Imagine if Black Sapphire truly believes that the faerie cookies are horrible but pities Silverbell, and after seeing Shadow Milk manipulate Pure Vanilla, he adopts that behavior?
He manipulates Silverbell to join them, truly thinking what he's doing is right, because, the faerie cookies are evil! He's saving him.
