but since there’s people shitting on their relationship, imma just lay something down. y’all want your faves to be happy but then y’all get mad when it’s a romantic relationship, you guys are mad crazy. yeah 13 years is a hefty gap, but remember they’re both adults. heechul is respectful and an understanding man, momo is a strong and well balanced woman. oop another unpopular kpop opinion eek 😬

so today i was laxin you know, i have a few other family members that like and appreciate kpop and it’s pretty dope. we were listening some random mix designed by youtube with a bunch of different songs from a variety of groups. this is what i’ve discovered pls bare with me iss gonna be a long one, merci.

thing numero uno: Jeon Soyeon was overlooked and she has the biggest f*** you out of everyone.

so watching the copious amounts of (g)-idle mvs i’ve come to understand that the homegirl Soyeon did not get the appreciation she deserved on pd101 season 1, bc she was one of the most well rounded trainees in that show but what sucks the most is the fact that people were saying her visuals “weren’t to standard” well first off screw you and i hope her success is enough to shut your beauty standards and unnecessary ass up, second she’s honestly really beautiful i mean i don’t know what’s wrong with her face bc it’s p e r f the way it is. She was really underrated, she literally put a halt on her rapping and badass aesthetic at some point in the show to have the chance to debut, she could hit notes that some of the main vocalists weren’t capable of doing. but damn, they dragged her through the mud. thank god she made a name for herself in the rapping area, a literal stage presence god no tea, no shade, just fax.

thing numero dos: JYP didn’t really motivate or push Lee Chayeon enough.

i saw our dancing queen chayeon pop up a few times and it kinda made me think, chaeyeon is such an amazing performer (well duh otherwise she wouldn’t be an idol) but what confuses me is the fact that JYP didn’t hold that/fight for it. i mean she’s proved herself a lot throughout her youth that she’s capable of doing a lot in terms of performing, i don’t know why she wasn’t able to debut with a group from JYP but her sister was?..?? they’re both incredibly talented don’t get me wrong but i always thought that chaeryeong was the favourite out of the both of them. i feel that there was more support behind chaeryeong than there was for chaeyeon and i don’t know it kinda tugs at my heart, i’m aware that different factors could’ve and most likely have pushed chaeyeon to leave and go to a different company but it feels like JYP just lost interest and faith in her.

thing numero tres: i’m worried about twice, that’s it. that’s the tweet.

if you’ve been living under a r o c k you probably haven’t heard about TWICEs ‘Feel Special’ comeback. well, surprise! it’s my favourite comeback hands down 🚫🧢 the whole aesthetic is beautiful, the girls look absolutely amazing (error: #0936274 visual hole not found #404) and of course the beautifully written lyrics. now, if you’re unaware about why i think this song is perfect it’s because each of the girls share their small part about what they’ve struggled with, what they’ve experienced and how dependant they were on each other. it warms my heart, but something makes me feel uneasy. now, i’m not a hardcore ONCE but i’m telling you, when i look at Sana’s face in the comeback shows i’m sad bc a majority of the time i feel like she looks sad or exhausted, more than the rest. i worry bc that’s what mina was like you know? i miss Mina (get well lovely lovely lady) she was pushed to certain limits which leader her to our situation right now. i’m really hoping Sana is okay and she’s feeling better after the previous long forgotten scandal involving her. i also fear for Jihyo, considering she had a strain during the comeback special. @ JYP please look after your artists, please make sure they’re comfortable and living well considering that they’re making you money 👀

yes, i’m aware that soyeons image didn’t fit with the concept of i.o.i but damn, she was made for stardom. i’m just glad she found it. i’m aware that chaeyeon has been given a chance to show the world what she’s got thanks to iz*one and yes chaeryeong is indeed a talented soul who deserves her debut, they’ve both worked hard and proved themselves. i wish them nothing but success in the future of their careers. i’m aware that JYP is thankful for his artists since they keep the company afloat *cough* except for GOT7 *cough* i just want him and his team to understand that the girls are working incredibly hard but they need to be brought back to earth for some well deserved rest, that goes for all artists really. but uhhh *cough* LOOK AFTER GOT7 TOO YOU COWARDS *cough*

i didn’t really realise that in terms of kpop and their companies they all bring something different to the music industry, i mean lemme explain rq/not really.

JYP: They produce such great dancers in my opinion, not only that but their choreography is amazing and that might be because of Park Jinyoung being such a strong advocate for stretching and dancing because you’ll probably live forever type thing ion know. but i mean groups like STRAY KIDS, their choreography is honestly fresh and different in comparison to other groups from them, TWICE imo they’re so crisp and graceful with their movements, GOT7 their movements are honestly so intricate and it’s really nice to watch mostly their live performances because you can see that their moves are so on point (except for that one time in IDOL ROOM lmfao.) even their junior groups like ITZY or BOY STORY their moves are just 👌🏼

SM: I think they produce some of the greatest vocalists, i mean Wendy’s notes always slap me in the face and i’m always grateful, why? because i was blessed to have heard her voice. the whole of EXO literally have angels stuck in their vocal chords you cannot fight me on this don’t even try, i blast their harmonising live compilation every morning to increase my lifespan by 50 years. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON SHINEE AND HOW INCREDIBLY F-ING TALENTED THEY ARE. GG/SNSD, FX, NCT (give winwin and johnny more lines u cowards) and i’ve only listed some groups with powerful vocalists, y’all ain’t seen nothin yet.

YG: honestly don’t stan the man himself but i stand the talent he’s produced except the whole seungri ordeal, that’s an opinion for another day tbh. but the rappers are obviously prominent from this label mainly bc it’s a hiphop dominant label. i don’t really know what to say about them mainly bc they don’t really help their artists out like BLACKPINK are so good but they barely invest anytime into creating an album with more than like 5 songs on it, i mean yeah some other groups might do that but we want content to t h r i v e off of. also when will TREASURE13 debut?????? i haven’t watched the series but i’ve seen snippets and i’m next level shook, give me the talent. IF IKON COULD MOVE TO PNATION THATD BE GREAT, HEARING ABOUT HANBIN BEING REMOVED FROM THE GROUP SUCKED. i’m not a very huge fan of ikon but sheesh, YG, y’all really messed with the dynamic. you suck. (give us Rosès solo too, you hecks.)

BigHit: i know they aren’t part of the big 3 obvi but i think they deserve a mention not just because of producing both BTS and TXT but also bc you can see the love that radiates from the company. ion know, BH has this way of making me feel like we can trust our faves with them, not only bc of the amount of time they’ve looked after them but the way they lookout for the boys and ensure their safety. by trademarking both fandoms so that neither names get bashed without consequences or how the managers play around with the members (like when V acted like a bear i believe, to one of his managers) it’s just endearing to watch how they aren’t just protected but they feel... secure in a way??? in terms of talent, i think they’re really all-rounders. they have one of the fastest rappers, their stage presence is on, their vocal line is full of variety but they make it work and dancing, well goodluck charlie. nah jk they really go 150% like have you seen JHOPE???

summary: admittedly, it wasn't the best idea to go camping during one of the coldest months of the year, but with the warmth of your girlfriend jeongyeon, a mistake can be easily corrected.

“this was such a bad idea,” you whisper to yourself, except the words barely leave your numb lips, so it sounds more like a set of incomprehensible syllables. 

you’re too cold to care anyway. despite the plethora of blankets wrapped around you and multiple layers of clothing - including jeongyeon’s thick purple hoodie which she so kindly gave up to you - your teeth still chatter uncontrollably. goosebumps rise on your frigid skin, and you can barely feel your fingers as you clutch a steaming mug of tea to your chest.

the tent zips open and jeongyeon’s face pokes in, cheeks and nose flushed red. she shuts the tent behind you as a final line of defence against the unrelenting autumn wind then plops down on the end of the blow-up mattress.

you spot the bowl of marshmallows in her hand and open your mouth to speak, but she holds her hand up in dismissal before any more muffled syllables can escape your lips.

“i know what you’re going to say. don’t even bother.”

“how did you know what i was going to say?” you question whilst she shuffles across the mattress until she’s laying next to you.

she smirks. “i’m telepathic. now open up.”

you grimace, but jeongyeon picks a pink marshmallow out of the bowl and waves it in front of your lips. with a roll of your eyes, you reluctantly open your mouth and allow her to slip the treat in.

“you didn’t have to, jeongyeon,” you say, words now softened by the food rather than the lack of feeling in your lips. the marshmallow is warm and sweet, allowing a new warmth to bloom in your chest. 

jeongyeon groans, “i told you not to bother.” there’s a brief silence as she chews her own marshmallow. “what’s the point in going camping if you don’t get to eat roasted marshmallows?”

“what’s the point of going camping if it’s freezing cold?”

she shrugs, and you take it as a win. you don’t get long to revel in your victory before she stuffs another marshmallow into your mouth, perhaps to shut you up, but that’s okay. you eat and drink in silence, listening to the wind howling outside, just a thin material (and many fluffy blankets) away from battering you with its’ strength.

jeongyeon places the bowl down on the floor when you’re done. she wastes no time in wrapping herself around you, head nuzzled into your neck. her soft breaths tickle your skin, but in a calming sort of way, and you allow your eyes to flutter shut.

“okay, i’ll admit it,” she says after a brief silence, “this was not one of my better ideas.”

“yeah, because you’re notorious for your good ideas. remember when you were convinced that feeding the seagulls one french fry each would get them to leave us alone?”

“don’t remind me. i still hear squawks and flapping wings in my nightmares sometimes,” she whines.

you erupt into a fit of giggles at this. jeongyeon only pouts and exclaims, “i can’t believe you’re laughing at my misfortune!”

“i would’ve laughed when it happened if i wasn’t being chased by ravenous birds. why am i always swept up in your mistakes?”

jeongyeon pouts for real this time. you can’t help but feel bad, and quickly roll onto your side so you can caress her face. “i’m actually quite enjoying this, though.”

“really?”

“yeah, i enjoy being cold. it means i have an excuse to cuddle up to you.”

jeongyeon grins, cheeks blushing even darker than they already were. “you can cuddle up to me whenever.”

“i know, baby.” you lean forward and plant a gentle kiss on her lips. “moral of the story: don’t let jeongyeon make decisions.”

“unless they involve cuddling.”

“yeah, unless they involve cuddling.”
