost out of energy by 3 when the classes finally got over.I had my lunch and practised my French lessons on duolingo.Later in the evening my boyfriend sent me this beautiful video named as Slow life in French countryside and I loved every bit of It😇.Here is the link if anyone wants to watch it.
Later in the evening after having some fruits for snacks I studied the following stuff
Chemistry half a chapter
Group Theory (Quaternions and Matrix Groups)
10 problems on group theory
I also sat and decorated by bujo planner and planned out my next maths course, Linear algebra.
The day started out on a not so high note but it did end well.
Just hoping that everything works out well in the end.I wish the same to you too as well ♡
