Well... That´s it I think.
How can you make me more gay. girls uhhhhhhh.
Adora makes Catra a Princess out of love and Glimmer makes Catra a Princess out of spite, but the result is the same.
Catra isn't a Princess? Adora can fix that easily by marrying her!
Glimmer even makes it a royal decree that Catra is offically a Princess just to make her even more annoyed.
There will come a soldier who carries a mighty sword. She will tear your city down, Oh-lei, oh-lai, oh, Lord.
There will come a poet whose weapon is her word. She will slay you with her tongue, oh-lei, oh-lai, oh, Lord.
There will come a ruler whose brow is laid in thorn. Smeared with oil like David's boy, oh-lei, oh-lai, oh, Lord.
“Some are born great,
some achieve greatness,
and others have greatness thrust upon them.”
― William Shakespeare, Twelfth Night
I feel ya on this. I watched all five seasons in a span of three/four days. Rewatching the series is kinda necessary to fully experience all elements of the show. I think I've watched it like five or six times at this point. The series really has so many layers to it and perspectives to watch it through. Because you are absolutely right that the series can be viewed as a comedy with drama rather than vice-versa as so many of the jokes and bits hit amazingly even in the most serious of episodes.
Also all of the rewatches are totally not because Catradora is one of my emotional crutches. And also not because of the autism. Neither of those are responsible whatsoever.
I feel like we moved on from She-Ra: Princess of Power too fast. Every time I rewatch it, it’s funnier than I remember.
