Block @sublimewhispersbread they are a commission scammer. How do I know? This was sent to my art blog right after I used the general tags for artists on Tumblr and digital art and then immediately blocked my art account after I question them.

I’ve been getting quite a few request from supposed artists who want me to commission them for my story Burdens of the Soul on Fanfiction.net.
As flattering as this may seem, I can’t help but notice a few red flags. These artist always follow or favorite my story and talk about how much they ‘loved it’ but they are often extremely vague about it not even mentioning what they liked about story or don’t even mention tmnt at all. Plus, my story is nowhere close to being popular enough to be receiving the amount of commission messages that I’ve been getting.
I’ve identified at least one of them as scam artist not sure about the others. Here are samples of what I’m seeing in my ff.net inbox:
It’s really annoying getting these messages because it makes it harder to identify real artists who genuinely are seeking commission work.
Anyway, as a PSA, just make sure you do your homework on artists before hiring them for commission work to ensure you don’t get scammed.

People need to be aware of these Scams. I have had 5 so far with the exact same copy paste. There are people suffering. Best go through human aid and don't fall for these. These scammers are just another form of terrorist. Taking money that you might donate to aid organisations and effectively taking food/shelter/medical supplies from the hands of those in need.

SORRY THESE MIGHT BE SLIGHTLY OUT OF ORDER I just want to share this in case anyone gets something similar happening to them on discord (even not by me but someone else they know)
Apparently these scammers go through ALL lengths to make themselves look as legit as possible, they hack anyone in your friends list and basically claim to have false reported you. If you fall through and believe them they'll send you over to someone who claims to be one of discords employees and will BASICALLY in the end swindle you for money and to change your email and passwords on your account so they can hack into it. I AM SHARING because I want you all to be safe, cuz to the untrained eye you may not be able to tell right away these fuckers are scammers so, I just hope this helps, anyone that comes across this and- yeah. MY DISCORD GOT HACKED (And I got scammed)
Just wanna write this quick thing cuz its fucking 1: 30AM and i am SO TIRED from having to deal with random scammers and hackers all day pretty much but if anyone of you gets a message by "instaquarius" on discord THAT IS NO LONGER ME. THAT IS SOMEONE IMPERSONATING AS ME. PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR IT I AM BEGGING. JUST BLOCK AND MOVE ON. PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR IT. IT IS NO LONGER ME. SHORTLY AFTER THIS SHIT HAPPENED I TRIED TO DELETE MY DISCORD ACCOUNT BUT I DONT KNOW IF IT WORKED BUT HJSSBHBSHJDBJ ----------- TLDR:
A friend told me they falsely reported me cuz they got in contact with someone impersonating as me.
they gave me contact to a discord IT employee or whatever and go along, do whatever the IT says.
an hour or so later (cuz i couldn't figure out how to turn off 2FA cuz i was understandably panicking and what not and basically having a mental break down thinking i was about to be perma banned or some shit for something i didn't do)
dude asks for money and mickey ( @TheOnePhun211 ) my fiance and our friend @PilarFlorimonte was able to basicalyl realize the whole thign was a scam.
they changed my email and passwords and shit and i only just BARELY managed to delete both my alt acct and main one before they could do anything else.
deleted my massive(? ish server i had all my friends in and like- yeah. ------------- SO BASICALLY IF YOU GUYS ARE STILL BEING CONTACTED BY EITHER instaquarius ON DISCORD OR instaquariusvoice2.0 (or whatever I called that alt idk i only used that one for VC tbh) DONT EVEN MESSAGE THEM BACK JUST IGNORE. My new discord is TheRealestInstaQuarius211 (or just TheRealestInstaQuarius) and you should find me. AGAIN. for all your safety cuz I dont want anyone else being hacked. if you get a random message from instaquarius or any of my old accts saying: "they accidentally reported my account" or whatever. Someone accessed my Gmail 2 days ago, compromising my linked accounts like Twitter and YouTube. Here's how it happened, why I fell for it, and what you can learn to avoid making the same mistake:
The scam I fell victim to was a cookie hijack. The hacker used malicious software to steal my browser cookies (stuff like autofill, auto sign in, etc), allowing them to sign in to my Gmail and other accounts, completely bypassing my 2FA and other security protocols.
A few days ago, I received a DM from @Rachael_Borrows, who claimed to be a manager at @Duolingo. The account seemed legitimate. It was verified, created in 2019, and had over 1k followers, consistent with other managers I’d seen at the time n I even did a Google search of this person and didnt find anything suspicious.
She claimed that @Duolingo wanted me to create a promo video, which got me excited and managed to get my guard down. After discussing I was asked to sign a contract and at app(.)fastsigndocu(.)com. If you see this link, ITS A SCAM! Do NOT download ANY files from this site.
Unfortunately, I downloaded a file from the website, and it downloaded without triggering any firewall or antivirus warnings. Thinking it was just a PDF, I opened it. The moment I did, my console and Google Chrome flashed. That’s when I knew I was in trouble. I immediately did an antivirus scan and these were some of the programs it found that were added to my PC without me knowing:
The thing about cookie hijacking is that it completely bypasses 2FA which should have been my strongest line of defense. I was immediately signed out of all my accounts and within a minute, they changed everything: passwords, 2FA, phone, recovery emails, backup codes, etc.
I tried all methods but hit dead ends trying to recover them. Thankfully, my Discord wasn’t connected, so I alerted everyone I knew there. I also had an alternate account, @JLCmapping, managed by a friend, which I used to immediately inform @/TeamYouTube about the situation
Meanwhile, the hackers turned my YouTube channel into a crypto channel and used my Twitter account to spam hundreds of messages, trying to use my image and reputation to scam more victims
Thankfully, YouTube responded quickly and terminated the channel. Within 48 hours, they locked the hacker out of my Gmail and restored my access. They also helped me recover my channel, which has been renamed to JoetasticOfficial since Joetastic_ was no longer available.
Since then, I’ve taken several steps to secure my accounts and prevent this from happening again. This has been a wake-up call to me, and now I am more cautious around people online. I hope sharing it helps others avoid falling victim to similar attacks. (End)
(side note) Around this time, people also started to impersonate me on TikTok and YouTube. With my accounts terminated, anyone searching for "Joetastic" would only find the imposter's profiles. I’m unsure whether they are connected or if it’s just an unfortunate coincidence, but it made the situation even more stressful.
