I think John gets irritated during the Spring because of those damn bees and their damn pollen.
And he loves plant-life, he truly does. He’s even thinking about making his own garden one day and having a whole section dedicated to a different array of flowers, but the Spring season always makes him rethink that decision because of how deadly pollen is to him. One speck of it and he’s a sneezing, red eyed monster.
(Nik likes to make fun of him for it, but they both know that as soon as he steps foot outside during the Spring, he has a runny nose and puffy, irritated eyes.)
