Where Every Scroll is a New Adventure
someone stole my art🥲 just let it be known that if you want to repost my art thats totally fine but please please please credit me. I work hard on my art and am a small artist and reposting someones art without credit is a dick move anyhow so please just do the bare minimum and credit artist for their work
PLEASE GUYS REBLOG THIS.
I have personally watch this artist animations for years on end and for someone to just out the blue copyright someones hard work and mark it as AI.
That disrespect on a whole nother level and I'm not going to sit here and be quiet.
For a more in detailed summary of this issue I have a link to one of my favorite YouTubers who got copywrited for just watching the video a few years ago.
Pls Reblog and help this artist out!
Might as well post this here for posterity, since Youtube has yet to resolve the matter.
A couple of weeks ago, my short film 'Pleasant Inn' got a false copyright strike from an individual named Kazi Zidane Mim. He has been striking any Youtube channel that reacted to my short film in the hopes of uploading his own stolen version titled 'Paradise Hell.'
For comparisons, here is my original short film:
[This is a horror animation and contains flashing lights, so viewer discretion is advised]
And here is Kazi Zidane's stolen version:
Kazi Zidane Mim has a history of just flat out stealing.
As an example, this is his 'Bloody Mary graphic novel,' which is actually a manga called 'Ibitsu,' with only the text/dialogue changed.
He's literally just selling this on Google Books and Amazon without any push-back.
I also found out that he has a Sketchfab account.
Why is this important? Because Sketchfab offers a great library of 3D models made by other artists, such as this animated deer by Games in Motion Studios;
Look familiar?
I'm sure coincidences are possible, tho 🦌
Kazi Zidane even made a bogus IMDB page of my stolen short.
And to add insult to injury...
So far, Youtube hasn't done anything about this and I'm tired of waiting. Many channels have received false copyright strikes by Kazi Zidane Mim just for reacting to 'Pleasant Inn' since 2019.
Hey, I saw that a seller on Aliexpress is stealing your art. Aliexpress manufacturers are known for taking from Redbubble to sell in bulk packs of stickers.
Not sure what you can do about it, but here's the link to the listing.

urg really?? thx for letting me know, but please, anyone who is interested in my work, just buy it off my redbubble, the support means the world to me.
Btw most of the products on AliExpress are stolen or a scam, so just avoid the place no matter how inciting the prices are >:/
I am working on reporting them (the process is annoyingly and stupidly complicated), but in the mean time if anyone has readbubble alternatives that AliExpress doesn't steal from, I would love to here them (that is if they even exist :/)
Perhaps this is already common knowledge on this app, but I have yet to see anything about it in my feed. If you are unaware, an AI tech company called HuggingFace recently had a user by the name of nyuuzyou scrape our beloved AO3.
This scrape included over 63 MILLION fanfics written by the hard working, passionate, and incredible people of every fandom. The scrape was conducted with the intent of using the data to generate AI fanfiction and fiction. If you have a fanfic on AO3 that has an ID between 1-63 200 000, and is publicly accessible (not restricted to registered users), then your work was scraped and used in the process.
AO3 admins are currently searching for solutions and some kind of retributions. Until then, make sure to limit your works to registered users and show the real writers that you value their time and contribution to fandom.

No pretty format this time cuz I'm quite serious and flabbergasted right now
I was looking for some AdventNEON references for a drawing and I found this post
As you can see, this guy traced over MY ART, replaced my signature with theirs, and then posted the artwork on Newgrounds
This is my original artwork
I genuinely don't know if to be disappointed or somewhat proud that I'm recognized enough for my art to be STOLEN
I've already sent a message to them but I don't know if they'll even reply, I've never used Newgrounds (in fact, I found out about this stolen artwork literally 3 YEARS after it was posted </333) so I'll have to find a way to report the artwork myself, in the meantime, this is to demonstrate that, no matter how small of an artist you are, people can and will steal, always keep your eyes open
