Just came back from band practice a while ago and notifications started pouring in. Seeing all my favorite LotF artists and enjoyers I've been looking up to for months interact with my posts is honestly heart warming.

Never thought I would finally have enough courage to post, getting such a positive outcome yesterday is SO motivating. I promise I'll post more!!!!!!!!

I finally drew Ralph for my centaur au. He is the farmer that takes Jack back to his tiny farm once he's too old for the breeder centaur farm he was already in.

Well guys, I finally finished the character sheets. I did get lazy at some points during this and do apologize, but whatever.

I didn't exactly know how to draw a 'sweatshirt' on Maurice, but I had a couple ideas for him to keep the layered clothes idea still in the concept. Decided to not do that after struggling for days.

For Roger, I honestly just had no idea what to do with him.

Also, after looking at it, Ralph looks too Asian for his own good (he will NOT have a gyatt like Captain Curly)

Ok, so, obviously they wouldn't put 12yo's on a spaceship, so they'd be adults for obvious reason. I also feel like, for the game part, it'd try to be as canon to the game as possible as well as keeping the lotf character personalities so it could be a 'successful' au

Character thoughts:

Curly- Ralph, mainly because of the whole 'chief thing' and the very high chances of Jack wanting Ralph to burn

Jimmy- Jack, because of the subtle envy of his captain friend and lack of wanting to take things serious

Anya- Simon, because on the island he would help the littluns and such. I don't believe he would get S/A'd on the ship though, I'll think of another death for him

Swansea- Roger, because he's so serious, maybe even more than Swansea

Daisuke- Maurice, cus he also has one braincell. Also because of the fact that Maurice and Roger would have the same 'tough' friendship, like on the island

I am aware I did not list Piggy anywhere, but if Piggy and Jack were in an enclosed space together for a year- the story would end WAY earlier!!

Ralph still thinks Simon's alive, so I drew Ralph having mental hauntings of Simon in his sleep, then crying about it later to Jack.

I spent too long on the first drawing, that my iPad went to 10% by the second drawing. So it's just a stinky colored sketch

Ngl I was gonna do smth way worse but I feel like it would've been too harsh

My oc is literally just me but if I was crusty, British and if I was on the island😵😵‍💫. I actually have dyed hair, but I have a feeling nobody would have dyed hair during WWll, so yeah.

I hate how my color palette and Ralph's are so similar, I'm not the best😭😭😭

His name is my name, but I've always called him Little Guy [despite not being so little]

He was part of the choir, but he sucked at being a hunter so much [didn't want to put on the face paint cus it was pigs blood, couldn't catch pigs good and kinda just was bad at hunting in general] that Lil Guy was the person that Jack punished and eventually got beat for everything he didn't like.

Eventually he had enough of it and switched over to the shelter side where Simon and Ralph was, but suggested not to sleep alone for a while.

I do feel like this drawing takes place post island, because of Ralph's slenderness and Jack's not so slenderess

@lotftober2024 DAY 10: headcanons

I was gonna draw more better drawings, but shit has been dissing recently😔 and so I got lazy and just drew a couple things instead

[bruising and e.d ahead]

Drawing 1- Simon's half French on his mother's side🇫🇷, his accent doesn't come out unless he's loud or yelling. He does fumble a handful of times. Ralph learned French so they could have 'secret bestie conversations'

Drawing 2- Ralph's older sister Sabrina. Looks just like Ralph, but she's about 2-4 years older than him

Drawing 3- what I personally think Ralph [and some other boys] on the island would look like by the time they got saved. Ralph would have a bruise/mark from when Jack hit him on Castle Rock, but it would eventually heal. I feel like he would have 'leader's' guilt and during his time on the island, make sure everybody else on the shelter side is fine first before taking care of himself, making a very bad habit and wearing himself out and starving himself before the hunters can in the end. Once rescued and everyone [including him] is able to get taken care of, that habit of taking care of others would stick with him, causing him to not eat as much and being too uptight when it came to facing his problems.

So, people usually think that Jack is the 'abused one at home', from what I've seen on the internet. I kind of think Jack is a whiny bitch✋🫠🤚Still love him, though.

One of my [very early and needs to die and rot] headcanons for Ralph I that his dad is nice, but [because of the creative liberty] Ralph's overly christian mother isn't as good a a person she needs to be. In the drawing I drew, Ralph's wearing his older sister's dress, bu then got in trouble for it

I came up with all these headcanons for lotf but I think I need new one cus now they're kinda getting out of hand

Also I know that Jack and his tribe eventually have their hair tied up near the end of the story so I like to imagine Bill with pig tails.
