we’re out here assuming anakin’s first words to ahsoka after his dramatic “i didn’t expect to see you so soon” would be sad bittersweet sappy and all but he went on and called her “old” oh he’s such a big brother

This episode was sooo relatable in terms of growing up and realizing the bad things that happened to you as a child. Like, when you're a kid and in a bad situation, you don't really realize how bad it was until you get older and understand the world more and then it dawns on you like "oh, this is definitely not how it was supposed to be"

Young Ahsoka was so heartbreaking because, in these scenes, physically she looks like the age she was when she fought in the Clone Wars (13 or 14), but mentally she's like in her 50s and has all the memories and knowledge that her 50-year-old self has. Now, she looks back and realizes that she wasn't trained to fight in a war. The training younglings received was to be peacekeepers. Now, she sees Anakin's lightheartedness and joking nature and, rather than joining in like she once may have done, she's disgusted by it. Now, she sees the pointlessness of the war and how so many people died for nothing. We see a child with the wisdom and understanding of an adult. It pushes the audience to understand more of the tragedy of the Clone Wars and the trauma that Ahsoka carries from it. This was the guilt and anger and sadness she has been carrying for decades.

Seeing this perspective is quite heavy and depressing, but it makes the line "I choose to live" so much more impactful. You can heal from your past and step forward onto a new path and choose to keep living.

People who haven't watched the animated shows are meeting Hera as an exhausted single mom to three rainbow haired Jedi and a murder robot, without any context to how anyone manages to get into that situation. And knowing the context is heartbreaking, but without context it must seem hysterically chaotic

Rexsoka Week 2025, Day 2: Broad-World between Worlds.

This happens in the Ahsoka series. My idea came from: What if it wasn't just Anakin's ghost that brought Ahsoka back to her senses? What if she had a vision of Rex? (We still don't know what happens to her at that moment; if he's still alive, I hope so.)

Expectation: Ezra and Thrawn have become besties after living together on a desolate planet for years.

Reality: Ezra's been living alone for years on a desolate planet hiding from Thrawn with the teenage mutant ninja turtles, cause Thrawn is a petty bitch who can't let shit go.

I'm not a fan of the "Ezra gets a new lightsaber" theories, but I do think if he ever got his hands on an inquisitor's blade, he'd take if apart and make a more chaotic version of the gunsaber

while the “ezra is the inquisitor” theory is interesting, i can’t imagine he would ever pick up one of those spinning lightsabers after seeing all the violent ways inquisitors died because of them in rebels. little mr. street smarts is brighter than that.

I got into star wars last year so I’m still a newbie fan but my favorite characters are Ahsoka Tano and Kanan Jarrus ✨ my best friend showed me the first few movies and my boyfriend showed me the rest ❤️😋 after watching rebels and clone wars I was obsessed.
