Here ya go. Just for fun.
*the adventure zone theme song playing as I lay face down in the grass*
The Adventure Zone ending got me in tears
He got down on one knee and was like âI present you with my final duckâ I was already so excited and this was the cherry on top! THE DUCK SMELLS LIKE LAVENDER TOO!!!
The show was, FANTASTIC! The guys were hilarious and everyone there was so nice! I saw so many awesome cosplays. Like Killian, and Davenport and NO-3113. To the more obscure like Steven the goldfish, and the voidfish.
Also the same Magnus who gave me the duck traded for a haunted doll of a Garfield the deals worlock. Who I saw from the balcony trying to sell his goods during the intermission.
I was not in cosplay but I was dubbed âa blue jeansâ So not specifically Barry. But... like I was wearing my favorite jeans.
THE FINAL PAM was also there.
I had so much fun. The show was awesome and Iâm so happy I could make it to see everything live and in person.
IS THAT KRAVITZ FROM THE ADVENTURE ZONE!!!!?!?!
What is the TAZ: Balance Music Festival?
Itâs a weekend where we get together on a Discord server and listen to music that reminds us of TAZ:Balance characters, story arcs, and ships! Everyone is welcome! Thereâs discussion of TAZ and its content, other McElroy podcasts, and more!
Whoâs involved?
I was a moderator last year, and this time Iâm pleased to announce that Iâll be running the festival! Also participating will be my capable co-owner Miles, along with the six members of the moderation team! The server is currently eighty-seven members strong, though that doesnât count systems. During the rest of the year, the server is very active, and has a strong and friendly community, with events, discussions, and support for one another- youâll fit right in!
When is this happening?
The festival will run from Saturday, July 24, at 9 AM Central, to Monday, July 25, at 12 AM Central.
Sounds great! How do I join?
Anyone (regardless of age) can join using the link below! Please be sure to read the rules and info carefully!
wait for it. itâll take a couple minutes. but i promise itâs worth it

Please explain to me how a podcast whose main three characters are called âtres horny boysâ can make me cry on regularïżŒ
Sister and I discussing the implications of Travis answering one small question very differently, and wondering how Griffin would have handled it.
And Done!
This took around 1-2 hours to complete, and was very fun.
I've never drawn the THB before and they're the first thing I've drawn in my new sketchbook (and with my new coloured pencils). I'm very proud of them.
Taako looks like such a fckn meme, lol

Do you think that the Taako from TV epithet came from him having a literal modern day tv show on the original plane- rather than his travelling show in faerun- and, if so, did the world watch as this cooking personality was sent on the most signification scientific mission of their generation. What is even the media response to that? Like, they sent Gordon Ramsey and his identical twin sister to space, and then the apocalypse happened. wtf
"there's something about the dying that feels familiar" fucking unbelievably metal thing to be told. you die and you could swear you've been here before. the last thing you feel before your breath leaves your body is intense deja vu. you've never died before but somehow you know how this goes. you have an uncanny feeling being dead is a temporary gig for you, but you have no idea what gives you that impression. and then you're alive again. and you remember dying. and all you remember is that there was something about it that felt familiar.
continuing on my "Lup and Barry get married every cycle and the ensuing weddings encompass a very wide range of tones" bullshit: consider, if you will, a cycle where they mean to get married early on, they really do. but the hunt for the Light is just so intense, and the time flies by so fast, that they still haven't done it by the time the end is closing in...
and in the final fight for the Light, a little under a month out from the Hunger's arrival, Lup is grievously wounded. she lies in Barry's arms, bleeding out, and with her dying breath, she whispers her final wish:
"reanimate my corpse and put her in a nice dress for the wedding"
and who is Barry to turn down a dying wish from his wife, let alone a dying wish that's that fucking funny, so Barry loyally throws some wedding plans and some necromancy spells together so that Zombie Lup can attend the ceremony. her soul doesn't reside in her body anymore because no one was willing to burn the spell slots on True Resurrection (it's only a month out from resets, come on), but she's very well-behaved as Barry very sincerely declares his eternal love and wiggles this cycle's ring onto her finger.
Taako hates it so much. the energy in the studio is incredibly uncomfortable. Lucretia takes a bunch of photographs of every moment so that Lup can enjoy it later upon respawn. most of the crew eventually looks back and recognizes this instance as the start of the slippery slope that lead to lichdom, but Lup and Barry refuse to acknowledge how fucking weird it was. they will treasure those pictures forever
I love the implications of the seven birds being from a more technologically advanced world than faerun (knowledge of TV, understanding of machine guns "count the shells", using microphones ect) because how many things was Lucretia not able to erase? Across 99 planes, it's impossible that she managed to get everything. And how well was she really able to introduce the more medieval concepts of faerun into their memories?
What did the THB think everyone was doing just waving swords around rather than pulling out guns; did they just accept it and move on? Imagine Lucretia trying to explain them to a weapons development department of the BoB to equip her employees. Lucretia, a records keeper, who cannot have a great understanding of the inner workings of firearms. Vaguely describing rectangles that explode to a reception of horrified looks.
Or Taako repeatedly asking Sazed to supply him with various kitchen utensils he insists are vital for the recipe that just Do Not Exist. Magnus, complaining that he can't play little games on his stone of farspeech, while everyone around is completely baffled at the concept. Everyone around them not only not getting their pop culture references, but being fundamentally incapable of understanding them.
I just think there is something so funny about them functionally time travelling and then promptly forgetting they were from a different era at all. And just. Having to get on with it.

Day 4 (a day late) of my Womenâs History Month art challenge!
Lup!! Itâs been several years since Iâve listened to TAZ, but I adored Balance. Lup wasnât there for much of it, but I loved what we got to see of her. Iâm excited for her to show up in the graphic novels :] as with yesterdayâs drawing, Iâve actually cosplayed her before. The design of her hair and the Phoenix Fire Gauntlet here are both inspired by that cosplay.
First // latest Merle :]
