INKTOBER

Day 21: Rhinoceros. Nova Kachovka.

Not all possible species were here (in the Nova Kachovka's zoo "Kazkova Dibrova"), but it was popular. Now, there are just 300 bodies.

Day 22: Camp.

The solovki special camp was the largest soviet concentration camp. Nowadays, russians have created a lot of concentration camps, where they send Ukrainian POWs and civilians to torture or kill them.

21 century: concentration camps aren't uncommon.

Щасливого місяцю гордости!🌈

Happy Pride Month!🌈

These two are my characters who are happy with each other. The art is in the format of a phone screen. :)

Summer! I hope I will draw more often, although progress in this goal is already visible for me.😄

How are you? Do you have plans for the summer?

💞

It is heartbreaking what just happened in Venezuela with the elections, especially with having to read people's opinions who obviously have never actually listened to Venezuelans or Venezuelans who are not connected to the government.

There were Venezuelans coming back after escaping the country just to vote, people getting rid of their fear to vote, my great-grandmother who needs aid to move went out to vote, all my family back home voted, and people all across the country went out to vote.

Some were not allowed, the military kept them out, and the military closed some voting boots, the law in Venezuela dictates that boots that still have people waiting to vote must wait for all to vote and then close, the law dictates that people are allowed to be on the room while the votes are being counted. None of that happened, boots with nobody waited to close past hour while boots with people were being closed, and people were not allowed in the room even though they were asking and demanding their right to be there.

People are protesting and risking their lives both yesterday and today, because the elections were rigged, and everyone in Venezuela is tired from their bullshit.

Please, please, please, don't say that the Venezuelan people chose Maduro, don't support whatever they say, even if they said they support Palestine, do you really want the support of someone who has destroyed their own country? ignore the needs and wants of their people? force people out of the country because there is no electricity, food, or medicine? I don't care where you fall on the political spectrum, THIS IS WRONG.

As a Venezuelan, I am crying and heartbreak for what just happened.

I dunno how your year started. In Kyiv, it started with the day of mourning for people who died on December 29. It's 29 people last I checked the news, but the count is still rising. Rescue efforts ongoing.

The year started in Dnipro suburbs and in Mykolaiv region with getting bombed by Russians.

The year started in Donetsk region, Avdiivka, with shelling, killing a woman. In hromadas Ocheretyns'ka and Torets'ka - two people were killed by Russian artillery.

In Sumy, the year started with Russian drones killing two people.

In Kherson region, the year started with Russian killing a woman from Veletens'ke. Another person was heavily injured.

In Odesa, a 15-years old teen was killed via Russian drones. Here's a video of one of the apartment buildings that got attacked.

The year started for me reading about a boy in Kharkiv who was killed by Russians mere hours before the New Year.

The year started for me in between of air raids. There's currently one. There are explosions in the city.

For Syria, the year started with 3 people dead because of Russians and Assad forces bombed Darat-Izza, near Aleppo.

I Dunno How Your Year Started. In Kyiv, It Started With The Day Of Mourning For People Who Died On December

I’m so fucking tired.

We shouldn’t be “racist” to Russian. We shouldn’t be “xenophobic” to them. We shouldn’t be russophobic. We should have helped them. We should be more accepting. We must be forgiving. We cannot have a trauma response. We cannot avoid Russian.

We cannot do that and that. Also that.

We must do that and that. Also, that.

We cannot complain. We cannot show our suffering. We are at fault. We must negotiate. We must be silent. We have all deserved. We should have been destroyed. We need to understand. We need to be grateful.

Today I had to publicly defend a Ukrainian 14-year old child simply because he feels uncomfortable to engage with Russian art accounts. Child whose country for most of his life is at war with Russia. Child who spent night sheltering from rockets.

But he doesn’t have a right to be uncomfortable with oppressors.

He is xenophobic.

He is racist.

But Russians that arrived at his posts and started mocking him, are not.

“They are victims of bullying, so it is justified response”

Everyone can have a justified response. Everyone, except us. Because we must be a perfect victim. Or not victim at all? Maybe we are the one that attacked? Maybe we are nazis? There would be always 1001 arguments we do not deserve to be called victims.

World was watching us suffering for centuries. They disarmed us, left us defenceless and then, didn’t even help us a lot until we started screaming. Sometimes I feel that even now, people are still watching at us like at some drama, putting million expectations.

I’m feeling absolutely helpless. Whatever we do, we cannot do. No matter how we react, we should have reacted differently.

We owe everyone everything and no one owes us anything. Wonderful world to live in.

I’m losing motivation. I’m losing hope. I want to scream and cry. But it is also hopeless.

Why us? Why now? Why?

i don't know how to say this but if you see something get called russian culture maybe double check. many people online have no fucking clue how many things they claim as theirs that are simply not. this cultural erasing is a tool of genocide, because when you have no culture, you have no language, you have no nation. please fucking use your brain. i bet you a million dollars you've seen borshch (also spelled borscht) as a russian dish but it is literally one of our national dishes. look up the ems ukaz. the erasure of our culture isn't new so think for a second. did you know dostoyevskyy was ethnically ukrainian? what about gogol? what about ryepin? aivazovskyy was ukrainian with armenian roots. and yet they are all pillars of "russian art". do you get it yet? they ruined our lands, made the best education all russian, gave you rights and respect if you lived as a russian and they succeeded in it. these people are russian to history now, our culture is being erased and only we care

The Main Christmas Tree Of The Country Is Not In Kyiv. The Main Christmas Tree Of The Country Is Right

the main Christmas tree of the country is not in Kyiv. The main Christmas tree of the country is right here. On the destroyed block post on the road to Bakhmut. But as long as it stays here, the one in Kyiv would shine in yellow and blue, not in white, blue and red.
