I have no mutuals on Tumblr... like a girl is lonely!!!! I'm just a girl trying to kiki about anime!!!! where are the shojo Stans who want to dissect the same one season of given or horimiya? where are the shonen divas that want to talk about JJK, Naruto, or BHA!!
SPOILER IMAGE AND I'M NOT SORRY This. I mean I read the whole manga in about five hours during the night and it was pretty much one of the most intense stories I’ve ever experienced. It could have been the fact that I read the whole thing straight or that I was already tired when I reached this point, because of the great thriller it builds in every single chapter, but when I saw this page I just cried. Like mad. And I was surprised because first, very few fictions makes me cry, and second I wasn’t expecting to like it so much, nor feel so relieved when this happened. I knew there was still time for things to go wrong and end up tragically but I still cried of joy. I don’t know, I guess I’m sharing this basically to point out that this story made me feel lots of things (other moments had as well but this was just the breaking point for me), and that I’m amazed at how great it was when I was just expecting an ordinary shojo like so many I’ve read before. Whatever, I’m just emotional shit right now ok

Got a new manga yesterday
It’s called “Don’t Call it Mystery” by Yumi Tamura and it is so good. I decided to pick it up because of
On YouTube because I’ve been actively trying to consume more shojo and josei lately. You all should check her channel out if you love shojo and josei. Or simply are looking for good manga recommendations. And I’m so glad I took her recommendation. As you can assume from the title it’s a crime mystery drama about a college student solving crimes, but takes a bit more serious approach to the concept of a young crime solver. It has multiple twists I didn’t see coming. And the art is so pretty. If you like realistic mystery crime dramas I suggest picking this up. And check out Colleen’s channel for more information about all kinds of shojo goodness.
