⟅01.10.2024 — vou confessar algo: eu nunca vi esse anime/mangá :) não é por mal, eu só tive raiva de algumas coisas mas eu não tenho nada contra (inclusive amo o design de personagens dessa obra) e sobre a capa, não vai dar pra reparar MAS eu tentei fazer um tipo de colagem :') eu tentei, eu tentei rs (a qualidade ta um fiasco e eu não sei pq, não sei se vou doar ela, provável que não)

Do you ever just decide to rewatch something that you used to love growing up and immediately regret it when your 3 episodes in cause it’s not the same now that you’re an adult??
I ask this, cause I recently rewatched some Inuyasha episodes for nostalgia purposes and woo boy is it different than I remember. Like, for one thing I don’t know how I watched the dub as a kid, second of all I don’t remember most of the characters being so unlikable.
I used to love Shippo, but now he just comes off as an entitled brat that I personally can’t stand. Inuyasha’s whole thing is rather confusing to me. And Kagome I never liked growing up. I still don’t like her, but I’ve since realized that has more to do with how much she just doesn’t fit into the story and how much of a nothing character she is. Miroku and Sango and pretty okay still, but I often forget they’re there.
There’s also not much in the way of world building, which sucks! I’d love to learn more about demon hierarchy and how it would differ from the human hierarchy. Just more demon stuff that isn’t just fighting! I get that it was a romance anime, don’t even get me started on how much I despise that aspect of the show, but that doesn’t mean that it had to lack in everything else!!
I just wish there was more!
