Dating Steve Harrington Would Include...

knowing him from high school but never having really talked to him

talking to him after he and Nancy fight in Season 2 and being the one to suggest buying her flowers because he’d seemed really heartbroken

growing closer after that and essentially becoming close friends, even though both of you develop crushes

you two start dating right before summer starts

visiting him at Scoops Ahoy as much as possible (ice cream is on the house after all)

becoming best friends with Robin and you two like to tease Steve together

being best friends with Dustin too (both of you are clearly his parents now)

always taking care of him after he enviteably gets beat up (poor Steve)

all of the kids thinking you’re way cooler than Steve (you are)

Steve constantly worrying about you whenever they inadvertently end up dealing with the Upside Down because he doesn’t want to lose you

and vice versa because you would totally fight whatever monster you have to if you lost Steve

movie marathons because apparently he does not watch movies ever and that’s a crime

lowkey always playing with his hair because it’s just really soft

you are also one of the few who know the secret to his great hair

you having way too many pictures of him in that sailor outfit and he hates absolutely all of them

you two would’ve been a total power couple in high school and no one can convince me otherwise

oh and steve is an absolute dork now so enjoy your dorky boyfriend
