The footsteps of the council thug faded to echoes as he retreated to tend to his wounds. 

Whirl didn’t stick around to hear it.

 As soon as the bot had turned, Whirl was on his pedes punching in the code to his habsuit. Once open he rushed inside, cradling Tailgate in his arms.

Gears and springs joined the shattered furniture strewn across the floor as they were swept off the bench to make room for Tailgate’s frame. Whirl was loath to let to minibot go, but he laid him down anyway. Cyclonus was still laying prone in the hall, he was still in danger.

Back in the hall Whirl heaved Cyclonus up, claws hooked carefully under his shoulders to avoid aggravating any wounds. Cyclonus was a big mech, but Whirl was able to drag him into the hab before he barricaded the door. As it stands, Whirl was more useful to the council if he could throw around his own weight and then some.

Hrrmmm, that joke flopped like a fish out of water.

Edit: 3 o'clock brain struck again, I have edited it a bit for clarity but there is only so much you can do with horrible writing X)

I thought that hasn’t let me alone for a bit is that a tfa Whirl would still be under the thumb of the high council, and, well, to keep him there they would need to provide..incentives

Have I mentioned my love for the fact that people take time out of their day to sit down and figure out how to draw tf characters in the different styles the franchise has used over the years? No? Well, now I have! 

Have some movie night cywhirlgate, because the world needs more of that
