I felt like killing Artemis to please my inner dark soul

I'm nothing of a writer but I tried to make it better by drawing the scene lol. Also this has blood & a gunshot so: TW

Butler could feel himself panic seeing Artemis lying on the ground, covered in blood with a deep whole right in the middle of his chest. Butler collapsed on the ground, sitting next to Artemis. His hands were on his chest and he was fighting for air. Butler put his hands on the wound and pushed with all his strength knowing it wouldn't help. A flood of blood strated flowing out of his mouth and nose, sliding down and covering his eye. Artemis' eyes widened with fear at the sight of his own blood. He looked in to Butler's eyes, hoping he would save him. He searched in them all he could but all he found was pain. He thought about the times when breathing was so easy, now taking each breathe felt like carrying a weight.

He mumbled a "Domovoi" before he found himself not having the strength to take another breathe.

He didn't want to die, but he did. Right then and there, as he was still gazing in to the eyes of the person he sacrificed his life for. He still had a look of fear in his face. A look that would haunt Butler forever.

In case it wasn't clear Artemis took a bullet for Butler. :D

Just Artemis and Holly doing a little trip down memory lane, to the oak tree where they first met ^^

I will definitely finish this one at some point, I really like the idea.

I want to have fun with the coloring, I want to add a lot of fireflies ✨ I was also thinking of adding Butler chilling either in the foreground or in the background, because 1) he was there too and it’s as much his memory as it is Artemis and Holly’s 2) I don’t want the drawing to have romantic undertones (because that’s just not how I personally see Artemis and Holly) and I feel like Butler’s presence would help in that regard ? Also I just need to draw this lovely big man more ^^

For the wip ask game: I saw Daemons on the list and actually made an audible sound of interest, so may I hear more please? :3c

It was actually a drawing I started working on after having so many delightful conversations about a daemons AU with @bittersuite-iv ; I never went past the sketching phase, mostly because the size disparity between Butler and smol Artemis and Juliet was giving me too much trouble :’) And also because I was struggling with drawing Butler, I feel like I should completely rework his silhouette to make him more buff, right now he looks completely off. Fun fact, instead of finishing this fan art I did my breakfast one instead ^^” Maybe one day I’ll find the courage, and revamp and finish this.

The plot : Juliet and her monkey daemon have been up for mischief. Artemis and his daemon have been pranked, Artemis is very upset. Butler is not amused.

I do like some of the details on this one, especially Juliet and Artemis’ daemons and their expressions ^^”

☕️ Breakfast in 1994 ☕️ Just a chill morning at the staff kitchen in Fowl Manor 💜 It's been a while since I've drawn our dear Butler. The truth is @iesnoth's design is so perfect to me that I really struggle to come up with something that feels true to him and also like my own thing. It's still a bit of a work in progress but I do like this version :) Also even though the lighting is completely off, I'm still proud of the stained-glass window ✨ I've never really done intricate background details before, but I've developed the firm headcanon that Fowl Manor is overflowing with Art Nouveau/Art Déco architectural nods and so I just had to get out of my comfort zone.

Anyhoo. Look, they are happy 🥰

Juliet would obviously be very much into Chappell Roan, and I suspect Butler would too. But I feel the one song that Artemis would really tolerate being blasted full force during car rides is 'Good Luck Babe'. Because there's NO way in hell he resists the chance to sing-yell 🎶✨"I TOLD YOU SOOO"✨🎶 at the top of his lungs like the petty princess he is 💅🏻

Spring 1991. Happier times ✨

I wanted to draw something that felt warmer and more wholesome after my previous attempt at a ‘’big’’ piece. Not very happy with this one, I think I was a bit too ambitious for my skill level lol. I definitely could have worked on it more but I decided to call it quits anyways ^^’ Edit to add - one thing I'm very proud about - I drew the piano without any reference picture o/ For no other reason that I couldn't be bothered ahem, and the proportions are a mess compared to Angeline, but still ! *pat-pats on my own back*

First time trying a big piece on procreate, i’m glad I went for a monochrome so I could work on my (non existent) shadows skills. I don’t draw scenes like this very often even on traditional media so I’m quite happy with how it turned out.

Sorry for the angst, mental health is a sh*tshow right now 🫠 So i’m torturing my favorite characters because i’m a terrible person ✨

Here’s Butler. Not convinced yet by the design, but i’m very happy with his color palette. I love him dearly… He should fear me.

This could be Butler's Tinder (or Badoo because he's a little bit of a boomer) profile bio. If that's the case, I reckon Juliet wrote it, in fact she probably created his profile and he isn't even aware. Whatever this is, I find this combination of three words is actually a very accurate description of him.
