I was reminded of this Halloween-themed challenge I made for myself 5 years ago and thought I’d attempt it again last minute. I’ll be drawing my OCs in Halloween outfits for (hopefully) the whole month. I would’ve posted this sooner but I’ve been feeling kinda icky lately (prob just the weather affecting me again) and like I said I thought of this last minute. Pick was the theme for today's Inktober. When we are in the open, sometimes we find ourselves imagining being surrounded by fantastic creatures, so we immediately thought about this scene with this little one!

Cyprien the Night guardian
Watching over the alternate reality veiled within, a noble diligent entity of night keeps watch and protects many.

Jinx the Enfield
A surreal but heroic character that uses the magic of the crystals on his star tail to help others and the wings on his arms to give him a boost in jumping or glide.
Day 30 Jupiter A fun-loving comical creature that always loves to bring smiles and fun wherever he goes.

Orion the Dream Jester
A strange whimsical entity that appears in dreams to help dreamers branch out into adventures within their own minds.
Day 28
Professor Gigglesworth
A clown professor who teaches clownology at the Laughs University where clowns of all types learn to master their humor of jokes and comical humor.
Day 27 Serpent of the Black Ice A large and very dangerous creature that resides in the deep large lake that is layered with strong thick ice. Many mortals foolish enough to venture out are devoured by the monstrous serpent as it quickly makes its way through the water undetected with it's body camouflaged of black ice and strikes up through the ice with such aggressive strength.

A watchful amphibian that resides in the swamps and ponds. He offers advice to those that seek it and keeping an array of potions. Sometimes even having tea or coffee just to have good company.

Despite his large intimidating size he's very well know for being similar to a emotional support being that gives hugs and tremendous amount of comfort and love.

Rain the Rain Jester
With her ability to summon rain from a gentle sprinkle to a tremendous down pour. She is a gentle soul bringing smiles and wonder to anyone that sees her.

Charlie
Always laid back and cool headed, he runs a cafe that serves the best drinks and treats for all patrons. Plus the benefit of having long arms and fingers to always reach the highest shelf to grab anything needed.

Mojo the fright magician
A young apprentice learning to make delightfully frightful magic. Hoping to one day become a scary (but helpful) warlock one day.

Leo the star magician
A young magic apprentice that studies magic, dreaming of becoming a fantastic sorcerer one day.
Diego and Xavier
Both cousins despite the different yet similarity to their appearance.

A charming surreal individual, always laid back and happy to help out with anything. He's Diego's cousin and get along pretty well.

Andre The Star Weaver
A sorcerer that studies the stars and weaves them into constellations in the night sky. Researching all he can to learn as much to discover every star.

The Crystal keeper
A mage able to control the energy and power crystals have Aurora uses them to help others and explores the many magic properties of the crystals.

Psycho Kitty
Crazy Dogs partner in crime, jovial and mischevious he can be skittish sometimes and feels safe being with Crazy Dog. He's a loyal friend through and through.

Crazy Dog
A man that was affected by a cursed amulet that's made him permenately what he is today. Mischevious and always looking for fun, sometimes resorting to crime just to have a good chase.
Day 15
Sandy
A sweet kind hearted gaurdian that protects and comforts those that are feeling sad. Has a heart of gold and always gives everyone love.

Jon Tom
A laid back and kind gaurdian that gives advice and comfort to those that need it.
Day 13
Clark the Grinning Boxer
A boxing champion with a heart of gold and an all around sweet goof. He keeps himself on a schedule of his exercises and boxing pracrice even making sure he is able to spend time with friends.

Dream Shepard and Nightmare Keepers son, still learning how to master his ability to control both good dreams and nightmares JoJo is always energetic and ready to go on adventures.

The Nightmare Keeper
A terrifying entity that brings nightmares onto mortals, usually using fear as lessons to help mortals change their ways. He keeps intense nightmares under his claws from going too wild and frightful.
Day 9
The Dream Shepard
A kind and gentle entity who brings forth good dreams to mortals. Everything about is soft including his voice being extremely soft spoken that it could bring others to sleep if they speak with him for too long.
