Some silly little headcanon about Ginger!

Ginger is jealous of Cosmo and Sprout. She is jealous of the fact that they are so much more than she’ll ever be… Because, no matter how many times she tries, she is always just a background character.

She is not a main character, she is not a normal character that gets enough screen time. She is the background character who is considered lucky if she has at least ONE line in one episode that isn’t about Christmas.

Ginger is just the cousin that you see on holidays and never again. She is not as loved as Sprout or Cosmo are. And she thinks she will never be loved that much because she is just some background character, lucky to not have been forgotten by the creators of the cartoon.

She could have hated Cosmo and Sprout because of that jealousy, but she doesn’t. She’s happy that they get all the love every toon deserves (and even more)! But she’s still jealous and sad about her destiny.

So every time she gets ANY screen time, she tries her best to impress everyone. She tries her best to impress the audience, so she wouldn’t be forgotten.

But this is probably very OOC behavior for her, so consider this more as an au thingy😔

Toodles would show this to Glisten to ask him if it’s beautiful and the zesty mirror would tell her that it’s incredibly stunning and gorgeous💖

I have a headcanon that Roger has a special drawer JUST for Toodles’ drawings (but some of these drawings are hung up on the fridge, lol). And I think that sometimes Toodles just eats the crayons

So in the rp world (or whatever it’s called) there is a board in Glisten’s room. I know it’s just a decoration and it probably doesn’t have a meaning BUUUUT…

What if this is some kind of a motivation board? Like, we know that Glisten is literally obsessed with being perfect; I also think that he wants to be a main toon. And children drew a lot of drawings of the main toons and gifted those drawings to them…

I think that Glisten just looks at these drawings (which he probably stole) everyday and says to himself something like: “you have to be perfect”, “you’ll get a drawing of yourself only when you’re 100% perfect”, “others won’t like you if you’re imperfect” and etc.

I told this to my friend and now we both can’t stop thinking about that😭

instead of cosmo and ginger giving a pastry to heal, they give a literal piece of themselves because they give their heart to someone else

i dont see the toons to be actually made out of what they’re based off of, i think theyd be made of a hard plastic or something like that (except vee, connie and finn). putting that in mind, it would probably hurt them a fuck ton since they have to rip a piece out of themselves in order to help others

i also feel like sprout would refuse heals from them (even if hes on like the brink of death) because he doesn’t want them to hurt themselves for him

also also, to add to cosmo lore, i feel like ginger wouldnt use her ability unless its a life or death situation, whereas cosmo is more reckless with it (giving his hearts out to people with two hearts when he’d be at one, refusing medical items even though he needs them, etc)

personally I think he’s just stupid and clumsy so he fell and crashed face first into the wall or something and got it knocked out idk 😋

we like to think that, one day on a fishing trip (with shrimpo ofc uwu), finn caught a fish waaaaaaaaay too big for him that actually ended up taking the both of them to bring it out of the water, unfortunately during the process the giant fish decided to jump hitting finn right on the mouth and making his tooth fall off x3333. I also like to believe that when he tells this story to the other toons none believe him, they all immediately assume shrimpo is at fault qwq

ive been thinking abt a craft siblings headcanon…

so basically, Scraps and Goob weren’t made together as siblings, but Scraps actually created Goob with a bit of help (btw this is before the closing of Gardenview!)

when Goob had never existed, Scraps only had that one room to herself. Scraps didn’t have any buddies to show her crafts to. well, maybe she had a few friends to show them the crafts but they didn’t like those sort of things. so, Scraps came up with the ingenious idea to make herself a brother! but how would she do that? well, Toons have been taught that they were made from ichor. and with this info, Scraps had the perfect plan to get a brother

STEP 1: design. there were a few different design prototypes (eg that one scrapped Goob design). after a while, Scraps had settled on a friendly and huggable design

STEP 2: naming. it took a few tries and some advice from friends, but Scraps chose the name “Goobius Gooberton,” aka Goob for short (correct me if im wrong)

STEP 3: the actual model. now that Scraps knows what Goob will look like, she now has to create the body her brother will be in. Scraps came into contact with Poppy to get Boxten to help her with making the body function

STEP 4: bring it to life! this has to be the hardest part. how will Scraps even get the ichor? well, dandy sells practically everything. but would he sell the exact substance that brings Toons to life? unfortunalely for Scraps, no. BUT Dandy told her that his Toon handler knows the founder of Gardenview, so he will see what he can do…

finally, after weeks of waiting, Dandy had got his hands on some ichor! it was stored in a syringe. Dandy stated that it might or might not work first try. and before Scraps left, he added that Toons aren’t solely created by injecting ichor into an inanimate object, so when Goob comes to life he ‘might not be perfect’

so yeah i think that’s a cool headcanon. if there is anybody who has a hc similar to this, I DID NOT COPY THEM!!! and it has just been a coincidence. also thx for reading if u made it this far :D
