Leftist who Socially policing flawed (marginalized) people / content creators online up to the point of practically trying to ruin their livelihoods, isnât Liberation, itâs harassment and just makes you not only expose your internalized classism but a bully who loves to create drama for personal gain.

no itâs not. like i totally get saying this when youâre from an alt community or have an unconventional hobby and want to have fun, more power to you, but cringe culture literally never died. in fact, in the past few years, itâs actively been getting kinda worse
i remember back in 2016 at the peak of âcringe cultureâ that it was still very easy to avoid. cringe was a genre that could be filtered and blocked. you could stop watching leafyishere and keemstar and whatever. you could very easily just see an EPIC SJW CRINGE COMPILATION and scroll past and forget about it. they were popular, sure, but you as an individual could ignore it. you had to actively go to a âcringeâ subreddit or scroll through the pits of deviantart to view cringe-related content.
cringe culture doesnât need to call itself cringe culture because cringe culture has become normal internet culture.
it isnât a niche anymore. it isnât something that you can just switch off or block out. itâs in short-form content, in AI content, on social media. mocking peopleâs appearances and hobbies and interests and mannerisms isnât a âcringeâ thing anymore, itâs just an average day on Instagram. AI content farms regurgitate everything tenfold. the divide between right and left has never been as defined on the internet as it is now.
Trumpâs staff hides negative news from him to keep him happy. Musk was so affected by getting booed at Dave Chappelle's performance he had a mental breakdown. Their egos are horribly weak. This is how we defeat themâunyielding insults and mockery.
This is what we trained for. This is our moment. We need to get a lot louder and way more petty.

Iâve been getting horrible messages like this in my ask for months, including:

After getting the message saying âJust go kill yourselfâ I was completely done dealing with this personâs horrible messages and replied with just an âOkay.â and logged off tumblr.
About a week later I logged back on with 17 messages in my ask, most of them from the anon. I scrolled down and at first when I logged off, the anon messaged me things like
I scrolled up more and all of a sudden they started sending me more and more messages like
This was extremely surprising to me. I thought âAfter all those horrible messages you sent to me for MONTHS about hating me and wanting me dead, you say âsorryâ and that you âcant be responsible for someoneâs suicideâ?â
But I guess the lesson goes like this:
DONT TELL ANYONE TO KILL THEMSELVES UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED FOR WHAT MIGHT ACTUALLY HAPPEN
