Lmao, some people clearly haven't been in a lot of fandoms before, because shipcest has existed since the beginning of the fandoms in general. And with the source material as old and as popular as Warhammer, duh, of course there are going to be people shipping incest. Hell, in some cases, it's even outright canon.
(The art OP in the screenshots is referring to I actually a perfectly cute and SFW art of fem!Perturabo and fem!Rogal. Like it's genuinely an adorable and perfectly harmless little butch4butch comic, kudos to the artist :'3)
Luckily, people in the replies are mostly going "Well, duh, it's been there for a long time, especially with the canon Primarchs))
I laugh at the double standard, how some 40k fans are so anti Primarchcest and make sure to state their hatred and shame/attack the shippers... But then worship artists like Ginnias, who arguably ships something worse, from the antis' point of view: Horus x Emperor aka dadson/parent-child incest. And it's not like it's hidden from the public, they (Ginnias) are pretty open about their ship. But antis still love and use their art, interact with them and generally don't bat an eye 🙃 Why is shipping brothers worse than shipping actual father and son together? Double standard much?
(Both are good, just making it clear. You go Emperor x Primarch x Emperor fans!)
And that is not to mention all the equally talented artists that also ship Primarchcest, but, apparently, their art is so good, people just... Try to ignore the ship arts? (For example, that one Roboute artist, who also ships him with Lion. Saw their nonship art used in the lore video, lmao)
Anyway:
Tis a bit of pet peeve of mine, but, as far as I can tell, the anti ship situation in 40k fandom is not that bad compared to uhm... Other more mainstream fandoms. You know which ones I'm talking about, right? But it's still a shame that there even is such a thing, considering how messed up the source material is.
