Where Every Scroll is a New Adventure
gods of chaos, by sexulayeti
So I think 40k is missing there own Gotrek and Felix like a inquistor and there remembrancer getting up to hijinks investigating crimes in an underhive, that leads to them getting in the way of a genestealer cults plans just by accident without realizing there even there
Something I've noticed about Tzeentch and Slaanesh's relationship is that, while all the gods lowkey fear Slaanesh, only Tzeentch has taken actual steps to remove him as a threat. Tzeentch engineered a war between Slaanesh and the joint forces of Khorne and Nurgle (and was later the victim of the same alliance after Slaanesh revealed the Ebon Blade in Tzeentch's vault to Khorne). In Age of Sigmar, it was Tzeentch who looked for, found, and then engineered Slaanesh's disappearance. According to the lore, Nurgle of Khorne been imprisoned where Slaanesh is currently, it would've been wraps for them indefinitely; only Tzeentch and Slaanesh could slip this particular traps, Slaanesh because he's a wiley son of a bitch and Tzeentch because magic chains would naturally not hold the God of Magic.
Tzeentchians have also inconvenienced Slaanesh in two other ways: They've snuck into his realm and cut his hair. They've also engineered a war between him and Nurgle who, as beings who cannot feel pain, are arguably the worse of matchups between the gods.
It seems to me like Tzeentch, unlike the other gods, is actively trying to get rid of Slaanesh. Meanwhile, he simply hates Nurgle or finds baiting Khorne into tantrums funny. Slaanesh is the one he seems to consistently bother and has been described as being "apprehensive" about.
Khorne hates Slaanesh and Nurgle is disgusted by his insolence, but Tzeentch actively finds Slaanesh threatening. They all do, but only Tzeentch consistently tries to do something about it while also not implicating himself.
Tzeentch's goofiest warriors given his goofiest battles
*Mmm* Noice.
A pic for Snikch and Skrolk anthro, with their modern style, love to draw them yes-yes!
Nagash, Supreme Lord of Undeath. Even did a goblin green base!
Old Nagash, my beloved. How I have longed for you and now you are mine.
This unit of orcs seems pretty normal but it has some interesting minis in it! It has the Gamesday exclusive Orc Boss (and snotling), the orc raider minis, some third party command units, and 4 of the push fit orc boys that GW used to sell in between 6th and 8th editions to increase units that ranked in rows of 4 across to 5 across. They did this with chaos warriors and I think some others. The idea was that you could also affordably buy just a few minis to test out your new paint schemes.
Some more trolls properly based! All three flavors! I do have some chaos trolls elsewhere! But for the Orc and Goblin army I have these three kinds and I have more of them coming down the pipeline from that big MTO they did a while back, plus the marauder giant and the orc shaman on wyvern, to get painted up so I’ll have six river trolls, six common trolls and 12 stone trolls plus Ripper Bolgrot from blood bowl. You might notice an interesting troll at the front center of the stone trolls. No, not ripper or the one with the river trolls head, the one with the sword! I have no idea where it’s from but it’s old, has GW design aesthetics all over it including dwarf scalp loin cloth, but it has a slotted base and tab! Wild! Let me know if you know where it’s from!
Some more goblins based!
Ogdruz Swampdigga Da Troll Calla. That a name you only want to say a few times.
This is the new Orc Warboss for the Old World! I had fun painting him, and his naked snotlings.
Enjoy my meme.
I also finished these mangler squigs!
More basing project getting done. Here we have Oglala Khan’s Hobgoblin Wolfboyz and Ghazak Khan, 10 goblin wolf riders with bows and a kitbashed Gitilla da Hunter, 10 skull pass forest goblin spider riders, and Harboth’s Black Mountain Archers regiment of renown!
The Rogue Idol of Gork and Mork!! This one is so much fun to paint! It’s got all these embossed details because it’s supposed to be like a cave painting come to life, but it’s taken the cave with it.
And there they are, all five of my big Orcs and Goblins Forge World units. I have the smaller night goblin and orc warboss kits as well. I’ve show those if you go back and look at my blog!
I’m glad I have all of them properly based now!
The Bonegrinder Giant!! I love this guy, he reminds me of Peter Stormare. This one is called Herman the Hard & Horrible.
The River Troll Hag! I’m really glad people can still buy this mini and the Bonegrinder Giant because they’re really satisfying to paint! Watch me get Mature Contented lol!
The big Forge World Night Goblin units! The Colossal Squig, and the Squig Globba!
I’m glad I got all of my really awesome forge world models, I had a feeling they might be leaving the store for at least a while, I hope they come back because I think new fans would love painting them because they really are fun to paint. I’ll show my other three big ones soon!
More of my basing project. Two Arachnarok spiders, a snorting pump wagon, and six goblin chariots including Grom the Paunch!
And here is Gorfang Rotgut and his unit of 25 classic GW orcs!
Continuing on basing minis while I catch up on YouTube videos. Here’s the 6th edition WHFB Ruglud’s Armoured Orcs. A unit of 20 Marauder Minis (the GW sub company founded by Aly Morrison, Trish Carden and Bryan Ansel) Orcs plus a couple extra command units and Ludruk from the original Ruglud’s Armoured Orcs.

Skarsnik and Gobbla with retinue! 98 goblins including 3 fanatics, plus two squigs makes 100 units.
This can be broken up into multiple units of 20 which is why there are so many command units in there!
Here’s a commission I did for my best friend to have on her desk at work.
The context is that my best friend is a stagehand (union strong!) and people keep bringing in donuts. Trying to be health conscious, she wanted a “motivational sign” but she didn’t want normie bullshit, she wanted orcs declaring a Waaagh against cheap pastries! Or at least a sign to tap if she was feeling passive aggressive.
I’m building up to it, getting ready for my contest entry. But this is someone else’s kitbash. It came in those bags of loose minis and bits I bought off eBay. It was a really good idea so I went for it when I painted it.
Contest season is upon us, time to paint 80’s and 90’s minis to a higher standard in anticipation of going hard on a single mini!
Went for the moon from Soul Eater!
I’ve been properly basing all of my orcs and goblins and some of these paint jobs were done myself as a teenager or in my mid twenties.
Sometimes you need to let the teenage you be part of the you of today that has the big green army like in the warhammer armies books that he always wanted back then. Proudly rank up his paint jobs alongside the minis painted after 20 years more experience.
Include yourself in yourself.
An oldhammer savage orc chieftain I just painted up! I’m super pleased with the pelt!
I just got this big behemoth! Tamurkhan on his Toad Dragon!
