If there is one thing I hate homophobic people saying, it's that gay men are gross for having anal sex.

I get it, poop comes out of the anus. You sound like a 5 year old who just learned about sex: "ew, that's where you pee out of!".

Yes, the anus is "gross", just as many other parts of the human body are "gross". Genitals make pee, the vagina gets bloody every month, the mouth is a cesspool of spit and bacteria, skin is always covered in dead skin cells and makes sweat, but nobody ever complains about them being gross, because we have a novel concept called WASHING and HYGIENE. Homophobes always say that "it will never be clean, it will always be covered in shit", which is just plain untrue. It's fallacious and hypocritical to treat this particular part of the body any differently, and is clearly just an excuse to paint homosexual men as disgusting and degenerate.

And just to be clear, yes, I know that not all gay men have sex anally, and I'm not saying that everyone has to find it arousing themselves. I'm just saying that we really need to drop this stigma around anal.

CSE Post 1/2

The war on sex education is a heinous action that deliberately works to keep teenagers uninformed and without the resources necessary to make informed decisions.

The below text is from a pamphlet handed out by my grandma’s church to get their members to attend school board meetings to block Sex education.

Growing up queer without the words to express myself has caused so much pain and suffering. Please stand up against this.

15 Harmful Elements of CSE COMPREHENSIVE SEX EDUCATION THE HARMFUL EFFECT ON CHILDREN The following are 15 harmful elements typically found in CSE curricula. Since each of these 15 harmful elements has the potential of causing long-term negative effects on the health and well-being of children, having even one of these elements should be reason enough to disqualify a program from being taught to children. A program containing several of these elements should be banned from use in any school or community setting. 1. SEXUALIZES CHILDREN Normalizes child sex or desensitizes children to sexual things. May give examples of children having sex or imply many of their peers are sexually active. May glamorize sex, use graphic materials, teach explicit sexual vocabulary, or encourage discussion of sexual experiences, attractions, fantasies or desires. 2. TEACHES CHILDREN TO CONSENT TO SEX May teach children how to negotiate sexual encounters or how to ask for or get "consent" from other children to engage in sexual acts with them. Note: "Consent" is often taught under the banner of sexual abuse prevention. While this may be appropriate for adults, children of minor age should never be encouraged to "consent" to sex. 3. NORMALIZES ANAL & ORAL SEX Normalizes these high-risk sexual behaviors and may omit vital medical facts, such as the extremely high STI infection rates (i.e., HIV and HPV) and the oral and anal cancer rates of these high-risk sex acts. 4. PROMOTES HOMOSEXUAL / BISEXUAL BEHAVIOR Normalizes or promotes acceptance or exploration of diverse sexual orientations, sometimes in violation of state education laws. May omit vital health information and/or may provide medically inaccurate information about homosexuality or homosexual sex. 5. PROMOTES SEXUAL PLEASURE Teaches children they are entitled to or have a "right" to sexual pleasure or encourages children to seek out sexual pleasure. Fails to present data on the multiple negative potential outcomes for sexually active children. 6. PROMOTES SOLO AND/OR MUTUAL MASTURBATION While masturbation can be part of normal child development, encourages masturbation at young ages, which may make children more vulnerable to pornography use, sexual addictions or sexual exploitation. May instruct children on how to masturbate. May also encourage children to engage in mutual masturbation. 7. PROMOTES CONDOM USE IN INAPPROPRIATE WAYS May inappropriately eroticize condom use (e.g., emphasizing sexual pleasure or "fun" with condoms) or use sexually explicit methods (i.e., penis and vagina models, seductive role plays, etc.) to promote condom use to children. May provide medically inaccurate information on condom effectiveness and omit or deemphasize failure rates. May imply that condoms will provide complete protection against pregnancy or STIs.

CSE post 2/2

The below text is from a pamphlet handed out by my grandma’s church to get their members to attend school board meetings to block Sex education.

Needless to say this is bad and will cause so much harm.

8. PROMOTES EARLY SEXUAL AUTONOMY Teaches children they can choose to have sex when they feel they are ready or when they find a trusted partner. Fails to provide data about the well-documented negative consequences of early sexual debut. Fails to encourage sexually active children to return to abstinence. 9. FAILS TO ESTABLISH ABSTINENCE AS THE EXPECTED STANDARD Fails to establish abstinence (or a return to abstinence) as the expected standard for all school-age children. May mention abstinence only in passing. May teach children that all sexual activity-other than "unprotected" vaginal and oral sex- is acceptable, and even healthy. May present abstinence and "protected" sex as equally good options for children. 10. PROMOTES TRANSGENDER IDEOLOGY Promotes affirmation of and/or exploration of diverse gender identities. May teach children they can change their gender or identify as multiple genders, or may present other unscientific and medically inaccurate theories. Fails to teach that most gender-confused children resolve their confusion by adulthood and that extreme gender confusion is a mental health disorder (gender dysphoria) that can be helped with mental health intervention. 11. PROMOTES CONTRACEPTION / ABORTION TO CHILDREN Presents abortion as a safe or positive option while omitting data on the many potential negative physical and mental health consequences. May teach children they have a right to abortion and refer them to abortion providers. May encourage the use of contraceptives, while failing to present failure rates or side effects. 12. PROMOTES PEER-TO-PEER SEX ED OR SEXUAL RIGHTS ADVOCACY May train children to teach other children about sex or sexual pleasure, through peer-to-peer initiatives. May recruit children as spokespeople to advocate for controversial sexual rights (including a right to CSE itself or to promote abortion. 13. UNDERMINES TRADITIONAL VALUES AND BELIEFS May encourage children to question their parents' beliefs or their cultural or religious values regarding early sex, sexual orientation or gender identity. 14. UNDERMINES PARENTS OR PARENTAL RIGHTS May instruct children they have rights to confidentiality and privacy from their parents. May teach children about accessing sexual commodities or services, including abortion, without parental consent. May instruct children not to tell their parents what they are being taught about sex in school. 15. REFERS CHILDREN TO HARMFUL RESOURCESRefers children to harmful websites, materials or outside entities. May also specifically refer children to Planned Parenthood or their affiliates or partners for their lucrative services or commodities (i.e., sexual counseling, condoms, contraceptives, gender hormones, STI testing and treatment, abortions, etc.) Please Note: A conflict of interest exists whenever an entity that profits from sexualizing children is involved in creating or implementing sex education programs. (For more information on how Planned Parenthood sexualizes children for profit see www.WaronChildren.org and www.InvestigateIPPF.org)

I just saw an ad for “reusable period underwear”

What the fuck do you mean by that are you not reusing the underwear you use when you are on your period because I just checked in with my biologically female friends and they all agree that that is not in fact what happens

A love letter to sex education creators

So Sex Ed 2 was so great and wonderful and emotional and RIGHT

I love how they make everyone a real person, without resorting to stereotype characters. They show humanity in every one of them.

I love how they don't give you what you want right away. This show makes its characters grow and change.

I love how they show friendship and family relationships in all their complexity.

I love how they give me emotions and feelings without crushing my heart

I love how they give proper sex and love advice without being all preachy or pushy.

I love how with all its raunchiness the show is so heartwarming and wholesome

This show entertained me and made me feel happy. So thank you, creators of the show

Ps. The whole love-triangle thing you're trying to push between Isaac, Maeve and Otis is soo stupid. Everybody deserves a real personality and a storyline, even Isaac, why make him a paper cut-out guy-that-hampers-the-love-story-but-is-eventually-discarded?

Honestly any movie that portrays homosexuality in a sweet, loving, vulnerable light will 100% go into my favorites list.

thoughts on sex education season 3

two episodes in

im so here for otis & ruby, the relationship makes both characters more interesting and less unbearable, plus they are so much better than maeve & otis, i can actually ship them.

i love cal. i want to see more of them. it was heartbreaking to see the bathrooms aka their safe space being demolished.

since season one adam has been my favorite character (after maeve), and i’m so happy to see his development. he makes me go 🥺 every time he’s on screen.

eric and adam are so cute. i really hope they work out.

i’m glad isaac told maeve the truth, and while i like isaac i don’t think maeve will be with him. i don’t think maeve needs a love interest this season tbh.

i hope we get an aimee centered episode.

episode 3

sorry viv and jackson, i used to really ship you last season but now i’m cal and jackson all the way

viv is kinda annoying this season so far. it’s in character but like she used to be one of my favorites

i want to fight hope

why do i love ruby now

episode 4

okay i do like otis and ruby but why did this turn into their show? i want to see other characters more!!!

i can’t wait to see hope’s downfall. istg if she’s not gone by the end of the season i will riot.

i’m really liking maeve with isaac. their scene was so sensual and beautiful.

i just really hope otis and maeve both move on separately like they’re doing rn, and never get together. i don’t think they’re right for each other, and they’re just boring together.

ready for paris adventures yessss

episode 5

jean is a queen

jackson on a trip is hilarious

flying feces whyyy

i love adam sm

oh no the girls are fighting

not ola and lilly having a fight over aliens

oh no don’t tell me maeve and otis are gonna find some motel and there will only be one bed

i’m living for adam and rahim becoming buddies

jackson and cal 💔

maeve’s not here? kevin’s not here. KEVIN!

you tell him, maeve. otis sucked last season.

nononono. NOOO. disgusting. don’t kiss. stupid paris.

poor ruby 😭

episode 6

lilly backstory yesssss

vagina cupcakes I WANT

why is aimee the sweetest human being

i wonder if the season will end with maeve going away to the us

i’m so glad we’re seeing more of eric’s family

hope can die in a ditch. she would be a terrible parent considering how she treats her students. *me imagining violently smashing hope’s car to cope* who made this bitch an educator? is this allowed? IS THAT ALLOWED?! poor kids, they’re legit traumatized now

i’m sorry but with this crisis going on, i can’t care about some silly maeve and otis drama

otis DOES make everything worse. fuck otis. i don’t want to see him anymore either.

hell yeah viv. fuck that millennial bitch up.

no, eric, don’t just go away with some stranger. i’m scared.

why is everyone fucking cheating?! is it so hard to keep your tongue in your mouth?

episode 7

ahhh i love everyone working together

omg this bitch is absolutely unhinged

“sex free campus? people fuck in the bushes” is my favorite quote, thank you eric

ruby matthews is officially THAT bitch, she did what i wanted to do the whole season

sucking on my titties is the best anthem. i love this show.

cal and jackson are definitely my favorite ship this season, i really hope they work everything out

the way connor swindells portrays adam is incredible

i need jean to be okay

they’re each other’s mums stop i’m crying

i wish mr groff cared more about his son than about getting back with his wife, like he hasn’t even talked to adam this whole time or made any sort of effort

lmao not A RAIN KISS i can’t believe a ship i don’t care about actually get a rain kiss

the finale episode 8 let’s gooooo

lmao what is this mean girls moment

adam and rahim being besties is hilarious

i’m sad cal and jackson didn’t work out but i get it, i’m glad they’ll still be friends

the maureen and aimee goat adventures

my baby adam i’m- i can’t, why is he getting hurt

why did adam and eric have to break up

not otis building up this absolute bitch that should be in jail

SHUT UP he’s not the father?!

seeing adam happy is everything

proud of maureen for ditching michael

eric third wheeling in the tree house lmao

i feel like this season left everything disheveled, and i’m left feeling empty. it felt more like a mid season finale than a season finale. i enjoyed season 3 but i think i prefer season 2.

I Did Trin Lovell’s List, And Thought I’d Post It.

i did trin lovell’s list, and thought i’d post it.

tbh i was debating to put tvd in the death row bc i hate sm about it, but it was one of the first shows i ever watched and seasons 2&3 are genuinely good.

regarding the 100, i actually think the show itself is pretty great (seasons 1-4) but i just have too much pent up hatred towards it bc of bellarke (they literally made me wait 7 years for nothing) and b*liza (clarke and bellamy were my favorite characters and i can’t look at their faces anymore).

some of these rankings are probably gonna be surprising but i stand by them.

shows to watch if you loved IANOWT

Desperately need another season of I Am Not Okay with This? Here’s 5 shows to enjoy while you wait for season 2 announcement!

1. The End of the F***ing World

Shows To Watch If You Loved IANOWT

Okay, it’s an obvious one, given that it’s the same creators behind both shows. It’s even been stated that both stories take place in the same universe. Nonetheless, if you haven’t seen TEOTFW yet, what are you waiting for? There’re a lot of resemblances between characters, many parallels, and the show overall gives off a very familiar vibe. Relatable angsty teenagers, love, friendship, blood and crime. The only thing missing is perhaps superpowers.

2. Sex education

Shows To Watch If You Loved IANOWT

This show can totally fill the void in your heart left by ianowt. Sex education is an homage to John Hughes’ films. That’s why just like with ianowt at first you’re not sure whether the show is set in modern times or in the 80s. You can expect to see a lot of bright clothing, high school clichés, beautiful friendships, well rounded characters. Besides, the show has amazing lgbtq+ representation, well written poc characters, actual female empowerment. This show is definitely everything our generation needs. Not to mention, it is hilarious.

3. Everything sucks

Shows To Watch If You Loved IANOWT

This show unfortunately won’t entertain you for long as it was canceled after one season. However, if you want to watch a wlw relationship, this one’s for you. It’s a coming of age show, set in the 90s, about nerds and theatre kids coming together, and trying to figure out themselves and their place in the world.

4. Freaks and Geeks

Shows To Watch If You Loved IANOWT

Well, this is an underrated classic about outcasts in the 80s, that was also unfairly canceled after one season run. The plot is right there in the title. You follow the lives of Sam and his geeky friends, and his older sister Lindsay who’s trying to fit in with cool misfits. Ultimately, it’s a story about growing up (shocker), battling social norms and searching for your identity.

5. Stranger Things

Shows To Watch If You Loved IANOWT

With the same people producing both shows it’s no wonder they get compared. Stranger things has the same throwback aesthetic, although that might have something to do with the fact ST is actually set in the 80s. And even though scenery is what can attract ianowt audience to this show, the most evident similarity would have to be the girl with super powers. So if you liked ianowt for the supernatural aspect, stranger things has to be first on your watch list.

You don’t have to love abortion. You can dislike it. Maybe it even makes you sad. The way you view abortion is up to you.

And maybe if you don't like abortion, you spend your time advocating for proper sex education, access to birth control and other things that have been shown to lower the types of pregnancies that often result in abortion. That's fine.

But what you shouldn't be doing is disrespecting other people for having abortions. You can't take that choice away from people just because you don't like it. Your feelings aren't more important than anyone else's bodily autonomy.

You don't have to like abortion. But you definitely have to respect other people's rights and that includes their right to safe, accessible, abortions.

This has been a Certified Sex ED Post.

The History of Cock Sucking

Giving head has a long history. Whether it has been a taboo or not, the men have loved it, and there have always been ways to make receiving it possible.

The earliest recorded blowjob is documented in the Osiris myth around the 24th century BCE. In the myth Isis, Osiris’ sister and wife, finds her husband murdered and chopped into pieces by Set. Isis recollects his body parts and reassembles him. Unfortunately she is unable to find his penis. Thus she makes a penis from clay for him, places it into his crotch and resurrects him by “blowing the life into him” by sucking it.

In the ancient Rome, blowjobs were considered impure and dirty, and it was absolutely not acceptable that a Roman woman would perform a fellatio. It was believed that bad smelling breath was caused by oral sex, and thus anyone with a bad breath was frowned upon and not allowed to sit in the same table with the others while eating. However, regardless of it being a taboo, the Roman men loved blowjobs and deepthroat face fucking, which was called irrumatio in Latin. As it was impossible to perform this with the Roman women, they used slaves or went to a brothel (of which workers were usually slaves, of course).

A wealthy Roman man usually had several slaves, who had sexual obligations to their masters in addition to their their regular work duties. Irrumatio was also used as a punishment. If a slave girl owned by some other man caused trouble to some man, instead of killing or beating her (which of course would have resulted into monetary compensation to the master), she was irrumated – throat fucked – and returned to his master, who then probably gave her another punishment such as irrumating her again.

Nubian girls were favored as pleasure slaves by the Egyptians, the Romans and later by the Arabs, because of their exotic and mystical beauty. They were said to “seduce any man with their hazel-nut shaped eyes, flawless skin and luscious lips”, and that “a [Nubian] girl smearing man’s penis with oil and giving her mouth to it, makes a man naugh like a horny donkey, losing all his dignity”.

image

In the image: Nubian women were considered beautiful, exotic and erotic.

According to Roman and Greek text material, oral sex was practiced more freely in the city of Pompeii and on the island of Lesbos. In fact, the women of Lesbos had such a reputation in cock sucking (and also oral sex in general) that during the 3rd century BC some began to call fellatio lesbiari, which can translated “doing the Lesbos thing”. Some Romans believed, the eruption of Vesuvius and the destruction of Pompeii was a punishment of their unacceptable sex life, which included lots of cock sucking, anal sex and big sex orgies. Lately excavated frescos from Pompeii have a vivid depictions of these activities.

image

In the image: Pompeiian fresco.

In the Ancient Greece, cock sucking was referred as playing the flute, and it was not frowned upon similarly as it was in Rome. Greek men did not only practice it with the women, but also with other straight men, as well as their students if they happened to have them. There was a saying: “you make love with women, but have fun with men”. Normally these men were younger and hairless, and thus considered yet as “real men”.

The Indian elite men loved blowjobs, and they had numerous servant girls and eunuchs dressed as females in their harems just for that purpose. According to the Indians, the women of Saketa were natural born cock suckers, who didn’t hesitate to use their mouths to please men. The original Kama Sutra has an entire chapter of giving head. The blowjob was divided into eight parts, of which each must be performed as long as the man wants:

1) The blowjob begins from taking the cock into hand and moving the lips around his cock.

2) When given a permission, the next phase includes using lips and teeth to gently “press the sides” of the cock.

3) Next, the cock is taken into mouth and slided in and out with tense lips. This was called the “outside pressing”.

4) When asked to do so, the cock will now be taken deeper into the mouth, using lips to press the shaft along the way it goes in and out.

5) Next, the head of the cock is kissed passionately with lips and tongue

6) When asked, the cock is now licked wet from the shaft to the top.

7) Now, the head of the cock is taken into mouth and tongue and lips are used to intensively suck it.

8) When the master has enjoyed enough and wants to cum, he asks the sucker to swallow his cock completely. This of course means, that the cock was deepthroated until the master ejaculated into the mouth of the sucker.

image

In the image: An example from Kama Sutra.

Some odd, yet contradicting, beliefs were alive in the ancient China,  Early-Modern Europe and among some indigenous tribes of Papua. In China, blowjobs were accepted and not considered as a taboo, but ejaculating into someone’s mouth was strictly forbidden, as it was believed to weaken the man “through giving away is life-force”. This similar belief was alive in Europe, where ejaculation was strictly forbidden unless it was meant to impregnate your wife. However, in Papua, it was believed (and still is among some tribes), that the fertility is only acquired by ingesting semen. The more you swallow it, the more children you will have in the future.

Once I solved everything about this show, the two things that bothered me the most were Ruby and Otis whole thing about not saying ILY back at moment... Like I know they needed a reason to break them up so Maeve and Otis could happen, but honestly is so shitty to really break up about that, it was rushed and I didn't feel it natural. And then Otis and Maeve are still "in love" with eachother after not talking for months, they didn't have a lot of scenes in this season and in most of them Otis shows the emotional intelligence of a child. Maeve was right, Otis don't understand her, he understands a lot of things but he doesn't understand her completely. Otis is super awkward everytime he's around Maeve, while with Ruby he talks a little more. She urges him to be more open, she might even have helped him with the whole "therapy" thing but Otis never discussed it with Ruby. They could have been everything but they need more development, they needed to grow up together.

The second thing is Hope, I liked her at first, but I think calling herself a feminist and then saying that her "body doesn't do the only thing they have to do" irks me a little too much. Because I know that could be within the whole infertility plot they gave her, all the frustration and pain. The subject makes me a bit emotional, but I like that they included it ... However, Hope had a strange fixation on Cal, probably because it's for the sake of the plot, but she locks them in an empty classroom because they was wearing their uniform wrong. It's a lot for something minor like that, she could have created penalties for students who misuse uniforms, or something like that.

I think her actions are over the top for Cal's situation, compared to Adam and Lily, wearing the uniform a couple of sizes larger is not such a terrible thing or that it is of great concern. Also, I don't think Cal is the only person we see wearing the wrong uniform, Ruby always rolled up her skirt and Adam was always polished, but no one ever said anything to them. And even if Cal was the only one wearing the larger size uniform, she would have 99% of her students in perfect shape, she could leave it as a minor inconvenience, give them penalties. It was too much for so little.

Also it bother me so much how pleased she was after Layla, the younger NB character, said that they(?) was going to the girls room for the sex ed class.

So all these actions sound a bit strange to me, because it is a repetitive behavior that can be connected to what she believes. And I don't like it, that could mean she's transphobic. And I think the writers didn't write her to be transphobic, they just put her together and didn't notice her repetitive behavior with respect to the body that has a uterus and then the different gender entities.

These tow things have that in common, that the writers didn't plan it, but we noticed.

The rest was good, clearly Adam was the one who had the best development. Some people say it was Ruby, but I don't think so, I think we saw things about her that we didn't know before but we don't really know if she matured. Eric and Otis friendship is beautiful as always, same with Maeve and Aimee. But we also see some Ola and Adam, Lily and Otis, Ruby and her friends, Viv and Jackson ... They did great with friendships.

Yes there were bad things, like Otis and Maeve kissing when Maeve was with Isaac, Eric cheating on Adam, Jean not knowing who the father of her daughter is ... A lot of infidelity plot for 8 chapters.
