So I just rewatched Endgame

This time in german and watching it the first time around in english I didn't realise that Natasha said "see you later guys" before they did the time jump (it's a rough translation from german because I can't remember what she said in the original) and it tore my heart to shreds.

Why do you have to do this to me Marvel?

Why do I feel like the gathering of all the badass females in the end battle is a tribute to Natasha? It's so great to see all this and how they all collectively protect Peter and the gauntlet and I want a movie with all of them.

Natascha deserved it that they show her funeral and all she got was a short mourning scene and a few words, they better remember her forever.

Did you see that? Now he does not only have a variety of dads (we are not talking about the fact that he just lost the most important one) but also so many moms and I am here for it.

I am not okay with this why did it have to end that way? Peter finally got affection from his father figure and Tony showed him how much he missed him and appreciates him and then HE DIES AND NO! I AM NOT OKAY WITH THIS.

I am so glad I got to watch these movies and see the Tony Stark character ark and it was SO GREAT. He did not deserve all this and, oh god I'm crying again.

Loki Theory

We all saw Loki try to stab Thanos with his left hand, yeah? Well, Loki is right handed. His clone is left handed. Stick with me here. We saw in Dark World that Loki’s clone could be manhandled and thrown around if he wanted it to be. We all watched him get strangled by Thanos. If that was Loki’s clone then Loki wouldn’t have been dead. To reinforce his “death” the ship was blown up and destroyed. So that, surely, would have killed him. Well, no. I think that as Thanos beamed away, Loki might have hitched a ride. He had to go unnoticed so he might have morphed into a rock or something I guess. So Loki escaped death and found some way to evade Thanos. In the end though... I think the snap killed him. He was fine and dandy, trying to find Thor somehow. Then POOF... Then everything will get fixed and he comes back. So yeah

Why didn't they just go to Wakanda in 2018 and rip the gauntlet off Thanos, since apparently it doesn't matter if your past selves see you anyway.

Natasha actually didn't die. She just turned invisible. She was there the whole time we just couldn't see her.

I used to tell myself that I can't die because I have to see Endgame but now that I've seen Endgame there is nothing left to live for

How endgame could've ended

IM WARNING YOU

I literally started balling when Tony died, but then when Steve didnt bring him back I just.... UUGGHHH. So I wrote my own ending to cure my sadness.

Steve gets sent back to return the stones but this time he ACTUALLY saves Nat and Tony. So while Hulk, Sam and Bucky are panicking you just see Steve and Tony walking side by side talking about what ever. Tony is still pretty beaten up but he looks happy. Steve looks over at the Hulk, who asks "how did you do it?". Steve only smiles and says "dont think I'll tell you". Nat joins them with Clint and the others, then they just have a nice time being buddies. THEN ROLE CREDITS. I really wish this is how it ended but at least Sam is the new Captain america and spidey gets another movie. Either way I loved endgame so much

Endgame Spoilers

Steve chose Sam over Bucky because he has the better ass.

Avengers endgame spoilers for cap, Bucky, Sam and thor.

For anyone who hasn't seen Endgame,turn back now because I'm going to spoil a lot of stuff concerning characters and where I think they'll go from here.

Captain America: so as to why Cap decided to go back in time and marry Peggy. One, travelling back to 1970 and seeing her again. Two, the final fight with all the avengers made him realize that even if he were ever killed, they'll still be heroes so that's why he decided to go back because unlike before, he's not needed.

Now as to why Cap chose Sam over Bucky. To the outside world, a lot of people still view Bucky as this cold blooded killer instead of thr victim he really is. While unfortunate, the ugly truth is that a lot of people simply wouldn't trust Cap Bucky. Though I think it's best that Steve didn't give the mantle to Bucky. Remember, Bucky has been a slave to Hydra for decades now and only recently is he a free man. He's still trying to figure out who he is so Cap forcing the mantle down on him when his feet aren't on the ground wouldn't be fair to him. Finally, Bucky is a soldier not a leader. He's always in the fight but he's never the one to lead it.

As for Falcon, him helping Cap take down Hydra has probably earned him a few respect points along with having a military background as well. Additionally, his lighter and more social personality compared to Bucky is more suited for the role of the role of Captain America. I'd argue that the symbol of captain America is just as important if not more so than captain America himself.

Now I do think cap and Bucky probably discussed it with each other and Bucky does agree and respect Steve's choice.

Thor: man, seeing Thor like that was really damn depressing though it makes sense when you stop to think about it. He lost his mom, his brother (twice), his dad, his home, a large chunk of his people and blames himself for the snap. He locks himself away because in his eyes he views himself just as responsible for all those deaths as Thanos is. Thanos is so triggering to him because it reminds him of his greatest failure. No wonder Cap let himself go.

As for Thor post endgame well it's gonna be interesting seeing him in Asgardiand of the Galaxy especially when he's more powerful than all of them combined. While I was kind of hoping Thor would stay King it makes sense as to why he joined the guardians instead because he's more of a hero/adventurer than a king.
