Before I read the final book, here are my Very Serious bingo predictions
I've read/listened to CO more times than I can count, and I think why I have (when I typically don't ever consume one type of media like this) is because I always come out knowing/understanding something new.
Obviously, I'm here for Baz and Simon and the rest of the gang. But I remember my second time reading, I grasped more the actual tragedy of the story. Particularly with the adults story. They aren't the main focus, but there's so much there that you can infer. I think what really hit me was the lost friendship between Lucy and Penny's mom. The scene were they last saw each other doesn't seem that important, but personally I see it as a prime example of how a manipulative partner can influence your other relationships and consequently add distance to them. Lucy had people who truly cares for her. And though maybe the Mage cared for her in his own way, he used her. I couldn't help but morn the life her and Simon could have had. And writing about it now, I believe the second time reading I truly morned for the characters. For Lucy, for Simon, for Ebb, for Baz, etc—they have been and go through so much but you wish they don't because they deserve so much more. But that's life. Tragedy where it's not fair and in the end you just have to carry on.
And now more recently I got in the mood to relisten to the audiobook. This time around, having read WS and many tumblr treads about the series, I noticed more about Simon. How the Mage treated him, how uncomfortable he is with physical contact, how he thinks people view him. But honestly I think this time around, I just realized how sad Simon is. He doesn't really act it, seeing how that's how he lives life. He doesn't think about the past or the future—he more or less always lives in the current. But we know he dreamed of having parents. The best he had was the Mage and Ebb. Physical contact isn't his thing because he never had it. Only kissed on the lips, never a parental or familiar kiss on the forehead or whatnot as a way to show a sign of care and affection. Always sent off to care homes in the summer. A place he never felt safe in where he always had to have his guard up. And the only time he was wanted somewhere was to fulfill a position in their society. It's no wonder Simon is at a loss in his life, let alone his relationship. I know it's been said, but he's no longer the choose one, and the closest thing he had to a father (is his father but he doesn't know that) told him that was his worth. And URG, there's just so much to say about him. Like how he had trouble speaking as a child and he himself recognized "it was easier to take than to ask." (Which is, admittedly, not a good quote, Simon.) He never learned to communicate, so his actions are the closest to speaking his truth. But now he doesn't know how to communicate what he feels and probably doesn't realize how good it can be to figure stuff out together rather than always be in your head. And don't get me started with WS and the ending. I'm glad he's starting to make goals and try to get in a better place, but he's still has a ways to go. So in conclusion: Simon needs a fucking hug, a therapist, and I need to cry.
But the real conclusion is that Carry On has so much to give. I didn't even scratch the surface. But it's what makes it one of my favourite book and how I'm literally dying for the third book.
Now if you'll excuse me, I will be in a 7 monthish comma until AWTWB is out.

-kyle would definitely keep a pokemon deck with him at all times
-the lanterns tried to beat minecraft together one time and it failed horribly
-the lanterns are still confused on how simon is the only lantern batman tolorates.
-the alien GLs know more earth songs like “another one bites the dust”, “dont stop me now”, “im still standing”, “toxic”, “wannabe”, “say my name” and "i want it that way” because the GLs just breaks into song EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
-the alien GL’s know vines because sometimes the GLs would quote them. (adding to this, whenever the GL’s mess something up at oa, the aliens nearby collectively say “ADAM”)
-guy has a collection of stickers and gives the stickers to the GLs.
-tai does competitive trampolining
-the guardians had to ban trampolines one time because tai was using them to freaking jump high into the sky in oa, freaking out the GL’s. (adding to this, an alien thought he was the messiah or something)
-during a mission, tai sang “chug jug with you” and “revenge” while he defeated an alien army with john because he’s a meme kid
some random lanternfam headcanons:
all of them have extreme cases of “jet lag” every time they’re on earth since the concept of day & night doesn’t really exist in space
john makes dad jokes. and laughs at his own dad jokes
carol and john are both really good at the deadpan, totally straight-faced kind of sarcasm. the two of them have managed to totally convince kyle that kilowog is actually the king of his planet
(meanwhile kilowog wonders why rayner has started bowing every time they see each other, but he’s not questioning it)
the earth lanterns have randomly broken out into song so often that a lot of the alien GLs now know all the lyrics to Stayin’ Alive
hal and guy have an unspoken competition to eat the grossest alien foods. john is constantly worried for their safety
the other lanterns all have to put up with simon and jessica’s mutual pining and it drives them nuts
(hal and carol have flashbacks to when guy and john were going through the same phase)
sometimes the others will forget that guy used to be a teacher, and then he absentmindedly does something like give them little sticker constructs
carol still eats cheap takeout almost every day but she will absolutely spend her CEO money on buying a billboard near hal’s house just to print “Green Lantern Sucks!” on it
simon learned a bunch of magic tricks for his nephew and is really good at them, especially card tricks. he once saved himself and jess from being arrested by aliens with an impressive sleight-of-hand, and he’s ridiculously proud of that fact
jessica randomly bought a yankee candle for guy because “it made me think of you” and guy had to hold back tears
john plays minecraft, and he’s the kind of guy who makes really elaborate buildings and sculptures and redstone contraptions. he’s an architect, okay? it’s fun
kyle and jess also play minecraft together, but only with a pokemon mod
including earth, guy and john have gotten married on 31 separate planets and counting
That heartwarming and soft feeling you get when a character calls his beloved one 'Darling' and 'sweetheart' and 'baby'.
For instance, Alex calling Henry Sweetheart in Red White & Royal Blue.
And Henry calling Percy Darling like x1000 times in The Gentleman's guide to vice & virtue.
And Rhysand calling Feyre Feyre Darling in ACOTAR series.

I and my friends were talking about SnowBaz, that how Baz melts like butter under Simon's touch. So, I got this concept stuck in my mind. And I tried to draw and surprisingly it turned out better than what I expected. Still, it's not perfect. But Snowbaz feels makes the drawing Perfect.

A short spoiler-free review on Wayward Son.
The most awaited book Wayward Son starts with Baz worrying about depressed Simon, who constantly has negative thoughts on everything. Then Penny surprises them with tickets to fly to America. They find themselves excited to go for vacation to America. Little did they know that they're getting themselves into a big trouble with America's Magickal beings (Maybes).
I enjoyed this book as it had an exhilarating plot and wonderful, strong and brilliant characters( I missed them a lot).
Like the first book, this book was also written in multiple POVs.I enjoyed all of their POVs.
Simon, Oh Simon! He needs to figure out what's going on in his life and start clearing all the mess instead of hurting his friends and hurting himself in the process. The vacation helped him get out of his depression, at least. ( Thanks to Penelope).
I’d tie our hearts together, chamber by chamber.
And I love the writing style. It makes you unable to stop turning pages. The settings, spells, humour and the smartness of the plot are mind-blowing.
Okay then the vacation turned from escaping from magical creatures into a rescue mission to save their Friend Agatha. Finally, Agatha realising the importance of friends is my favourite part of the ending. And finally some badassery from her side.
I felt sad seeing Baz going through some issues related to his Vampirism. I liked everything (his style,his loving and caring nature, wits and action) about him.
“Why can’t you see that I wouldn’t be happy anywhere without you?”
Penny is such a strong and caring and brilliant character, she deserves all the happiness in the world.
Every SnowBaz scenes were cute, lovely and heartbreaking (in a good way) even when they're arguing with each other. I'm slightly disappointed that they couldn't clear/have a talk about their ship. (THANKS TO PENNY,AGAIN.)
Overall, it's a good read, adventurous and captivating book.
I rate it 4.99/5.
There are many scenes I loved so much. Baz and Penny's, Agatha and Penny's and the last scene of SnowBaz❤ It was totally enchanting.
SO when one is depressed, travelling/visiting places they love/ just going to vacation with their friends helps. *Friends are important part of your life. *Don't lose trust on yourself just because you were wrong once.
Now, the problem is I can't wait for 2 years for the next book. Aghh!!!

So excited for Wayward son, I'm not sure whether to pre-order it and read it first or order it lately and read it days after its release
Because when you read it first,you'll have to wait for years for next book.
