💓-She first realises it on a hot summer night, where she was still pulling another all-nighter.

This time though, she had you, a fellow Knight, working with her to finish her duties for the day.

Of course, there were some documents that only Jean could access, so you were doing the other tasks that didn’t necessarily need Jean only. (a/n Margaret get a better grip on your cat)

You had just finished your last non- acting grandmaster- related outside duties of finding Margaret’s cat, but as you were feeling exhausted, you decided to set a timer of 45 minutes before waking up and helping Jean.

Jean stepped into her office after getting more coffee, only to return to you resting on her couch, sitting upright.

“y/n?” No response, only your gentle breathing could be heard.

Jean went back to her table, and continued doing her work, but she could not focus, and ended up staring at you, thinking about how kind you were, for helping her, how cute your sleeping face looked, and how she wanted to kiss you…

She instantly blushed and went back to work, but her mind was running on how her thoughts were like the protagonist's when they meet their love interest.

That’s when she knew she had feelings for you.

💓-Lisa is sharp, she is able to tell quickly that she has such feelings for you.

We all know Lisa is a very flirty person, and as a result probably has many admirers who are interested in her mainly due to her figure.

You were different. Yes, you were also heavily affected by her flirting and all, but not once, have you ever hit on you, or like tried to vie for her attention in an overbearing manner.

Furthermore, you actually love to discuss with Lisa about various topics across the entire Teyvat, so intellectually Lisa is attracted to you already.

It’s when she realises how open and free that she can be around that she realises that she has fallen for you.

She was reflecting on your time together that day, thinking about how you were so different from all the various suitors she has entertained over the years. You didn’t try to wow her with gifts, but gave her something even more important: your time, and your complete attention. And whenever around you, she didn’t have to feel like she was flirting with someone, but being able to be at ease.

When she realises that she wants to always feel like this with you and only you, she’ll know that she has feelings for you.

- So when her S/O finally comes through the front door, Eula smiled.

- The smirk on her mouth indicated she knew where S/O had been to.

(S/O) "I don't know how you can stand the cold of Dragonspine..."

- Eula shrugged as she stood up, placing her cool tea on the table.

(Eula) "Just get dressed and sit down, I'll be right back."

- Eula went into the other room to grab a blanket big enough to fit the two of them.

- When she returned, S/O was sitting nearby the fireplace trying to warm themselves.

- Eula wrapped the blanket around them first before sitting down next to them, resting her head on their shoulder.

(Eula) "Is that better?"

(S/O) "Much, thank you, Eula. I'm comfortable now."

(Eula) "Wrong. You are not."

- Eula's arms hugged S/O and huddled even closer to them, giving a quick kiss on their cheek.

(Eula) "Now you are."

- S/O smiled as the warmth of Eula and the fireplace finally began to melt away the harsh winds of winter.

- Eula kind of wanted to activate her cryo vision to tease them, but she relented. Maybe this one time she'll be nice by warming them up.

It was a simple question. Not one that they were expecting, however, it made their heart soar. On cloud nine, they accepted the hand she held out to them, a smile ever-present on their face.

All it took was a small, "May I have this dance,"

Butterflies fluttered eagerly in their stomach as their fingers intertwined with theit partner's as she led them in a waltz. There was no music. Just the two lovers, twirling within the serenity of the Jade Chamber embracing one another as though their lives depended on it.

Their movements were fluid, however, surprised coursed through them. They were shocked they hadn't stepped on her toes. She chuckled at their demeanour in fondness.

"Nervous? This isn't the first time that we've danced like this." A smile graced her face as she admired them underneath the dim light of her office.

"I know but I don't want to step on you." They looked down at their feet, watching their steps to make sure they didn't dirty her heels

"And if you did?"

"I'd feel bad."

She laughed quietly, pulling them just a touch closer, "How cute."

They flushed, briefly looking up at her. Her serene expression made them flush, but they maintained eye contact. She was radiant. Everything about her was beautiful.

They pulled her hand towards their lips before placing a kiss on her knuckles, "I love you, you know?"

"And I, you."

They smiled at her, nervousness finally dissipating. No longer did they worry about making a misstep, and instead focused on their lover's face. They leaned against her, their head on her shoulder as she continued to lead.

Her heartbeat eased them further, lulling them further into security, as the waltz devolved into gentle swaying This moment was perfect.

If she ever sees you in the city streets while she’s out and about she’ll be sure to pause to greet you or check-in

Sometimes, if you’re finishing up your tasks around town when she pops up out of nowhere she’ll ask for you to come along, she always would say how you always made her more productive

Yanfei’s pace was fast, talking admittedly over her shoulder at her newest client, who was trying their hardest to keep up. She was discussing a lot of different outcomes from their current case, mentioning some places they should visit to help ensure their legal victory. Lost in thought she aimlessly dodging passerby and street vendors while her client fired off stuttered question after question. Only when her deep state of thought broke did she look up and spot you talking to a vendor at a cart, purchasing goods. With a growing smile, she quickly made her way over to your side and startled you with a tight hug. Pressing a kiss to her cheek, you greeted her with a soft “hello”, and passed a pouch of mora to the clerk before grabbing your wrapped goods and taking a few steps away from the stall with Yanfei,

“Now, what do I owe the pleasure?” you asked, a teasing tilt in your tone,

“Nothing really, I was just passing by with a client” she gestured to the jittery woman behind her, “and I saw you, so I thought I would come to say hi!” The joyful tone she always had when talking to you never failed to pull a smile at your cheeks,

“Well, I was finishing up with groceries, woul—”

“—would you like to join me?” You both looked at each other, bursting into a small fit of giggles,

“Sure, let’s go see you work your magic” You two walked off side by side, resuming her previous route while her client still trailed behind,

“Y’know it’s actually not magic. Simply by taking advantage of different legal codes and regulations all sorts of problems within the populous of Liyue can be solved…”

You listened to her drone on about different principles and laws, intertwining your hand with hers and lighting swinging them between the two of you as you walked.

Yanfei can hardly keep herself occupied at home, always itching to go out and explore

You once told her that she’s hunting for problems and that maybe the powers of justice in Liyue could last a day without her, but she just laughed and reminded you about that one time you had jokingly called her the justice powers in Liyue

However, you have found her sat at a desk in your home, head resting on the pages of her book as she soundly slept

With a warm cup of tea held in your hands and a blanket draped over your arm, you made your way into the room she was residing in. Slowly creaking open the door, you saw her hunched over the desk. Shaking your head lightly you quietly spoke up,

“I’ve tried telling you before if you keep reading so much that close in the dark you’ll hurt your eyes—” getting closer to her form, you noticed her deep, slow breathing and relaxed features.

Setting the cup of tea down on the desk, you unfolded the blanket and tucked it over her shoulders. Leaning down and pressing a sweet kiss to her head, you tucked some hair away from her face,

“You’re always working yourself to the bone… I’ll do my best to make sure you take more breaks in the future…” You whispered, fondly watching her lightly twitch in her sleep.

Turning off the desk lamp, the only source illuminating the room, you turned and made your way out. Taking one last glance inside at your sleeping girlfriend, you quietly shut the door behind you. Once you were gone, a small smile spread on Yanfei’s face, a hand pulling the blanket tighter around her.

💓 First realizes it when she was napping with you.

You two had been becoming closer and closer, and more often than not Ganyu was really happy to spend time with you, her close friend outside work! You give her Qingxin, always make sure that she’s not overworking, and she feels comfortable around you to rant about her fears. And you listen to her wholeheartedly.

She feels so lucky to have you.

It’s just another day, both of you taking an afternoon nap. But for once, Ganyu woke up earlier than she used to.

And, well, it seems that your body had fell halfway along your nap, your head now on Ganyu’s lap.

Your gentle snores, the way your face held a never seen before peacefulness, the rise and fall of your chest. All of this was enchanting to Ganyu, and she couldn’t help but imprint this sight in her mind.

All of a sudden, there was this thought that passes through her mind.

“I wanna kiss y/n. And cuddle a lot with y/n.”

AHHAH CUE PANIC. She obviously knows about romance stuff but she’s never felt it till now. A shame that you’re not awake to see her cute blushing face now.

Her blushing face, a reflection of the love for you, that has been just realized. No one has seen this face, except for the sun, the clouds, and the big tree that provides shade for the both of you.

💖 When you carry her to bed

Ganyu overworks we all know that. So just imagine her, working overtime at home on a Friday night, trying to clear her last few documents that need to be signed, checked and cleared.

All while fighting her sleepiness, since she didn’t sleep in the afternoon.

However, as she was about got Qingxin tea for an energy boost, she most definitely did not expect you to sneak up behind her and pick her up, literally.

“Ah, y/n! Put me down, I still have some work to do!”

A smile, a chuckle, and your cheeky tone rang out as you chastised her for working too hard, telling her that she “should really take it easy, besides I need my dose of Ganyu!”

All she could do is to relent to your care, her hands on her face, furiously blushing.

As you cradle her in bed, gently petting her horns, her eyes couldn’t help but slowly close, her eyelids fluttering prettily under the candlelight.

• the person who let you have the last carton of eggs. you were rushing to the supermarket in an absolute frenzy; your mother wanted to make desserts, but you used up the last eggs in the house to complete a stupid ‘rubber egg’ science project of yours.

• it was already late, and the chances of the supermarket actually having anything there at all was very slim, but luck seemed to be in your favour??? lo and behold, right there in the poultry aisle, sits the last box of eggs. you could literally hear angels singing.

• well, your glorious moment was interrupted by a third party picking it up before you could. he was observing them with a critical gaze, and in a slight moment of panic, you were debating whether or not you could win against him in a fist fight.

• but as he gave you a quizzical look at your defeated expression, you opted for the second option: begging.

• it was a pitiful sight, really. you were about to get on your knees and plead at the poor guy just for the eggs. you knew your mother would be angry if you came home with nothing, and you weren’t about to risk a scolding, not today!!

• but instead, he just wordlessly handed the carton to you. no small talk, no need for you to throw your dignity to the side, nothing. it was like he could read your mind. you stood there in awe.

• you swear you could see a hint of a smirk on his face, though.

• the attractive person who was taking care of their sibling at the park. he was helping teucer climb up one of those spider web playground equipment things, and then his shirt rised up a bit and. oh. oh my god. ohhhhhh my god?!?!?

• turns out, he was your neighbour… the hot neighbour that you never noticed until now. you’ve interacted with his little siblings before, but never saw him?? and as you were having a mini crisis on a park bench, his little brother noticed you!

• you were invited to join them with a warm smile from both boys, and your heart almost skipped a beat imagining a domestic scene with the two: childe cooking a meal, while you and teucer sit at a table expectantly. ohh you hopeless romantic… imagining all these scenarios with a boy you’ve just met..

• you got attached way too quickly. you thought that childe believed the same: that you two hit it off, but apparently he didn’t. he gave you his number, but only ever initiated conversation if teucer wanted to meet up with you in the park. (the little boy had grown attached to you!) but it was never for anything else. childe never interacted with your ‘how was your day?’ texts at all.

• next thing you knew, the texts eventually faded into nothingness. you heard from a mutual friend of yours that childe started to date a new girl that moved into town, and that the two can be seen in the nearby park, acting like a sickenly sweet couple as they play tag with childe’s siblings.

• you occasionally walk by the park sometimes, and watch in envy as the girl took up the spot that you once had with the boys. it seemed as if teucer completely forgot about you; he liked the new girl more. and childe… he never once looked your way; he never saw you anything beyond a friend to begin with. childe may have never been yours, but a part of your heart still considered him to be a traitor.
