I drew this for an art trade with my sister! We both love mythology, especially dragons, so I drew a mermaid meeting a sea dragon. She drew me a giant octopus eating a ship ๐Ÿ˜

I had a lot of fun with this, especially the colors! ๐Ÿงก

Rare Feral Dragons

A Dragon is a Type of mythical monster of reptilian form. They are one of the most well known and diverse species out there. There are two sub-groups, Feral and Domestic. The term Dragon is the name of one classification of their species, as well as a general name for them.

Feral

They are highly protective over their territory, and they will defend it with their lives. They are fearsome beings, but they are fair. They will give you a chance or two to get out of their territory without harming you.

Amphiptere

An Amphiptere is a rare classification of Dragon that is characterized by having no legs, but a pair of wings. They often have a pair of horns and a spinal ridge, reaching the tip of their tail, ending in a sharp tip. They can come in earthy greens and browns, or in silver and white. Their eyes are almost always golden. They tend to stay in the middle of storms, where nothing can reach them. They have Blasts of focused electricity that are equivalent to three lightning bolts.

Sea Serpent

A Sea Serpent is another rare classification of Dragon that is characterized by having no legs, but instead fins. They often come in aquatic colors, such as blue and green. They have a dorsal fin that reaches halfway down their spines, and a pair of streamlined horns. They live in just about any ocean, but usually prefer the tropical waters. They are very adept swimmers, faster than a swordfish. They are also very agile in the water.

Union

Fate decreed they be joined. Fate doomed both of them.

*shamelessly posts art of ocs on a fan art account*

Last year I visited a museum where there was an ancient sceptre on display. On it was the carving of a bird and a fish pieced together by an arrow; apparently a symbol for the conjugation of two previously warring tribes.

I decided to borrow the motif for my two shapeshifter characters, make it into a twist on the "red string of fate" trope.
