Where Every Scroll is a New Adventure
I'm so happy I participated in Tamlin Week 2025! Though it was a *tad* rushed, this was the first event I've participated in by submitting something, and I'm so happy that I did :) This entire shabang was so fun, and I absolutely cannot wait until next year (though I know every week can be Tamlin Week in my head ;))
This was such a hit last year, and we had a seriously amazing Tamlin Week, so here are the Tamlin Week 2025 Statistics by mod Reyna!
First of all, this blog broke 500 followers during Tamlin Week! We officially have over 500 Tamlin stans! Our instagram account, @the.calanmai, broke 100 subscribers. Thank you all for the support, Tamlin Week literally could not exist without you!
In all, there were 269 submissions for Tamlin Week from a total of 78 participants. This was a 46.2% increase and a 62.5% increase, respectively, from 2024. Let's start breaking down some of those submissions!
Breakdown of 2025
2024 vs. 2025 Statistics
Shoutouts
Conclusion
Submissions Per Day
Day 7 had the most submissions, with 19% of the total (51 submissions), followed very closely by Day 2, with 50 submissions. Day 6 had the fewest submissions, with 9% of the total (24 submissions). The average number of submissions each day was 38 submissions.
Number of Submissions per Prompt
This year, we endeavoured to make the prompts for each day a little easier to use together, and people really took advantage of that! There is a huge spread across the board, with people utilizing the prompts on their own, as well as combining the day's prompts. Aside from the Free Day, the prompt with the most submissions was Dark Spring (29 submissions). The combination with the most submissions was Forgiveness/Change (24 submissions). The prompt on it's own with the fewest submissions was Chest (5 submissions), although most people seemed to enjoy combining it with the other prompt for the day, Biting.
Types of Fanworks Created
A majority of the submissions were fanfiction, which made up 43% of the total (115 submissions). The second most popular submission was fanart, with 36% of the total (98 submissions). Our miscellaneous category is 10% of the total (26 submissions), which is really cool! Quite a few people thought outside the box to make amazing submissions for Tamlin Week! This category includes playlists, videos, memes, and others! "Combinations" refers to submissions that combined a few of these types into a single submission.
Tamlin Ships Represented
Something that I have always appreciated about Tamlin fandom is how much content revolves around him as a character, and that is absolutely reflected in the breakdown of Tamlin ships that people made creations for. General Tamlin works absolutely dominated, making up 55% of the works submitted (149 submissions). Tamlin/Lucien and Tamlin/Rhysand are the most popular Tamlin ships submitted, with 11% (30 submissions) and 10% (28 submissions) of the total, respectively. There was a pretty even split among the other ships, and any ship with fewer than 1% of the submissions was combined in the "Other Ships" section. The diversity of Tamlin ships is really amazing, and pretty unique in Tamlin fandom!
I thought it would be interesting to compare Tamlin Week 2024 to 2025, and boy was I correct! Because there were so many more submissions this year that last year, to properly compare each category I calculated the percentage of the total for the year that each category represents, rather than using the total number of submissions in each category.
Number of Submissions per Day: 2024 vs. 2025
There isn't a whole lot to be gleaned here, since the prompts between years were different, so interest in submitting on each day is going to be different. There's still some fun stuff! There was a noticeable difference in the number of submissions on Day 2 between 2024 and 2025, with an 18% increase in submissions. In 2024 the Day 2 prompts were Poet/Warrior, and in 2025 they were Dark Spring/Spring Celebrations & Mythology. Dark Spring was a HUGELY popular prompt, which probably explains the increase.
Day 6, on the other hand, saw a 29% decrease in submissions between 2024 and 2025. In 2024 the Day 6 prompts were Dreams/Fairy Tale AU, and in 2025 they were Spy/Warband.
Tamlin Ships Submitted: 2024 vs. 2025
Now we're cooking! It's very interesting to see the changes in which Tamlin ships have become more or less popular in the past year. To better understand this graph, I've calculated the percent change in the number of submissions for each ship, depicted below. The ships that have a percent change above the 0 axis are ones that had an increase in the number of submissions about them, and the ones below the 0 axis had a decrease in the number of submissions about them. The further they are from the 0 axis, the more dramatic the change between the years.
I think the most exciting thing here is the dramatic increase in popularity of Tamlin/Eris, with a 160% increase since 2024! The difference was between 11 submissions this year and 3 submissions in 2024, but still a dramatic increase! Lucien isn't the only Vanserra that Tamlin got his claws into this year! The increase in both General Tamlin and Polycules makes sense, considering that one of our prompts was Platonics & Polycules this year. We love to see it though! Our boy deserves all the love he can get!
The decrease in most of the other ships from 2024 to 2025 really is interesting. The decrease in the "Other Ships" category also seems to indicate that there weren't as many wild Tamlin crackships this year as there were last year. What I read from this information is that more people were interested in creating non-shippy content for Tamlin this year than ever before, which again is super amazing! That's not something a lot of character weeks can say, especially in this fandom.
What's REALLY interesting is that the number of submissions for the three most popular Tamlin ships with a woman (Tamlin/Feyre, Tamlin/Briar, and Tamlin/Rhysand's Sister) had very dramatic decreases from 2024 to 2025, ranging from a 60% decrease for Tamlin/Rhysand's sister, to a whooping 87% decrease for Tamlin/Feyre. More on that later!
Types of Fanworks Submitted: 2024 vs. 2025
Once again, I've found that the most informative way to view the change in the types of fanworks submitted each year is through looking at the percent change. There was a 61% increase in fanart created this year, which is just astounding! Visual art is freaking HARD, and there was an incredible amount of it created for Tamlin Week this year! There was also a 61% decrease in poetry submitted for Tamlin Week in 2025, which is kind of a bummer. We still made up for it with plenty of other submissions!
Number of M/M vs. M/F Ships: 2024 vs. 2025
This is a new, possibly contentious analysis I did this year. I separated out ONLY the submissions that had Tamlin shipped with one other person, and counted what percentage of the total of those were male/male (M/M) ships, vs how many were male/female (M/F) ships. Essentially, are people shipping Tamlin more with men or women?
In 2024, there were roughly an equal number of M/M and M/F ships in the submissions. In 2025, we suddenly get more than twice the number of M/M ships as M/F ships, with a 35% increase in M/M ships and a 37% decrease in M/F ships. This fits with the data we saw above, where all the popular M/F ships in this fandom had a dramatic decrease in the number of submissions. This really is an amazing thing to see in a fandom so focused on heterosexuality and straight ships!
Every single person that participated in Tamlin Week is a hero to me. Most (if not all) of us have been harassed and called horrible names for liking Tamlin. Despite that, so many of you came together for this event, both by submitted creations, and by supporting each other. You are all the best!
That being said, we had some users go above and beyond for Tamlin Week! 19 tumblr users submitted works during both 2024 and 2025 Tamlin Weeks! Thank you guys so much for sticking around, and continuing to love Tamlin!
For the people who created 7 submissions (1 for each day), we have @copypastus, @mika-no-sekai-blog, @taymartiart, and @umthisistheonlyusernamenottaken.
With 8 submissions, we have @lzrsaugust, @spore-loser, and @thornsinwinter.
With 9 submissions, we have @claws-and-all and @songofthesibyl. With 10 submissions we have @matrixsss and @booksnwriting.
And the number one submitter for Tamlin Week 2025 was once again Zee, @sonics-atelier! We love you Zee, you're amazing!!
My conclusion is that we love you, Tamlin fandom is the best, and Tamlin Week is the best ACOTAR week! Mwah Mwah, you're the best!

I wasn't going to participate in Tamlinweek until I got the PERFECT idea for day 4 (on day 5...)
So, this is for @tamlinweek day 7- free!
And now, a closeup on the birds and squirrels hanging out in the hair-tree (they were my favorite part of this to draw.)
And I have to show the original drawing, which I made when I got jumped by the idea, and the only thing I had near me to draw on was a notecard- oh well!
AAAND that's it :)
I hope anyone reading this has a good day/night! 💛
Day 4 : Hair
Tampunzel!!!!! 🤭
I’ve been wanting to do this for the longest time because I call him Rapunzel. We do not acknowledge any hair cuts given to this male in acotar 🙅♀️ Long hair will forever be the superior choice 😌
I’ve had this sketch for a while now but unfortunately I did not have enough time or energy to execute the vision in my head 😭😭 sigh.

Lucien panted, wiping at his bloodied lip with the back of his hand.
Even with the combined efforts of the Illyrian forces and Miryam and Drakon's army, Hybern was still outnumbering them. Pathetically so. But even as his stomach roiled and his heart jerked, Lucien tightened his grip on his sword and continued onward.
If today was to be his last, he would fight like hell.
The hours bled into the next in a wild blur.
Foe after foe fell under his sword, and yet still more appeared.
A shrieking cry erupted from above, and Lucien was sent sprawling across the dirt. He instinctively turned himself onto his back, bringing his vambraced arms up into a cross just in time, the sound of talons against metal setting his teeth on edge. Lucien snarled, grappling frantically for his fallen sword with his free hand.
The harpy's wings beat at the air as it swiped madly at him. It was all he could do to keep a firm grip on its throat, pushing its gaping maw away from his face. His arms screamed under the effort. Flames would not deter the disfigured beast, no matter how intense, and soon he could feel himself weakening under the exertion of using his powers.
But then,
The groan of a war-horn.
It reverberated through his chest.
The beast was distracted by the sound too.
It paused in its attack, confusion marring its features. Lucien took advantage of its distraction, slithering his arm down towards his boot as quick as lightning and drawing out a hunting knife before ramming it into its throat, killing it instantly.
He clambered to his knees, crawling towards his sword with great panting breaths.
A second groan of the war horn. Then a third.
He twisted his head round, eyes straining.
It was- Mother and Cauldron above…
High on the cliff's edge...
It was Tamlin.
And- no, it couldn't be…
Autumn was there too, their scarlet banners whipping wildly from the steady flaps of the gryphon horde waiting in the skies above.
The sight was enough to bring tears to Lucien's eyes.
Tamlin wore no helm, and carried no shield. He wore no armour at all. Only his favoured cuirass and vambraces, made from supple leather the colour of the forest.
"Gods damned idiot," Lucien breathed.
Stupid though he was, Tamlin cut a formidable figure, flanked on both sides by the beasts and fae of Spring's army.
Along the cliff's edge, the warriors beat at their painted chests with throaty cries, their weapons shining in the sunlight. Lucien thrust his own sword into the air, screaming until it felt like his lungs would give out. Hope flooded his veins for the first time that day.
As Lucien watched, Tamlin raised one arm and the air seemed to freeze, every being coiled and prepared to strike. Then, with a sharp cry, he sliced his arm through the air.
Hundreds upon hundreds of shrieking gryphons dove from the skies, their talons glinting as they sliced through Hybern's army. Centaurs galloped down the ragged cliffside, brandishing wicked swords. Nymphs and dryads rode atop the backs of wolves and bears, daggers and bows gleaming in their hands.
And in the thick of it all, their High Lord.
For a moment he stood alone on the edge, his hair whipping like a golden silk about his face. Then he ran, leaping off of the cliff. At the last possible moment, Tamlin flicked his wrists, bending and shaping the land to his will.
Columns of earth and stone rose to meet his nimble feet. He swept through the battlefield, the dancing movements of his fingers sending devastating shockwave after shockwave through Hybern's forces, the soldiers flung in every which way into the neat paths of the diving gryphons.
In the sky behind him, Lucien could spot Rhysand flapping midair, caught in a trance.
Tamlin's arms rested lightly by his sides, then slowly, he began to raise them.
It was a quiet rumble at first, so soft he could barely feel it. But then the earth began to shake, in great waves of energy that pulsed and reverberated up from his feet to his chest. Louder and louder, a crescendo of pure noise. It rattled his teeth and sent his stomach lurching.
Then everything stopped. The battlefield froze, a thousand hearts barely daring to beat.
And then the earth split apart with a horrible, thundering crack.
Lucien stumbled to his knees, his ears ringing.
An ugly chasm tore across the battlefield like a gaping maw. Those of Hybern's men that weren't dragged into the chasm's depths were thrown violently through the air, where the gryphons awaited them.
Disjointed screams of pain echoed up, bloodied arms clawing at the earth, struggling to pull themselves free. The nymphs rode swiftly by, yipping triumphantly as they loosed arrow after arrow into their trembling hands. dropping them into the cool depths.
For Spring.
For all that Hybern had taken from them.
A laugh tore itself free from Lucien's throat.
Hybern would fall today.
Once and for all.

Feyre bargains for Rhysand's life.
But all magic comes at a price, some more costly than others.
_______________________________________________
“...Please. I will- I will give you anything.”
Tamlin raised his head at that, finally looking up from the pale corpse of Rhysand.
“Anything?”
“You’d best be careful.” Mor warned, stepping forward.
“Quiet.” He snarled, the single word cracking in the air like a whip.
Mor's lip curled, but then she dropped her eyes to the golden threads of magic twining between his fingers.
Pulsing. Rumbling.
Her fingers tightened around her blade, but not another word left her lips.
“Just bring him back.” Feyre begged, twisting her hands into Rhysand’s clothes.
“Please, just bring him back.”
Tamlin knelt beside the lifeless body of her mate. “Are you certain what you ask of me?”
Feyre stared up at him with wild, unseeing eyes. “I am. I will give you anything.”
“Do you swear it?”
“I do,” she whispered. Feyre looked up into Tamlin's face.
"I do."
His lips curled into a smile, and it was almost tender.
“I want the Night Court.”
“No!’’
“Feyre, don’t!”
Mor made to step between them yet again, but Feyre stopped her with a tattooed arm, blocking her path.
“Yes. I accept.”
Cries of dismay wrenched themselves from the throats of the Inner Circle, utterly hopeless as Feyre reached out her other hand; unblemished with nightly ink, clasping Tamlin's hand tightly in hers.
“It is done,” he murmured.
A shroud of smoke ensconced Rhysand’s body, lifting him into the air. Feyre cried out, stumbling back as the cloud swirled around him. A tendril of silver began to wind its way out of the cloud, twinkling as if it had been spun from the stars themselves. It reached towards Tamlin like a vine. He took it into his hand tenderly and it lay there, seeping into his skin until he glowed like a star.
And then there was utter stillness.
From the farthest corners of Prythian to the now crumpled wall, the wind rumbled with a single name…
Tamlin Silverthorne, the Stone-hearted, Killer of the Never-Fading-Flower, Protector of the Emerald lands,
High Lord of Spring and Night.

Chunky: Wow, look at that picture. Totally looks like Tamlin Chunky a little while later: *gasp* m u s t d r a w t a m l i n Also Chunky: Ok but HOW can I make this sad?
The evening primrose blooms at night can hold different meanings. It can represent fond memories or young lovers and is often the first spring bloom.
Thirteen primroses is considered to be lucky... More or less than that is bad luck. There are only 12 violet evening primroses in his bouquet.
In contrast, the late blooming aster, or Michaelmas daisy, whose name translates to star, was created by the tears of the goddess Astraea due to the lack of stars in the sky.
The purple aster is for royalty and it is often used as a symbol of farewell and departure. It can also symbolize renewal and the resilience of spring. Thank you to @mistandmemories and @jules-writes-stories for helping me come up with a flower for Feyre's representation.
Amaranth is the symbol of Artemis, the huntress and a representation of unfading affection and everlasting love; And in my interpretation, Amarantha is a ghost that will always haunt him.
He wouldn't have her so she tainted his first love(Tamsand), and his last (Feylin).

Here is a link to (hopefully) better quality on Ao3
Upon further review I don’t think that’s actually the case lol but we tried.
i literally don't have time to do a better job of this
This is so cool!!! Thank you for making this! :)
I added the OC I made (a long time ago) of myself in ACOTAR. Tamlin is so done with the amount of energy I have for killing as an extrovert (I wish I had any energy in the real world, as an introvert.)
Now who to make Tamlin spend time with next... *cackles madly*
To encourage and celebrate fandom creativity this @tamlinweek i made a PICREW!
Here's to you, TamlinxOC enjoyers! Take a picture with Tamlin!
Some tips on how to use it under cut:
If a body part has a "move" icon, it means it can be moved around. Keep in mind to get the details just right!
Arrow buttons move the parts around, rotation arrows tilt them. Reset button returns it to the default setting.
When picking eyes and pupils make sure you pick the ones facing the same way.
When making a haircut you can either use a short top part, then add hair strands and/or long hair OR create the top part out of top hair and bangs.
If you wish to make a new character and want to reset all the parts, go here.
"Reset all" will reset everything to the default setting. Randomiser buttons will make cursed creations. Have fun!
me and @highlordofkrypton got together to form an idea (HER IDEA). which i should tell everyone now is not something to be encouraged, else we create something like this: im not even going to warn you
Just thinking that the worst villains are the ones who believe that they are good, and so any actions they take are good- because they're being done for a good cause. Rhysand and his whole IC (but mostly Rhys) are shown as the "good guys" of the entire series apart from ACOTAR, and Rhys is always the one making the decisions for Feyre and his court. Idk, just some food for thought. This probably will make no sense to me in an hour.
I made my OC using @copypastus's Picrew that they made (Picture with the High Lord | Picrew - The Character Maker & Creator) He's a litle like Amren but was confined to the CoN (why he's so pale) and he's very happy to be out (especially at this time of year lol)
Luke Eisner- Tamlin
Age- 26
It is my dream for Luke Eisner to play Tamlin. This beautiful, ethereal looking man was the best thing to come out of the monstrosity that was the Tall Girl movies. This man is so hot and talented, I am partly convinced he actually is fae. Although he only started acting recently, I think he would be a perfect fit for the High Lord of the Spring Court.
no, this isn’t me talking about how he was done so mfing dirty and i would defend him, BUT
He plays FIDDLE
not violin
like there’s a difference between a posh traditional ballroom music (no hate to violinists) and the inherent community that comes with folk music (the fiddle is a folk instrument) and like it’s not a big thing
but
tamlin was the son of a high lord he hated
he’d do the more ‘common’ instrument out of spite, out of defiance, out of something to separate himself from them and pull himself closer to the common people who he likely preferred being around
because folk music is something to dance to! It encourages community, it would be done at taverns and town squares, in festivals for people who wouldn’t hear ballroom music, much less attend fancy balls or soirées for violin music
and there’s something there
something something being taught a more common style of music by maybe a more common person (because folk is an incredibly oral and aural tradition, more passed down than written down) in defiance to a high lord and high society who gave him an instrument that they want used for ‘proper’ and fancy music
