i love a good senile boyfriend. he may not be physically old but mentally he is at least 85 and he’s always convinced someone is after him.

I hate this so much. I HATE THIS SO MUCH SO THAT I WANT TO KILL MYSELF IN FRONT OF THE WRITERS JUST SO THAT THEY WILL FEEL AN OUNCE OF THE PAIN AND TRAUMA THEY LEFT ME WITH. Hyde was just like "you can go back to kelso" ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? If there is one thing, ONE THING STEVEN HYDE WOULD NEVER SAY is that. Not after how jealous he was anytime they interacted and anytime Michael made jokes and how much it angered him that she had been with Kelso first. He literally hated that and the writing made it CLEAR. I mean obviously nothing in season 8 makes sense and it's all OOC but I just wanted to point this one out.

Something I haven't seen many people point out is how Jackie has said many times that she hates Hyde's family. And they show it like it's something funny but it's obviously because they literally abandoned him. She is so happy he has a new father because the other one was a drunk who left and she says "I hate your family" and then when she is talking about their wedding she says "your family can't come". And again, they frame it as a joke but even if the writers didn't have it in mind to me it's because she HATES HIS FAMILY because of what they did to him.

Hyde defo whispers things in Jackie’s ear 24/7 (could range from some cute and innocent things to some freaky shit). He just seems like a whisperer type to me so his friends won’t call him whipped or make fun of them

OK but honestly, Hyde saying

when last season he explains to Jackie he uses that phrase so no one knows what he means

also further contextualizes Jackie’s excitement at those words

combined with the fact that he has an armour of ambiguity that he teaches her

and that is his signature

that he gets over in season 5 because she’s important enough for him to be decisive and direct with his emotions?

Sorry, I’m just falling in love with this ship again.

Mhm Steve Hyde and Jackie are literally Steve and Billy from st. Their characters and I don’t know? style? They are like the same. And how Hyde called Jackie “doll” and Billy called Steve “princess” and “pretty boy”? I mean? I feel like if serial st was about 2019, Billy would TOTALLY call Steve on a date, cause this guy just hadn’t a chance to call a man on a date in 80s.

Do y’all remember that one episode from That 70’s Show when Kelso had a rant about Hermey the elf😭 and then he had a dream about Santa and Rudolph
