Hi this is probably going to be my only tumbler post since I don't have much confidence in this sort of thing but anyway I wanted to show you my Swapfell Sans cosplay or Nox or Black I'm not a professional cosplayer. or anything, as you all could tell, but I'm proud of this costume. Just please don't be too harsh on the criticism and be kind thank you

I love this question! I love all your ideas, and since life just keeps bombing me I just get distracted. I hope you like these little headcanons!

They all have a side to them that's scary in general, especially when they are feeling protective. However, only a few of them are initially scary to begin with!!

Red: He, by his world's standards, isn't the scariest. He doesn't even try to be scary on the surface either, since he's too lazy. However, he noticed that to humans, he seems scary. He sometimes does this to mess with humans, even you at times. (Though, it's always lighthearted and teasing.) When in public, he is casual with you, but he's aware that people will leave you alone more likely if you're with him. He tends to linger closer when he sees you're nervous, brushing it off with a tease. He won't push you too much, though, and he'll let you grab onto his hoodie when nervous. He might forget that he's scary at times though, which can lead to funny things happening

Pitch: He was scary in the underground, and he's scary on the surface. He knows he's scary, and this either greatly benefits him or greatly inconveniences him. When he's with you, he's always on high alert, and you'll be able to tell. He, with your permission of course, will tend to keep a hand on your shoulder if he can help it or ask that you stand close. He might make you feel embarrassed if someone bothers you and he demands that they apologize, but overall he has your back.

Carmine: With a slightly more intense energy, he's hyper aware of his scary dog privileges. He demands authority when walking into a room, and he is aware of the eyes that may linger on him. He may be more gentle and attentive with you, but that wouldn't show in public. He rarely would show PDA, or get distracted when you're around. Any time with him that wouldn't involve being high alert would only be on rare occasions like date night, but he's very aware of everything around him and he's okay with being that way for you

Rus: Much quieter and more relaxed, his scary dog privileges never fully turn off. He's naturally scary due to his height and appearance, even if he wasn't too intense for his underground's standard. He's quieter than Red, too, so that just adds on. He likes to stare at others and likes to drape himself around you, whether in public or not. He may not be the worst, but he's one of them

Razz: loud, demanding, and scary, he's like Carmine in a different way. Carmine is quiet in his intimidation, but Razz revels and preens in being more scary. He grows more humble, of course, but... Well, the moment he's aware he scared someone off for you, you won't see him stop smiling. He likes messing with others, to make them uncomfortable while smiling, even if you tell him not to. He can't help it!

Cash: He knows he looks intimidating, and he's aware that he's judged. Like Rus, he also is very clingy in different ways. He's louder, more sarcastic, and he likes to scare people to amuse himself. When he knows he's also conveniently protecting you, he never lets you out of his sight and he's quieter about his protectiveness. He won't outright tell you what he's doing, or cause a scene, but you can trust that he will deal with whoever bothers you.

Wine: Just naturally intimidating compared to the others, he's even more authoritative compared to anyone else. He preens in his intimidation, but he's humble about it and he can be polite. His scary dog privileges are quieter, but stronger under that thin veil of nice behavior. He won't ever let you see him act that way, though, because he's a gentleman and you don't need to worry your little head about things. He'll deal with whoever bothers you, don't worry!

Saint: He doesn't like being scary. He knows he is, though. It protected him underground, and he feels that lingering insecurity when he DOES get stares. However, he never voices them. He may get more irritable, though. He lingers around you, always on alert. He tries to make sure you can tell he's comfortable with laughing and joking, but he's sarcastic and rude with anyone that's annoying or bothering you. He's not above verbal threats, and he's open to fighting easily. To say the least, if you're afraid to go somewhere, he's wonderful to have since he's quieter and one of the most scary.

Lunar: he's tall, scary, and yet he doesn't like it. He really wishes that he didn't look so...like him. Nonetheless, even if he's polite and kind, he's aware that he's intimidating. He avoids trying to make himself look scary, which makes you and him feel a little braver when you encourage each other to feel less insecure. However, there would be occasions he doesn't let you see his expression when he's...protective. He won't vocalize it, but his aura and appearance alone is enough to ward people away

Dust: He doesn't have to try, and he doesn't bother to try. He's scary, he knows that. Monsters and Humans alike find him scary as hell, if not unnerving. He doesn't say anything, of course, unless you talk to him first. If confronted by someone, he just has to put minimal effort into scaring them off with his face under his hoodie or just with a few words. He'll let you cling onto him without commentary, and he's great if you want someone to ramble to. He'll make sure you're safe, no matter what

Valentine's Day

What I think the skeletons would do to celebrate the holiday! It's a bit late but do I care? Nope!! Very self indulgent for me specifically 🫡

Vanilla: He's the type of skeleton I think who would pretend that he doesn't remember what holiday it is. If you asked him about it, he'd scratch his skull and ask "I wonder what's up with today?" And then dismiss it. He'd chalk everything up in order to further confuse you, all the way until he can get you alone. He's not a skeleton of much effort, but he would wait till it was night time to reveal what he made. Let's say you got him something. If you did, he'd blush and thank you, of course. He would just pretend to be confused up until it's night time. He'd take you to Grillbys and that's when he would show what he did. He asked Grillby to make a Valentine themed meal, and he'd present you with a small figurine. It would be a cute little charm, something that you can carry around in your pocket! He just wants to see you smile the moment you realize that he was messing with you all day, and he'd be grinning like a cheshire when the two of you can enjoy the cozy night

Cyperus: Oh boy he's been looking FORWARD to this day! Ever since he learned about it, he planned for the perfect day. He's the type to wake you up with a delicious breakfast of pancakes or waffles topped with whatever fruit you prefer and whipped cream. Then, he'll take you out on a day trip of him presenting you with all sorts of gifts! If you happen to surprise him with gifts of your own, he gets all flustered but tries to play it off to appear cool. He's flattered, of course, but it would also probably end up with him claiming that he needs to up his game and then that'll lead to a spiral of the both of you playfully being competitive. I can imagine the day ending with a kiss on the cheek, and he'll just sort of look cartoonishly go "WAOH!!!" before getting all giddy. He's so cute ｡⁠:ﾟ⁠(⁠;⁠´⁠∩⁠`⁠;⁠)ﾟ⁠:⁠｡

Red: He's worse than Vanilla, trust. He's going to avoid witnessing any hint, play dumb, and overall frustrate you to the point you would probably throw the stuffed animal you had for him. However, laughing, he'd just reveal that he also had a plushie that was just coincidentally matching. He has a big ol' box of chocolates for you and he's trying to coax you to forgive him with promises of taking you out to eat with no expenses worth worrying about. He's more of a stay at home guy, y'know? But he'll try to make it up for you

Pitch: If Cyperus was excited, you can say that Pitch is twice as much. He's the type to go with a theme, decorating your bedroom while you're out and about with roses upon roses decorating the place. He would prepare a home cooked table of delicious dinner and desserts galore, wearing his most beautiful red outfit. He's not going to say sappy things to you since his actions speak louder, but he would say that he wishes you a Happy Valentine's Day as he offers you things like your favorite perfume/cologne, a mug, and the like. If you got him something like a red scarf or purse of some kind, you can bet that he'll wear it and treat it well <3

Powder: He never really heard about Valentine's Day, up until knowing you, but just as expected, he's sappy about it. He would mark a date with something exciting like a theme park that's happening nearby, preparing a day where you two can run around and win games before exchanging kisses on the Ferris wheel. He would prepare a whole set that he hid for you until later in the day, a bouquet of flowers, a small plushie, and candy of your preferred taste. He would just be all over you, hugging you and holding your hand whenever you two can

Stretch: He's so sappy it's almost ridiculous. He made sure to buy TWO bouquets for you. He would have gotten you both matching animal pajamas and bought treats from Muffet to prepare a cozy Valentine's Day. He would buy you things a little less traditional, like things that are more specific to your interests. He also was able to make a little something special for you, but he'd wait until later that night. He would have it tucked within the snacks, waiting for you to find it, up until you found the little box. Inside is a handcrafted phone charm with your engravings, adorable beads to match your phone and a little honeybee at the end. He wanted to make you something, and he'll be stuttering trying to explain that he hopes you like it. I think the best chance you'd have is giving that skeleton a kiss on the cheek or something as simple as a hug to shut him up

Saint: What the hell is Valentine's Day???? It's been so long, he totally forgot what it was. Even with reminders, he actually had to be reminded the day of Valentine's Day from his brother. He wouldn't tell you that he forgot what day it was, but you would be able to tell. Nonetheless, you prepared a small decorative box filled with sweets and snacks, which would only make him feel more bad since it was so thoughtful. He managed to make a small letter sharing some of his sweet thoughts of you though, and he actually manages to find out that he didn't need to panic so much. He forgets a lot, but he totally forgot that he made a cardigan for you but had it tucked away to prevent it from being damaged! In the end, the two of you were able to prepare a nice walk together in the forest, admiring the scenery as he offered you flowers he picked along the way

Lunar: Sure, he struggles remembering these things sometimes, but he's a Papyrus! And Papyri want to make your day special. He would have been working on a handcrafted necklace and bracelet especially designed to your taste, and the day would be spent with him and you making Valentine themed sweets for the two of you to indulge in with things such as chocolate dipped strawberries, and rice krispie treats. He'd light a few candles and he'd present the jewelry to you afterwards, the two of you sitting on the porch as you both talked and had a more quiet but still romantic day. With what flowers you ended up keeping after they started to wilt, he would help you grind them and mix them with clay in order to make beads for later too

Carmine: He's been planning today for a while, and so he planned only the best. A romantic dinner with music at the restaurant? Bam. A warm bath prepared for you that has rose petals and candles? Bam. A bed prepared with silk sheets and the softest of fabrics of a blanket? Bam bam bam. He would place a gift box on the bed for as you finish showering, and it would have your favorite flowers with it. A small letter of only the most poetic, sappy things would be on there, and he would pride himself in being the one to walk you to your bed and provide a lovely robe for you to wear. He wants to pamper you, and yet he would struggle accepting ANYTHING you provide. However, if you happen to find out what his favorite perfume scent is? He'll wear it everywhere he goes, and he'll brag about who got it for him.

Rus: Not the best of planners, he managed to actually prepare a Valentine's Day you both can work with. He would take you to your guy's favorite restaurant and then go to the movies with you, watching whatever genre you liked. He still manages to surprise you though, pulling out a set of earrings that are of wonderful quality while the two of you enjoy walking around a scenic area. It's a more lighthearted, sweet date than anything for Valentine's, but the both of you exchange gifts and end up having a matching necklace the both of you can wear wherever you go.

Razz: Not one to consider gifts to be the most strong expression of love, he would prepare a day of going to somewhere like a botanical garden since he knows you would like that. Taking you to get pampered and refreshed, he would then offer the two of you to go to grab a bite to eat with a candlelight dinner. The surprise you can expect from him though, is a treasure hunt. Hell lay items around the house he managed to clean for you, and he would end up surprising you with a sudden presentation of tickets for the two of you. He's heard of this beautiful place, somewhere that involves some traveling, but he knew that it was somewhere you've been wanting to go. He would practically preen when he sees your excitement, growing even more preen when he earns a kiss

Cash: The skeleton decided to make sure that you got to experience a spa day for Valentine's Day, the both of you talking shit as you're both being pampered. After, he would outright take you to the mall, and the two of you would go on a spending spree. The things that were bought cannot be listed, since he just made sure to get whatever caught your eye. By the end of it, you would've assumed that is the end of it, but no. He would act like it was, but as soon as you got home you would see what he prepared in the kitchen. A bouquet of just purple and orange flowers, surrounding a heart shaped box of slices of cake, and romantic music playing on the speaker the moment you realize what it is since he had it set to play. The rest of the night is you and him devouring the cake and watching movies, cuddling.

Wine: Imagine the most romantic, stereotypical date for Valentine's Day. He's worse than that. Flowers upon flowers would surround you, the house cleaned to perfection and lit with candlelight while you both enjoy a fettuccini plate with garlic bread and wine. The bedroom has petals on the floor, and on the bed he has two glasses for the two of you to indulge in for drinks. He bought desserts to your liking, and he and you both watch crappy romance reality TV while talking mad shit, lounging in self indulgence so much it blends into hedonistic pleasure. He's a heavy romantic who speaks words of poetry and romance, showering you with sincerity. He struggles and outright denies gifts most of the time, until you discovered his favorite chocolate. White chocolate, something no one has seen him touching. You somehow managed to also discover his favorite jewel, which you managed to get ahold of as it decorated a crystal ball music box. You've never seen him more flustered, or hear his voice crack such as today.

Coffee: Oh he's so sweet. The two of you did DIY craft couple tasks together for the first half. For one activity, you exchange the same canvas and collaborated on a painting. For another, he had the honor of drawing you as the two of you ate ice cream on the couch together. You figured out his love for sanrio, so when you presented him with stickers for his sketchbook, a plushie, and a hoodie, he was practically in tears with joy. To finalize the day, he surprised you by covering your eyes before the two of you were in a gazebo that had a table for you both to sit at. He prepared a classic, simple dinner with snacks and desserts, but it was fun since it allowed you both to also make your food as you went along. He managed to also present you with a small bouquet of flowers, all having to do with flower symbolism, but he refuses to tell you.

Dust: You didn't think he would bother, let alone remember what today was. However, it was to your surprise when he silently approached you with a bag. Inside, a stuffed animal that was of your favorite animal was there, along with a picture book filled with memories you have made together. He stands there awkwardly, waiting for your approval, and he's met with one when you carefully offer a hug. He practically clings onto you and the both of you experience a silent holiday where you both manage to stay away from everyone. You both order takeout, look at the photos together that he took, and fall asleep in a pile of pillows and blankets that you managed to make. He wasn't sure you would like the gifts, but he was happy when he found out that you did. He also managed to be surprised when you offered a book that you thought he would like, along with a satchel that was red in color and had small patches on it you sewed down. When you fall asleep, he can't help but watch you, admiring you as his phalanges stroke your cheek and he can hear the sound of your soul. He's happy that he met you

Cash Serrif Playlist

So the vibe I get from Cash is slightly different than Rus, and I tried to get that in this playlist! I also used orange for his bracelet since I think he would have orange magic instead of purple or green, but it's only green because of the substances he uses, making it sickly ig(?) anyways, enjoy! Ive been posting my playlists and bracelets recently to be paired with each skeleton and now I gotta ask:

Solar Eclipse

How would each skeleton react to a Solar Eclipse? Especially if the other skeletons and you were around? Well, let's see. To note, this does not include the Fellswap!G brothers but it does include tale, fell, swap, horror, and both swapfells. There is even a surprise for one more at the end ;)

Vanilla: He would be one of the few to know about what a solar eclipse is in the first place. He wanted to show the others a rare sight, and he even provided glasses for the others. He would find it neat, and as he sipped on a glass of lemonade, he noticed Cyperus holding your hand. He finds it cute and winks at you playfully, raising his glass. He doesn't mind that you're occupied, especially since he can occupy his time teasing Red. He enjoys seeing how everyone is reacting, even if some of them were dragged to participate

Cyperus: He panicked when he was told that the sun was going to disappear. At first, he grabbed Pitch and shook him, shouting about the end of all light. Of course, it was you who had to grab him and reassure him. He would turn to look at Vanilla for confirmation, but he'd end up relaxing. He gets a little nervous, and he would ask if you'd let him hold your hand when it happens. He would find your presence comforting, especially since his anxiety would make him unsure. He would be thankful, though. The moment he finds himself in awe, he shakes you with excitement before pointing at it and shouting about how cool it is

Powder: He would have learned about it because Stretch was rambling about it when they were underground. Stretch has a love for planets, and it would make him happy to know that his brother gets to finally see one. He would provide drinks for everyone, organizing everything. He'd take you aside for a moment and ask if you'd help make sure the others aren't losing their shit. He mentions that Saint will most likely be the most nervous about it. He admits that he plans to make sure the others have a good time, even if he has to drag some of the others out. He finds the solar eclipse to be... beautiful, even if he was a little flustered seeing how pretty you looked when you gazed upon the sky. He gets teased a bit, especially by Razz, but he responds by elbowing his ribcage, muttering for him to shut up. The two end up getting a bit argumentative, but it's less intense since Carmine smacks Razz's skull and Powder tries to prevent further fighting

Stretch: He's the MOST excited out of everyone. Instead of stars being his special interest like Vanilla, it would be planets. He would be rambling to you about it and even get Cash and Rus to be excited. He's a little embarrassed when he catches himself, but seeing that you don't mind would make him all sappy. He's the first to be up on the roof, sitting next to Rus and you. He would press his arm against you, nudging you a bit as he asks if you're ready. He would be mumbling to himself about the sight, in awe. You can't help but find it...endearing. It's funny though when he and Rus start fangirling, the two getting distracted as they catch Cash getting excited

Red: Like Vanilla, he heard about it before. He's a little unsure of how to feel, but he tries to act indifferent. He sort of gets flustered though when Vanilla messes with him about how the tough guy seems to feel unsure. Seeing you all excited would make him a little soft, especially since he rarely gets to see you look this way. He'd sort of wrap an arm around you before the event, pulling you close as he teases you a bit. "well, even if this doesn't mean too much to me, I'm glad to see you enjoying yourself sweetheart," During the solar eclipse, he'll steal a few glances your way, even if he tells Vanilla to shut up when hes caught. He's not that affected, no. He also looks at Pitch throughout, and he kinda chuckles to himself to see his brother actually in awe about something so openly. Vanilla gets him to admit that he's also excited, earning him a playful elbowing as the two are more focused on how the others are reacting

Pitch: He didn't want to admit it, but he also was kind of panicked about the solar eclipse. He didn't know what everyone meant, and he sort of starts to check on everyone's safety. He goes to you at some point and points a phalange your way. "YOU. YOU'RE....OKAY WITH THIS?? THE SUN IS GOING MISSING, IS THIS JUST FINE WITH YOU????" He's confused if anything, even if his voice is as rough as it is. You laugh a bit before moving his gloved hand away. He tries to hide how the action makes him pause, and he listens to what you're saying when you explain it to him. He takes a moment, and then he pulls his hand away with a "HMPH. I SEE. .....WELL! THANK YOU." and he nods his head at you with his frown, but it's less intense. You don't miss the way his shoulders loosen, but you don't comment on it. He sort of stands awkwardly, and speaks up finally. ".... DON'T TELL ANYONE ABOUT THIS, OKAY..?" It clicks at that moment that he was too shy to ask the others about it. You nod, and in turn he straightens up and awkwardly bows slightly before he struts away. He scolds Rus and Cash when they're all on the roof, especially since they didn't put on their glasses at first. However, his focus is on Lunar. He asked you about the eclipse for his own sake, and secretly Lunar's as well. He doesn't let anyone see Lunar's hand clinging onto his sleeve, not even commenting on it. He wants to act collected, but he's just as nervous. When it happens though, it's.... actually fascinating. He doesn't even notice how his jaw is agape, his eyelight smaller. This was new, but...he is less nervous about it now.

Saint: Oh fuck, he's not having a good time at first. After everything underground before he was pulled to Vanilla's world?? He's having an awful time, even if it's explained to him. It's not from a lack of knowledge, but rather the fear of what could happen and the fear of that darkness. He was just getting used to the Sun. In front of the others though, he's silent and acts like he's not internally freaking out. He can't help that his hand starts scratching at his eye socket, or how his eyes are pinned on the sky as he's up on the roof before the others. He's fidgeting, and he doesn't even realize it. When you're free from Cyperus since he's excitedly talking to the others, you see him. Scooting over to him, he flinches when he feels your hand gently grabbing his own. You pry his clawed phalanges away from his eye socket, holding it as you quietly look at him. Your hands are soft and warm as you smile before muttering, "Hey, it's okay." He just kind of stares, silent as his eyelight slowly starts to dilate. Before you realize it, he pulls you to sit directly between his legs. You can hear the slight shift of his skull as he rests his jaw against your shoulder, and only then does he feel content. He grumbles a bit as you go, but only a bit as he hesitates. He suspects where you're going, and decides to focus on the berries as he bashes Carmine and Razz's skull. He threatens them with a grin to behave or go inside, especially since Powder was so nice as to get everyone comfortable. The rest of the time they're up there, he's talking to Powder and being all friendly

Lunar: He doesn't intend to be so nervous about something like this, but he didn't realize how much the solar eclipse was going to make him nervous. He was a lot more reserved, his hands fidgeting with his scarf. It was Pitch who noticed, and it was him who asked what was wrong after dinnertime. He's cleaning the dishes as Lunar dries them and puts them away on the rack, the two not looking at one another as he admits the truth. Pitch doesn't judge him, even going so far as to offer his company during the event. Lunar is grateful, which has him asking Pitch if he can hug him. Pitch mumbles with reluctance, before dramatically agreeing. He opens his arms and says "FINE. BUT JUST THIS O-" He's stopped when he feels the gentleness of Lunar's hug. He hesitates before slowly wrapping his arms around him in return, the two sharing a private moment as Lunar thanks him. At the eclipse, he's subtly messing with Pitch's sleeve, a little nervous. He's happy to see that you and Saint are getting along, he knows that his brother was also nervous. Pitch ends up distracting him until the two start talking. Lunar admits that the eclipse is...less uncomfortable in the company of a friend

Carmine: He was the only other one to help Powder organize the event on the roof. He knows that Rus secretly admired space and overall planets, so he wanted things to be set up nicely. He kind of just watches during the eclipse until he intervenes with Razz and Powder. When he and Razz started arguing, he only knocked it off when Saint came on over. Begrudgingly, he and Razz sit aside and are snippy towards one another. He asks Razz if he's happy for Cash when he realizes I'm their silence that he's watching him. Razz asks defensively why, but Carmine decides to take the step and answer. "BECAUSE I KNOW THAT I AM HAPPY FOR MY BROTHER, AND THAT MUST MEAN THE SAME FOR YOU." .....Razz doesn't answer for a bit. However, the two seem to reach a quiet and temporary peace as the two finish their conversation about their brothers. At least it's something they can agree on.

Rus: He wanted to deny that he was excited about the eclipse, or at least refrain himself. After all, he doesn't want to look like a dork. When Stretch is so open about it though, Rus ends up getting excited as well. He was a bit more open to it before, but now he and Stretch are actively rambling about how cool it is. It took him and Stretch by surprise when they asked him what he thought and Cash accidentally sounded excited with his eyelight flickering to something akin to an orange tint. They catch him and they gang up on him, getting him to join as he tries to play it off and act cool. He has fun, and he even was able to ask you before you went to Saint if you're doing okay. He seems to be occupied though, and he notices you have a plan in mind when you gesture subtly to Saint

Razz: He found it to secretly be something he'd enjoy, but he originally acted like it was something he went to out of obligation. He started teasing Powder, ended up getting in an argument with Carmine involved, and then was threatened by Saint. He isn't having too much fun until everything actually goes out. His eyelights find Cash, and as he's called out for staring, it's only then that he and Carmine can sit in silence. He's more happy about Cash enjoying this, even if he thinks that the solar eclipse is so fascinating.

Cash: He can't admit that this is something he actually is super excited for. He can't do it, he will look like a dumbass! A soft one at that!!! He acted like he only went because everyone else was, but he planned to go even if everyone didn't. He got caught though, and he didn't intend for it. When this happened, he couldn't be left alone. Augh!! He saw that you noticed and got even more nervous, especially when he begged for you to save him from the other two. You teased him before feeding him to the wolves. How cruel you are!!! He even tried to slip away out of secret embarrassment, but Rus and Stretch won him over. .....He ended up geeking out with the other two

You left the rooftop, your glasses in hand as you asked Vanilla for a spare before leaving. You didn't forget about him, even if he declined the other's offer to go. It took you a minute to find him, but he was in the backyard having a smoke. He either didn't see you or he did see you but didn't acknowledge you when you approached. "Dust?" You called, only knowing that he heard you when he tilted his head in your direction. You couldn't see his face properly, but you knew he was listening as he pulled his cigarette away from where his teeth would be. "I brought you some glasses for the solar eclipse. I didn't think you wanted to join because everyone was going to be up there, so I came down here!" You explained, handing him a pair as he took it from your hand. He observed it for a moment, before he tilted his head back up at you without a word. You hated how you couldn't tell what he was thinking, or at least how he felt when you couldn't see his expression. I get it if.....get it if you don't want to see it, I just thought of you and didn't want you to feel....feel excluded." You repeated yourself as you stumbled over your words a few times, silently cursing yourself since you only did this when you were anxious. Fuck your stupid insecurities. You flinched suddenly when you felt smoke hit your face, your eyes widening a fraction as you were startled. He had leaned forward and now was only an inch away from your face, his phalanges hooking around his cigarette before he extinguished it against the stone statue beside the two of you. He still said nothing, but you figured as much that he was more attentive than before. You swallowed back a yelp, of course, you weren't some child. Up this close, you could see them. His eyelights, a soft purple and blue bleeding together with a dash of red. They were...pretty, at least when you didn't think about what each color meant. You could slightly see the outline of his teeth, and how they offered a smile that you weren't used to seeing as his eyelights caused a faint glow. "...Thank you. You really are an...angel." He muttered, his voice smooth and yet slightly raspy, like black charcoal mixed with honey. You couldn't help but feel your breath feel irregular as you involuntarily smiled, taking an extra step back as you straightened up. He tilted his head to the side, but did not say anything else. You heard the sincerity in his voice, that faint softness that he only seemed to have occasionally. You cleared your throat before speaking again. "Of course-! Hah...uhm, thanks. I'm- I'm going back inside now. I hope you enjoy the uh- eclipse!" You didn't even allow yourself to face the embarrassment of how your cheeks flushed against your will at his proximity or how his voice sounded so pleasant to the ears. You didn't see his response, or his smile as he thought to himself... Cute.

- His compliments can be kinda weird. Such as "that was so great that I'm spinning on porches in Ireland" "????"

-He doesn't talk about his interests often and this is a pain when trying to figure out what his hobbies are. But if you ask and show interest when he's in the middle of being excited or secretly taking part in, he'll be shy and ask you to not tell anyone. He is willing to talk about it though

- He often takes smoke breaks outside with Rus, even if he has to sneak it due to Razz's protests against it

- He butters someone up with compliments if he's caught, trying to slide away from a situation

- He would call his lover babe or baby, even if it's sparingly

Closing Notes: most of these are personal headcanons about random ways he is how he is when underground. He'd need a lot of time and patience, since he was so altered by the underground. He progressively let's his guard later on, but until then? He has a lot of work to do

- He likes being in control for a lot of things, but he struggles losing it

- Good at saving money, he in fact taught Cash

- Originally competitive with Carmine and Powder, but eventually formed friendships with them

- He did not have a good relationship with Gaster. He was too clingy and would be too forceful in wanting full dedication from Razz. He wanted Gaster's approval but it resulted in high expectations of himself as he was taught that he had to be independent and powerful

- Brave, independent, proud, intuitive, stubborn, blunt, optimistic, sassy, smug, erratic, unfiltered, responsible, secretive, aggressive, nosy, and bossy

- He hardly curses, especially not in front of authroity

- He acts like a tyrant sometimes, though it's due to insecurity

- Like Carmine, he will berate you but in a more scolding way after you become close with him

- He will falter with genuine communication or compliments, since he's not used to receiving validation or someone actually being honest/sincere

- At first hated Carmine and Powder, but when he fought Powder and got his ass beat he was filled with shame. At first called Powder a soft, annoying version of him who was too humble in his opinion. he poked fun at Stretch for his shyness and then got his ass beat by Powder. He eventually was extended kindness after this and grew to respect Powder, though

- Hated Carmine for being similar to him but not pushing himself to be his "strongest." Yet grew to be more petty over the years. Developed a respect for him and now they're friends who actively are tyrants when it's cleaning day

- His magic smells of sugar, his magic tastes like blackberries

- Hides his face and sniffles a lot when crying, he doesn't like to cry. He hardly does and he has to be pushed to get to that point

- In the underground he was close with Cash at one point. but overtime he slowly resented Cash's habits and behavior. This caused him to be more controlling and frustrated

- He would keep an eye on Cash when he came home high or drunk so that he wouldn't dust, but he never told him since Cash complained about being babied sometimes

- His relationship with the Queen is the same as Gaster's. He's extremely dedicated to her, and people often rumor the Queen's strange interest in him. She uses him for emotional support and has a strange codependency on him despite the power dynamic. He hates it, but tries to sympathize. This keeps his brother out of trouble often, though he doesn't tell him. The Queen makes him value power and has twisted what he should be like, since she was the one to scar him. She makes sure he doesn't disobey

- He tries to let Cash have freedom, and tends to him a lot once they move in with the other skeletons. It'll take awhile, but he will learn how to balance care and controlling habits

- Didn't realize that Cash fell into his habits due to him being in the Royal Guard. He didn't realize that Cash simply wanted his brothers attention and was coping with it

- He tends to express his masked personality over his real one better than anyone else. He in truth feels deeply, cares about many things, and hates that he can't connect with people like he wants to

- He's more lonely than he lets on

- He tends to be desperate for approval, doing a lot to get it even if he acts like he doesn't need it

- Even if he struggles, he can show his care and sincerity in different ways

- He's sacrificed a lot to get where he is now, and he regrets that his brother was part of that crossfire

- He often gets extremely emotional over a lot of things, but he's formed that to be aggression since he's part of the royal guard in an underground that festers in violence. It was a painful necessity for him to change

- He thinks it's selfish of him to care for others

- He grew up with the mentality that power means everything, so when there's no use for it anymore he doesn't know what to do with himself

- He'd rather gouge his own eye out than admit his desire for real, intimate, connections

- He doesn't understand why he can't adapt to the other AU's like the others so easily, but a part of him knows that he's the problem

- He hates that his impulsive decision to anything is demeaning others or getting aggressive

- Ashamed of his scars, unlike Carmine

- He finds his jealousy to be childish, and just like Carmine he'll avoid talking about it until confronted

- He's more tactful and intelligent than he lets on, using certain behaviors as a way to avert drama towards his brother or loved ones by making a scene

- Despite his lack of showing too much kindness, he deeply cares about those he loves and wants to do right by them. So, if he really sees that someone is hurt from his actions, he is not stupid enough to widen that wound and instead tries to find ways to make it up to someone

-He hates the Queen, hates Gaster(who is no longer present), he hates everything. He hates- he hates who he is. Why does he mess everything up?

Closing Notes: I see that Carmine and him are reflections of each other who grew up slightly differently and coped differently as a result. They're more alike than the other realizes, and yet both are on a scale in how they handle shit. The two are SWAP fells though, so they have a sort of twisted way of dealing with things when compared to Powder if he was put in their situations. Sadly, Razz just is too stuck in his ways to change anytime soon. But maybe he just needs...mercy?

The 14 Skeleton Names:

As I type this, I know that I have a lot of other AU's I can put here, but I narrowed it down to the main 14 sets of brothers to keep it short. I'll make another separate posts including the other AU's and even the outcodes like Error, Ink, Killer, etc. Not every name I use is what others use within the community, so this just keeps things in line and even will explain the reasoning behind certain names! This is entirely based on that really cheesy trope of them all being roommates so take this as if they all decided to have names to differentiate each other! Also yes, UT brothers deserve names too, it's not fair that they hardly have their names changed in those fics and also I think that both of them would find it fun!

I also decided to name each of them with the same last name: Serrif. It's a font and I think that they'd all (mostly) agree that it's a good last name for them to share. After all, it's clear that none of the monsters underground had a need for last names.

Undertale -

Undertale Sans: Vanilla Serrif. Just like vanilla ice cream, Sans has a variety of AU's with each of their own unique "toppings." I find it fitting that the classic og has the name Vanilla because there's so much to do with vanilla ice cream, you can't do something new with something such as rocky road

Undertale Papyrus: Cyperus Serrif. Cyperus Papyrus, which is better known as Papyrus, is a species of long, aquatic flowering plants that is known for being a "paper plant." It has origins dating all the way back to when the font was first used on "Papyrus Paper." Now wouldn't that be a fun reason he chose the name? He's a smart, creative monster who would definitely do something like this.

Underfell -

Underfell Sans: Red Serrif. A classic, of course. He's more of a lazy type and I think that he'd name himself Red to seem cool, instead of naming himself after food like the og. He wouldn't put too much thought into his name, but it would stick rather well since he was one of the first to be moved from his universe.

Underfell Papyrus: Pitch Serrif. Pitch black like the leather he'd wear and pitch black like his so totally cool and edgy personality! He wanted a menacing name, and he wasn't going to just name himself after a color if it didn't sound cool! (He was going to name himself something cooler, but his brother named himself after a color and so he wanted them to secretly match with color coded names)

Underswap -

Underswap Sans: Powder Serrif. Not only is it a pretty color of blue, but it's a name that implies that he's nimble and almost "floating." He has a very active personality, so he found that it's a very fitting name! It's light like his personality and behaviors, he swears that it's a better name than just Blue. He wanted to put a little bit more thought into his name than "edgy him."

Underswap Papyrus: Stretch Serrif. Also a classic, there weren't many names that he found appealing. He was nicknamed things such as carrot, but it was actually Vanilla that helped him find his name. He commented that he was like a "stretched" out version of him, joking. Of course, he couldn't pass up the opportunity to make his name not only an inside joke, but almost a small pun that he loves.

Horrortale -

Horrortale Sans: Saint Serrif. It actually wasn't his idea to be named Saint. He was more stubborn about his name since that was an identity he wanted to cling onto. However, this was still when he was just fresh outside of his underground. At the gentle persistence of his brother, he begrudgingly let himself not be so clingy about his name. The others weren't so cruel as to name him something like Axe, Swiss, etc. In fact, Powder actually was the one to come up with the name. It means a holy one, and Powder found that it was fitting because despite everything that happened: He prevailed, and kept to at least most of his morals. Saint values his name now as he opens a new chapter of his life

Horrortale Papyrus: Lunar Serrif. He was delighted to have a new name, even if he had a history with his previous name. There's a lot of shame in the underground, and so he ended up going with the name Lunar. It's pale, faded like his magic, but it also means the moon. Unlike the Sun, it is soothing and quiet, still ever bright but in its own way.

Swapfell Red -

Swapfell Red Sans: Carmine Serrif. It's a very pretty shade of red, just like his magic. He liked the idea of making himself think of a pretty color, while also going by a name that had associations to his underground roots without specifically tying the name down to it. After all, the color carmine is the color of dried blood and is a raw pigment. As a result, he chose a name that suited his tastes

Swapfell Red Papyrus: Rus Serrif. So, he really did not care for changing his name. Some people say it's because it sounds like a name a dog would have, but it's actually because he liked the sound of it by itself separate from Papyrus. papy-RUS. Carmine tried to make him choose a different name, but he stuck with it

Swapfell Purple -

Swapfell Purple Sans: Razz Serrif. Raspberry purple is a beautiful shade of purple, and it happens to be the color of purple his magic is. So, for short, he chose to call himself Razz. Razz, however, is a word that means to heckle, ridicule, or to tease. It's a habit he happens to have, and because he's educated enough to have known this, it's the real reason he chose to name himself this

Swapfell Purple Papyrus: Cash Serrif. He has a lot of ties and intelligence revolving money, the best gambler underground in fact. He's lazy, but Razz refused him to go by anything that could be associated with his original name in the name of originality. This failed, of course. But, Razz let him keep it

Fellswap Gold -

Fellswap Gold Sans: Wine Serrif. Wine is a beautiful drink that was rare in his underground, but a pleasure he had nonetheless due to his ranking. It's also a beautiful color, so he found it only rational to name himself Wine. It's a reflection of his more classy personality, after all.

Fellswap Gold Papyrus: Coffee Serrif. He wanted to go by a name that complimented his brothers, so he did the same thing as Wine by naming himself after his favorite drink. He didn't need to put much thought into it, but it works nonetheless

Some reasons have more meaning than others, so uh,,,yeah👴👍

Swap Papyrus!! Stretch

He's a skeleton who likes dates to be indoors but unlike Cash he likes walking around and going on fun outings. He's often outside with his brother or watching over everyone anyway so he's developed a love for things like picnics, walking at night, stargazing and the like.

His fear of the world resetting again often causes him to close himself off. I mean, for him it doesn't matter, right? Cause it's just going to start back at square one. But that day never comes. He knows that it won't happen again but it's still a huge worry for him. So I think it'd be hard to get on his trusting side first, no matter how much he likes you in a romantic light.

When he starts to warm and loosen up around you I think he'd be a really sweet date mate. He likes to lean on you a lot, not in a mean 'poking fun at your height' way more like a 'he's tired and likes the warmth' kinda vibe/beat.

He does small things that don't really seem like a big deal but are caring and endearing like blowing smoke the other way (unlike Cash), offering you food and drinks (even though he mostly consumes honey), and just small miscellaneous stuff kinda like sharing blankets and lending you clothes.

Stretch most definitely, enjoys seeing you in his colors. Or even shirts for that matter. It's like you're carrying a part of him everywhere that way! He'd also be a bit corny with his puns and get a little embarrassing but he continues to make them because you laugh at them. Also because his brother groans dramatically and he thinks it's funny.

Loves taking naps with you. Also lazy dances in the kitchen at night make him smile very wide. He's not immune to flattery as well though so I think Stretch would also get kind of flustered at small intimate acts. Definitely tries to play it cool and fails.

Tells you stories about his underground in exchange you tell him stories back. Enjoys the cultural exchange and likes hearing about your experiences too. He often ends up staring at you very clearly not listening when this happens and you just tend to playfully roll your eyes.

Cash!! Swapfell Papyrus!

Pretty lazy skeleton who likes low effort activities, greedy and lazy. So like, dates and stuff would be typically in doors where he doesn't have to do much. I.E. movies dates, dinners and typical gaming sessions that turn into hang outs. Stuff like that.

Cash most definitely has commitment issues. He's not used to a constant relationship with him and his brother disagreeing so often and his relationships with other people tend to be either flings or people he's robbed.

With that being said, he would like to hang out often once he realizes you're not going to up and leave him so quickly and I think he'd get pretty clingy. Likes to have an arm around you and enjoys physical touch. Cash would probably like to be lazy with you and annoy people with you around. You have interesting perspectives and reactions to things so he'd like to mess around and get kinda mean with his pranks, whether that is towards you or other people just depends on the day.

Side note but because he's a greedy skeleton in general I don't imagine he'd let you wander off far from him too much. Cash values your time a lot and can get petty when you start to get busy without clueing him in too. He likes to be a part of what you do.

Definitely the kind of guy to fuck with you by doing small annoying shit like blowing smoke your way and getting overly possessive over you and what you're doing. Again, his greed gets the best of him very often. Oh also definitely the type of guy to put shit higher on the shelves so you need his help. (<-- this backfires when his brother gets onto him about it)

Swapfell Papyrus! Mutt/Rus

The feeling of his house suffocates him a lot so I think he'd like to be more out and about. So dates would typically be at events like aquariums, carnivals, walks, lantern festivals/Diwali and things of the like. He doesn't have to do too much but he also gets to enjoy new sights and get out of the house.

Mutt! He's a very quiet and stand off -ish skeleton. So I think even beginning a relationship or friendship with him is going to be a challenge within itself. He doesn't typically reply back in conversations and is very curt and straight faced.

I think the beginning of your relationship would start with either his brother taking a liking to you or you making it your goal to at least get him to crack a smile.

Because his brother is very.. well, demanding and strict he doesn't like being caught slacking. So when he quietly laughs at something you said he immediately cringes and tightens up, judging by your open mouthed and wide eyed expression he assumes you notice and quickly retreats to his room.

I think he starts to learn to relax a little around you. Lots of leaning on you for support and pulling you into his lap, while he mumbles incoherently about his day or people around him into your shoulder. The romantic feelings start very late, he's a sucker for casual intimacy so he doesn't really pay attention to the implications of being so close and around you 24/7. He just enjoys the soft comfort of your presence a lot.

Once that feeling of yearning sets in, it takes a while for him to confess to you. Out of fear of losing the few soft people he has around him. But you guys eventually start dating! Which includes a lot of small domestic acts like sewing up his jacket, cooking for each other and just generally being close with one another. Totally softie.

Especially likes to lay down in your lap and just.. lay there as you idly run a soft and gentle hand down his skull, soothing his troubles. Much like the trend of taking naps with your partner I think he especially likes to wrap his legs and arms around you, caging you in to nap.

Much like how he is with his brother, gets over protective as well with you. Includes a lot of glaring and holding you closer. Sometimes he even growls lowly, which, you didn't even know how could do.
