Wake Up Call (Coriolanus Snow x Fem! Reader)

Wake Up Call (Coriolanus Snow X Fem! Reader)

(Summary: You caught Coriolanus cheating on you so you decided to take matters into your own hands... let's just say you should've known better..)

Masterlist : Request Info

(A/n: omg I have no idea where this came from but surprise? (Think I blacked out a bit as well😂) I get a lot of inspiration from songs😅💀 also I'm not the best at writing smut so apologies!)

Word count: 1.2

(Warnings!: Cheating, infidelity, sexual themes, Coriolanus is his own warning, implications of murder, possibly slight ooc Coriolanus?)

'Came without a warnin so I had to Shoot him dead...'

~~~
  You thought you and Coriolanus had a happy strong marriage but of course you should've known it was all a thieving lie coming from the snake himself.
  You never paid much attention to what people said. That he was a cheater, a liar, a murder. Since you had known him and Tigris since you were kids you never fully believed it. Oh how naive you were...
   Especially one day when you decided to swing by his office to see if he wanted to grab lunch together only to see him railing his assistant in his office.
  Most people would've made a scene but you conjured up an even more scandalous taste of revenge that would be the perfect all star payback.
  Before you had officially ended up with  Coriolanus, you had a guy that you had fallen for Atlas James. He was the light of your life before Coriolanus came in and swept you off your feet again.
  You decided to had call him up and so it began Coriolanus being way to busy at the office and the media are already being aware of your close friendship with Atlas they thought nothing of it.
  Little did you know that one of Coriolanus peacekeepers had caught you and Atlas one day. Which lead to this moment.
"So you thought you could deceive me?" Coriolanus spat as he shoved you into your shared bedroom that hadn't been shared in weeks.
"You're one to talk about deceiving." You spat back sending him death glare. "I found you screwing your assistant a few weeks ago and Atlas was there for me. Besides it gave you the taste of you own medicine."
  That statement made Coriolanus snap as he grabbed your neck pushing you against the door harshly making the door knob jam into your side as you managed to let out a cry from his strong grip.
"Your just a little thieving slut aren't you? Or have you forgotten that Your mine!" He seethed as you let out a whine as your body betrayed you letting your undergarments get soaked. His eyes gleaming with something you couldn't understand.
"I think it's time I show you exactly who you belong too.." He growled before pushing her down onto the bed bringing her into a rough hard kiss as he ripped off your panties.
"Filthy slut." He grumbled at your soaked garment and entrance. Without warning he shoved two fingers into your core making you let out a strangle moan as he held you in a bruising kiss as his fingers plunged in and out of you.
"Cori-" Shut up. Shut that filthy little mouth of yours." He snapped as he pulled her hair back roughly making her gasp.
  He ripped off her silk dress completely now making it tear before pulling his fingers out pushing her into the mattress with his hand around your throat squeezing it harshly as he unbuckled his pants and shoving his cock into you before pulling out and slamming back in making hers eyes widened in pain at the unreadiness before letting out a strangled moan as he continued at the very rough pace.
"You belong to me!" He growled as he snapped his hips into you. "Mine." "Mine." "MINE!" Her eyes rolling back into the back of her head with a mix of pleasure and light headedness.
"Say it! Say your mine!" He snapped letting go of your throat.
"I-im yours!" You shouted into a moan as you crumbled underneath him letting him win once again.
"Who do you belong to?" He asked making you look into his eyes as he fucked into you.
"Y-you! Only ever you!" You moaned. The smirk on his face displayed he was satisfied but you knew. You knew better and should've known better.
  He licked and sucked down your neck as he brought your legs over his shoulders giving a new angle making you cry out in pain as you felt him in your cervix.
"You feel that?" He grumbled pushing down on your lower stomach making your eyes widen and gasp. "Me. That's my spot.and only mine.."
"Tell me did he make you feel this good when he fucked you?" He asked lifting his head from her neck and looking into your eyes.
"N-no." You moaned looking into his eyes. "O-only you have made me feel this g-good!"
  He kissed your ear and whispering. "Good girl."
"Cum for me. Cum on my cock baby let everybody know how good you are being fucked." And of course you obeyed as you finally came with a loud moan as he pushed himself in balls deep a final time before spilling his seed deep inside your womb.
  His hands letting go of your arms as they came around you holding you as you both panted sweat dripping down your bodies. Before unwrapping his arms pulling out of you making you whine at the sudden emptiness. You honestly thought he was going to just leave you a mess once you saw him get up and leave. But to your surprise he came back and picked you up taking you to the bathroom placing you into the hot steamy bath before stripping his own clothes and getting in behind you before bringing you to lay against him.
  You felt too tired to say a word or protest his actions only to relax against his chest in his arms.
"I apologise for deceiving our marriage.. for deceiving you." He said making you freeze and wonder if this was just another manipulation temp or actually coming from the Corio you once thought you knew.
"I was stressed and I didn't think about you." ‘Obviously’ you thought. "But it's you. It's been you. My wife." Coriolanus said pressing kiss on the back of her neck.
"Why did you do it? With your assistant?" You asked at the risk of angering him again.
"I was working late hours. Barley home and... I missed you." He confessed. "I know it's a bullshit excuse.. but it's true.."
"I-I only slept with him the time you found out about it all the other times I would meet up with him was just to mess with you.. to see if you would care." You admitted feeling an unwanted sense of guilt however this filled Coriolanus with pride at your sense of knowing. Before bringing her head up as he pressed his lips to yours in a wanting kiss.
  You turned around in the kiss coming to straddle him neither of you caring much if some water spilled out of the tub as he slipped himself back into you causing you to moan in mix of pleasure and pain against his lips.
  Coriolanus smirked against your lips as he got her exactly where he wanted you. As he also smirked at the knowing fact that your beloved ex and his slut of an assistant will no longer be a problem after tonight and won't be coming around anymore.
The Heiress Of Panem (Coriolanus Snow x reader)
The Heiress Of Panem (Coriolanus Snow X Reader)
(Summary: Some people look down on you for having your first born be a daughter but you don't let it bother you and neither does Coriolanus.)
Masterlist : Request info
Word Count: 480
(A/n: Another short and sweet one :) also can you guess what photo is my favorite of him😅)
(Warning:disrespect for feminism, slight angst, fluff fluff fluff!)
~~~~

  Opening the door to the bedroom he shares with his beautiful wife, Y/n. They knew each other since they were little, through their parents, and since then they remained best friends, but during the Academy, Coriolanus confessed his love for Y/n.

  Through what they went through together, their relationship remained close and loving even during the period when Coriolanus was away in District 12 as a peacekeeper. They always found methods of communication, on the phone, letters.

  He scans the room to find her not there so he goes to the only place where she could be and he was correct as he saw her with the other person who makes him smile even in the hardest moments, their beautiful daughter, Marie Snow. He leaned against the door frame watching his love with their beautiful daughter.

  Not many people were too keen on their first born, the heir being a girl. Some who were still very old fashioned. Grandma'am who they both loved was unfortunately one of those people who had constantly reminded the couple that it should've been a boy a perfect heir and gem of panem. Even some reporters had comments but they weren't a worry anymore.

Comments from others like:

'Aren't you ashamed of your first born, Heir of Snow beings a girl? And not a son?'

'At least our first born was a son. We aren't putting shame on anyone.'

Stupid pathetic comments that had Y/n in a rut even more during her postpartum not long after she had Marie. He remembered finding her hidden away crying in their shared bedroom the one day.

"I just... don't fully understand why they won't accept her.." Y/n whispered with tears streaming down her face.

"Some of them need to come to times with things.."he said. Y/n wiped off her tears. Coriolanus came over to her pulling her into a comforting hug.

  Even with people against it. Coriolanus couldn't have been more happier. Which both you and Tigris were grateful for.

"A boy would be the gem of Panem.." Y/n whispered, looking down at her daughter in her arms.

"But you Marie Ambre Snow.. Shall be mine." She cooed at her daughter with a smile kissing her head as she rocked her in her arms.

"Ours my love..." Coriolanus said as he admired her and their daughter. Y/n looked over at him with a smile.

"Yes. Ours." She replied as she put their daughter now asleep in her crib.

Coriolanus came over wrapping his arms around her and kissing her head as they both now admired their daughter together.

A Toast (Slightly Dark Coriolanus Snow x Reader)

A Toast (Slightly Dark Coriolanus Snow X Reader)

(Summary: Y/n & Coriolanus have always loved each other but someone has always gotten in the way of you too.)

Masterlist : Request Info

Word Count: 1.4k

(A/n: I’ve been having this in my drafts for to long as well as many others.. but I’ve had this idea for way too long! Sorry if it’s a mess but let me know if y’all want a part 2!!)

(Warnings!: ANGST ANGST ANGST! Heartbreak, Livia being a bÂĄtch, Lucy Gray mentioned, Slightly Dark Coriolanus Snow!)

"A toast to Emily.. Always the bridesmaid, Never The Bride..."

~~~~
You didn't know why you were here at Coriolanus wedding.. a wedding to Livia Cardew of all people. You couldn't believe what he said to you that night you had found out about the engagement.
~~~~

"Y-your what..." Y/n said, looking at Coriolanus. Hurt and confusion filled your eyes.

"Look I know it's out of the blue." He said, reaching out to her. She moved away feeling her heart start to break. "But I'm doing this for a reason.. n/n-"

"Don't.. just don't.." Y/n said putting her hand up to stop him.

"I-I have to go.." She said getting up and grabbing her coat and purse. Coriolanus looked at her confused.

"What?" Coriolanus asked before grabbing her arm.

"Let go Corio..." "Why are leaving like this?"

Y/n wanted to slap him so hard. Before turning to look at him tears filling her eyes.

"You're getting married Coriolanus." He winced a bit at her using his full name. "And I'm not going to be your mistress or the other woman or whatever this between us has been about!"

"N/n you know Livia means nothing to me.." Coriolanus said. She gave a look.

"Then why marry her? Because of her money?" Y/n asked, Coriolanus looked away. "Oh my god. That's it isn't it? It's just another way for you to get more ... power.."

"T-that's why it'll never be me.." Y/n whispered as the realisation she'd been avoiding for so long hit her full on. Coriolanus looked at her, hearing her words.

"Y-" "No! g-get off me.." She spat pushing him off her and he tried to grab her again but wasn't fast enough as she made a dash to the door and left leaving him alone.

~~~
The realisation she had finally faced that night shook her to the core. She'd known. Of course she'd known. How could she not? He would never go for her he'd pick someone higher more powerful with money or someone lower... but beautiful and talented something she wasn't.. something she never will be.. like Lucy Gray Baird.
The girl he had mentored and helped during the 10th anual Hunger Games and followed her to District 12 after getting caught cheating in the games as a peacekeeper.
~~~

"W-what?" Y/n whispered in disbelief. Sitting up in her bed as Coriolanus had just climbed up to your bedroom from the fire escape.

"I cheated in the games their sending me to 12 as a Peacekeeper.." He spoke. She knew he was lying.

"You're following her aren't you." She whispered. He looked at you confused and a mixture of shock and guilt. "I.. Dean Highbottom told me that you were getting sent to 8.. he didn't tell me why.."

His jaw clenched as he tried to reach out to her but she pulled away and looking away as tears formed.

"H-how long?" She asked.. he looked at her with an unreadable expression."20 years.."

She nodded wiping away her tears and sniffing. "Maybe.. it's for the best.."

Coriolanus froze at her words. Wondering what the hell she meant by that. It made him feel angry hurt confused.. numb.. he could tell she was crying.

"I-I think you should go.. Coriolanus.."

He winced at her using his full name the girl that he'd known for years always by his side. Now feeling impossibly far away even when she's right here next to him.

Y/n swallowed thickly before speaking.

"Tell Lucy Gray I'm happy she's alright.."

With that he gave her one last look before leaving back out her window as she finally let out a choked sob as her heart broke.

~~~~~
When she saw him at her front door only months later she didn't know what to do or say but he pulled her into a kiss telling her he was stupid for picking a low life District girl over you.
You met up with him or well he'd turn up at your apartment to talk or in the simplest terms to fuck. He was your first love, first kiss, first time. Of course a greed selfish man like him would take all of your most important firsts. At this point you were jealous of Lucy Gray for getting away from him. Whether she ran up north like Coriolanus told her or if she was dead.
Now here you were standing alongside of guests in an offset purple dress at his wedding to Livia Cardew. Feeling his gaze almost all night with Tigris next to you giving you a sad almost pitiful look.
"I was really hoping that it would be you.." Tigris whispered to you in hushed voice. You gave her a small sad smile back. Before looking to the direction where a glass was being clinked as everyone turned the way to see the devil herself Livia Cardew clinking her glass with a spoon. Raising her glass with a sly smile.
"Hello I'm Livia Cardew- well now Snow." Livia started a speech earning a few laughs from the crowd and a slight scoff from Coriolanus.
"I'd like to make this toast in thanking you all for coming to my-our big day! It's means so much to Coriolanus and I that you are all here!" She earned a few appreciation points from the crowd.
"Oh, I almost forgot! A Toast to Y/n Always the second choice. Never the first!" Livia Cardew Toasted, her speech made some gasp and others laugh.
  Y/n froze in her spot as the reality of the unknown truth in Livia's speech. And before she knew it tears start to perk up into her eyes.
Coriolanus looked at Livia in shock and anger. His eyes drifted to yours. You stood their hurt, shocked once reality set in you saw almost if not everyones eyes on you and the last thing you saw was Livia Cardew smirking at you. After, that you moved your way through the crowd tears slowly falling from your eyes as people laughed and made comments.  After snapping at Livia and having her bridesmaids go after her Coriolanus got up to go after you and Tigris grabbed his arm.
"I think you've done enough Coriolanus.." Tigris said but Coriolanus didn't listen as he tried to get through the crowd.
  The last thing you heard before you exited was the sound of a bright flash. Sure enough everything will be on the front page of the prophet and you were right.
~~~

  The next morning, your face was on the front page of the prophet. Headline saying ‘Chaos at Future Presidents Snows wedding. Y/n Reinswood at the center of it? (Read page 294 for more details!)

Y/n rolled her eyes as she threw it in the her trash can before going back to lay down in her bed curled up into a ball. Thinking about last night.

She knew Livia wasn’t wrong. She was in fact right. Y/n Lyn Reinswood was and will forever be the second choice, Especially when it came to Coriolanus Snow. Remembering last night made it hurt more.

~~~
Y/n rushed to her apartment closing the door with a slight bang. Where she finally let all the tears and sobs escape her lips. Her heart shattered in a million pieces. Feelings of heart ache and embarrassment. She had decided then to move somewhere he wouldn’t find her or care to look.
After what felt like hours, her tears had dried and breathing had calmed she heard a frantic knock on her door. Y/n sighed getting up figuring and hoping it was just Tigris coming to check on her.
“N/n. Please.” She froze in her spot hearing Coriolanus voice on the other side of the door. “Please.. open the door..”
Y/n put a hand on her mouth going to the floor as she let out muffled sobs he kept almost but practically begging for her to open the door. Coriolanus was many things but he was never a begger.
He didn’t know how long he stayed out there for pleading for her to let him in. Y/n was the only thing he had left and because of power once again he had lost you. His own foolish antics. And Livia Cardew how could he be so dimwitted in that decision.. he wasn’t going to let her go not like the songbird from 12. No… not her..
Was it love? Or obsession? Or fear of losing her that made him feel this way. That he kept crawling back to her. He wasn’t sure but he wasn’t ready to let her go all he needed now was to get rid of Livia..
Worst Fear (Dark Coriolanus snow x reader)
Worst Fear (Dark Coriolanus Snow X Reader)
~~~~

(Summary: After you leave Coriolanus after the last straw you had you take your son and the rebels attack and kidnap your son.)

Masterlist : Request Info

Word Count:1.3k

(Warnings: kidnapping, Dark! Coriolanus, a bit messed up at the end, angst!, Lucy Gray mentioned, cheating, manipulating, murder, NOT Fully proffread. Think that’s if?)

~~~~
  It was a beautiful spring day in the capital so you decided to take Cassian and go look at the little out door market. It's been a little over a month since you left Coriolanus.. or was trying to leave. He hasn't left you alone and his peacekeepers always not that far from you. Tracking you with every step.
  The one time you had lunch with your friend from the Academy Flint and not long after you got back from said lunch who was at your apartment threatening you. Then a few days later he was announced dead. You felt absolutely sick that the man you’d once loved and trusted did this.
  You maybe wondering why Y/n had left him. Well the secrets, the lies. What he was doing to others... You didn't trust him. Especially after you had found Lucy Grays Earring. You always had your suspicions but it wasn't until you found the earring and a song that she had wrote just for him. That was the last straw. After that you had packed your and Cassians things when Coriolanus was working but before you left you made sure to put the items on his desk waiting for him like Lucy Grays ghost that has been haunting him. Maybe it was ignorant but you could've honestly cared less. You weren't going to live in something that had a ghost... something that was a lie...
"Mama look!" Cassian shouted tugging the hem of your dress snapping you out of your thoughts as he pointed over to a stall in the market that was selling to no surprise flowers. "Can we please go look at them."
"Of course my love. Just let me pay for this and we will." Y/n said smiling down at her son, Cassian huffed before wondering off around the other side of the stall they were currently at.
"Alright Cassia-" Y/n started but froze not seeing him. She then looked over at the flower stall to see him nowhere.
"Cassian!" She called out looking around the stalls.
"Excuse me have you seen my son Cassian? He was wearing a little brown coat?." Y/n asked a lady passing by. She hesitantly shook her head.
"Cassian!" Y/n yelled. Her throat tightening up as she was realising the horror of the situation. Her hand went over her mouth as she let out a sob.
"Mrs.Snow?" A peacekeeper asked. Emme looked up with tears in her eyes.
"I-it's Cassian.." She grabbed on to his arms as she shook he gave her a concerned look. "Madam-" "Cassians missing.. I-I think h-he's been kidnapped."
The peacekeeper straightened before going over to a group of other peacekeepers notifying them telling one to tell Snow and one to be there for her as the rest and more look for him.
A few moments later, Coriolanus showed up in a mad dash mode going straight to you and taking you home so you would be safe and nothing would happen to you. Where a peacekeeper awaited to get more information.
"Okay, where gonna need a description of what he was wearing." A peacekeeper asked. Y/n let out a shaky sigh.
"He was wearing a little brown coat with a white shirt and tailored jeans with stitching on them. And black shoes." Y/n said shaking as her voice broke.
The peacekeeper gave her a sad look before nodding and paging the others telling them the description and to fan out. As the peacekeeper and Coriolanus turned back she was gone.
Y/n found herself in Cassians room with her heart in hand. Thinking maybe if she'd stay.. he would be here.. he would be home.
Coriolanus came into his son's room. Where he found you sitting on Cassian's bed holding his favorite stuffed animal.
"They're still looking for him." Coriolanus
"You should've been there..to protect him.." Y/n whispered, Coriolanus looked at you.
"You should've been there... and I shouldn't have left.." She said tears streaming down her face. Coriolanus tried to reached out to her.
She moved away bringing the stuffed animal to her chest. Coriolanus reached out again bringing her into an embrace as she sobbed into his shoulder.
"I-I can't lose him.. he's all I have left.." Y/n said pulling back slightly only for him to pull her back into the embrace.
"You're not going to lose him. I promise. We- I will find him." Coriolanus vowed.
"Sir." Coriolanus looked up to see one of the peacekeepers. He nodded to him.
"I have to go talk with them.." Coriolanus murmured to you. You sniffed before pulling away but he grabbed your hand. "Come with me.." he whispered.
  You nodded an okay not wanting to be alone. Taking his hand making your way to his office.
"Mama!" You heard a yell. Y/n looked over to see Cassian letting go of Coriolanus's hand. "Baby."
She let out a cry of relief as she ran over to her son and picking him up. Holding him close to her chest and placing a kiss on his forehead. Tears falling down her face as she thanked the heavens that he was safe and sound.
Coriolanus, told the peacekeepers to bring the one that took him to the ward and kill the others. They nodded and left to do their duty.
Y/n turned around feeling Coriolanus's presence and turned around to his embrace. His arms immediately wrapping around her and kissing the top of her head.
"I-I'm so sorry. What happened to you?" Y/n said/asked between sobs.
"It's okay.. everything's okay now.." Coriolanus said kissing your hair as he held you both close.
  It wasn't long before Cassian fell asleep in your arms exhausted from the day but finally safe in his mother's arms.
"I'll have one of the staff send for your stuff to bring it back home." Coriolanus said, you nodded to exhausted and shook up to answer. "Hey look at me." You sighed tears slipping out as you looked at him.
"He's okay. He's safe. Your safe. I will make sure this NEVER happens to any of you again. Okay? I promise" Coriolanus assured, y/n nodded as silent tears fell. He gave you kiss on your head.
"Why don't you both go to bed. I'll be there in a minute." Coriolanus said. She gave a look. "I promise." She sighed to exhausted to argue or stay as she held Cassian in her arms and leaving to the bedroom.
~~~~

"I told you to scare her. NOT to take my child from her-from US." Coriolanus seethed at the ragged man who he had hired to scare you so you would come back to him.

"I did what you asked me to do." He said in pain from the whips from the peacekeepers.

"No." The man looked at him in horror as his tone turned even more darker and sinister like.

"No you didn't. You touched what's mine. You don't touch what's mine. Not my girl and certainly NOT my child." Coriolanus seethed. Turning to the peacekeepers.

  "Make sure he pays for what he's done and make sure he's NEVER seen agin." He ordered, the peacekeepers bowed their heads understanding what he exactly meant as Coriolanus left the last thing heard before the door shut was a loud curdling scream.

~~~~
  He made his way to the their bedroom to see
y/n  laying on her side with Cassian asleep next to her and her arms wrapped around him holding him close. Coriolanus went up to her sleeping form his finger brushing against her cheek.
"I told you before I'd never let you go.. and I'm never having you leave again.."  He whispered before bending down placing a kiss on her forehead and taking a whiff of her hair. Before discarding his day outfit leaving him in nothing but his boxers and lose white tank top. Slipping into the bed finally having his wife and child back. Never planing on let them escape his grasp again..
Tragedy In Admits Of Happiness(Coriolanus Snow X Fem!reader)
(Summary: Pregnancy supposed to be one of the most joyous moments in life, knowing you're going to be parents. Turns into Coriolanus's nightmare.)
Word Count: 1.3k
Masterlist : Request Info
(A/n: Working on Beauty & The Beast au rn!!)
(Warnings!: Rough pregnancy, talks of abortion, LOT OF angst but with a happy ending! Maybe slight ooc Coriolanus, he actually loves you!, cute moment with Tigris!)
~~~~

"I have something to show you." Coriolanus said taking your hand, you smile as he walked you towards a door. You stopped at the door eyebrows snitched together.

"Hey you okay?" He asked looking at her with slight concern. Y/n nodded smiling slightly. "Hmm morning sickness again?"

"Y-yeah I think- ah!" you shouted slightly as suddenly a sharp pain going through you your hand going to your stomach as you start to crumble to the floor in pain.

Coriolanus's eyes widened as he wrapped his arms around you. He held you as you gripped onto his shirt.

~~~
Coriolanus opened the door once you got home. His arm wrapped around you.
"I want to see the surprise." You blurted out. Moving his arms from around you and walked towards the room you were previously at before..
"You need to rest-" "I want to see it." You said sternly looking at him Coriolanus looked back at you his jaw clenched as you turned away from him going into the room eyes widening as you saw a nursery.
"I had the avoxes work on it all week..." Coriolanus said at the door way.
You walked over to the crib picking up a small onesie that said 'Moms the best.' You bring the onesie up to your chest. Tears filled your eyes.
"I just need a minute.." Y/n sniffed leaving the room. Coriolanus looked around banging his fist against the wall before going after her.
Coriolanus felt like he was losing control. His worst fear ever since losing his mother was now becoming a reality in a cruel twist of fate for him and his beautiful darling wife. And he'd be damned if he lost his girl to the same fate his mother had faced. He found her looking at a picture.
"We can take a day before we go back to the doctor." Coriolanus said. Leaning against the wall slightly. Y/n sat the picture down.
"For an abortion..." She whispered, looking off to the side. Coriolanus jaw clenched.
"That's not wh-" "That's what it is!" Coriolanus looked at her eyes widened a bit at her outburst. She turned around looking at him.
"If you want to say anything about it Coriolanus. Then call it what it is." She said sternly. He ran a hand through his hair.
"How did this happen?" He whispered. She looked away slightly guilt.
"I-I had some pain earlier in the pregnancy.." She admitted. Coriolanus eyes shot up face Turing into one she never wanted to face and looked at her.
"How could you not inform me of this?" He asked anger slowly rising.
"Because I went to the doctor and they said it was nothing.." She said as tears slipped down her cheeks.
"T-this isn't nothing!" Coriolanus said coming in front of you.
"M-maybe it is.." She whispered. Coriolanus eyed her in disbelief.
"What does that mean?" He asked she looked at him. "It means whatever happens.. Happens." Coriolanus backed away angrily.
"You have some nerve.." He spat. Her eyebrows stitched together "excuse me?"
"We are not continuing this pregnancy. I'm not going to lose you because of it." Y/n came up to him.
"It's not an it. Alright? You saw its heart beat and the little tiny fingers and its toes." "Stop!" "No im not gonna stop okay?!"
  Coriolanus looked at her eyes filling with tears whether it's from rage or what she's saying.
"T-this is our baby Corio. It's you and me." She said taking his hand. "Are we really going to let them place odds on us? After everything that we've been through? Kidnappings, District 12, peacekeeping, the games, my family?" She exclaimed. Coriolanus looked at her with sad angry eyes .
"I can't lose you.. not li-" Y/n cupped his cheeks "you're not going to lose me like your mother. We are going to be fine.." she said taking one of his hands and placing it in her bump. "All three of us."
"Plus if I go. I will haunt your ass to make sure you never slip." She joked.
"How the hell can you joke about this and be so calm?" He asked but more liked seethed at her. She took eyes off her bump and looked into his eyes.
"Cause I'm scared." Y/n said with tears slipping from her eyes. Coriolanus eyes softened before eloping her into an embrace.
"But I have to believe that the odds WILL be in our favor this is not where our story ends.." She whispered, forehead pressed against his.
~~~~

7 months later...

~~~~
You were now very heavily pregnant at a gala that the doctor okayed you to go to Coriolanus was by your side all night. Checking on you as you were both congratulated as people gushed over the two of you bringing a baby. Into the world.
Now, you had just gotten home and Corio was walking you to the bedroom. A peacekeeper came up to you bowing his head.
"Mister Snow sir, I'm sorry to interrupt but you have an important call." A peacekeeper said.
"What ever it is. Im sure it can wait." Coriolanus said coldly. The peacekeeper gulped before taking a deep breath and saying who it was. Coriolanus sighed as he gave you a hesitant look.
"Go, I'll be fine." Y/n said giving him a small smile. He gave you a kiss on the head.
"This won't take long." Coriolanus said you nodded as he walked off with the peacekeeper.
You continued your walk to the bedroom before you felt a sharp pain and felt something slip down your leg to see blood. Your breath hitched as your body crumbled to the ground not hearing her name being called in a series of panic.
Tigris rushed into the hospital wing seeing Coriolanus with his head in his hands. She gulped walking over to him placing a hand on his shoulder. He looked up with teary eyes.
"I can't lose her Tigris.. not like.." Tigris shushed him as she brought him into an embrace. It was the first time since before the 10th anual games that she saw the actual him.
"You're not going to lose her Corio, y/n is strong a lot stronger than we know." And she was right.
  The odds did it in fact fall in their favor a few moments later Elorie Rose Snow was born the both of you healthier than anyone could imagined. Coriolanus practically rushed into your room seeing you sat up holding the small baby in your arms looking as beautiful and alive more than ever. You smiled at him as he came closer looking at you then down at his.. daughter. He let the last tear slip as he embraced you kissing your forehead and wrapping his arm around you.
"Oh y/n she's beautiful.." Tigris cooed at the very healthy new born resting in you arms.
"Would you like to hold her?" She asked. Tigris froze for a moment before nodding her head.
"Ellie this is your godmother and best aunt Tigris." Y/n said as she handed Elorie over to her.
Tigris looked at Coriolanus surprised and he nodded. Tigris eyes welled up with tears as she held the baby looking down at her now goddaughter.
"Are you-" "I'm fine.. im more than fine Corio." Y/n said looking at him as she leaned her head on his shoulder. Taking a deep breath as she smiled looking at their daughter and Tigris. Coriolanus kiss her forehead as Tigris handed Elorie back to Y/n.
"I'll let you two have a moment." Tigris said as she left the room.
"She's perfect.." Y/n said looking down at the newborn with pure platinum blonde hair.
   Coriolanus looked at Y/n then to his daughter. She looked like the perfect mix of the two of you. His heart swelled looking at her. He knew then that he could never truest hate her even when he almost lost you but he didn't. Here you three were okay and safe.
Our Dirty Little Secret (Coriolanus Snow x Cardew! Reader)
Our Dirty Little Secret (Coriolanus Snow X Cardew! Reader)
(Summary: Livia thinks Coriolanus is after her oh how wrong she is when you Livias sister is the one he wants (quite literally) )
Word Count: 550
Masterlist : Request Info
(A/n: Heavily based off of the one episode in gossip girl with Blair & Chuck)
(Warnings: Nsfw, Livia being annoying, typical snow)
~~~

"Y/n!!!" The aggravating voice of your sister yelled as she threw open the door to your bedroom and went over to your closet.

"Where is my red dress? Do you have it?" She said as she rummaged through your closet.

"Why would I have it and besides in case you forgot which clearly you have." She came out sending you a strange look. "You had it taken to the dry cleaners. What do you need it for anyways?"

"Oh.. right.." Livia said her face flushing from embarrassment for forgetting. She shock it off quickly. "I need it for tonight it's a party after all and I'm wearing it for Coriolanus obviously." She said snarkly.

"Do I wish it was someone else? Absolutely but as long as I am First Lady why should I care?" She said smirking as she readjusted her lip stick with one of yours. You roll your eyes at her little comments.

"Obviously.. now can you please get out?" You replied annoyed. She gave a little 'hm' before throwing the lips stick at you which you luckily caught.

  She slammed the door closed as she left. Letting out a loud sigh of relief as the comforter lifted up revealing Coriolanus. His hair a mess and lips glistening.

"We can't keep doing this.." Y/n said as she moved away but Coriolanus grabbed her and pulled her back into place as she let out a gasp of surprise.

"I don't give a damn if she catches us or about her." He muttered darkly. Y/n looked at him in slight shock but not that surprised.

"Besides my meal isn't finished yet.." He proceeded as he gave her a smirk making her flush and a gasp leaving her lips as he placed a kiss on her hard breast.

"Be quiet..." He said as he lowered himself back down to her awaiting lips. Her eyes rolled back as he reconnected placing a hand over her mouth to muffle her moans.

  This had been going on for months now ever since you both actually got to know each other without Livia coming in and interrupting or pulling you away with some excuse. It was only until a few weeks ago when you became a thing at a party hosted by your parents.

  You found yourselves confessing to each other the attraction neither of you surprised and next thing she knew is her back up against the one lounge room door that was far from the party dress hiked up , legs parted and Coriolanus in between them. It had became an almost daily thing whether it was in your bedroom at the risk of being caught or at his penthouse.

  Y/ns fear is being caught whether by your sister or parents. Not that her parents ever cared what she was doing to busy doting after their favorite Livia. Which in this case she should be thankful for especially when she has the man that they're trying to set up with Livia in between your legs devouring you. And doing other private affairs behind closed doors.

Man who can’t be moved (Coriolanus Snow x Reader)

Man Who Can’t Be Moved (Coriolanus Snow X Reader)

(Summary: Coriolanus and you were once upon a time really close but when tragedy struck that had you torn apart but he has picture of you

Masterlist : Request Info

Word Count: 1.4k

(A/n: The Polls came out as even so I’ve decided to do both Finnick & Coriolanus for the song so keep your eyes open for Finnick Odair one!!)

(Warnings: song lyrics, Coriolanus Snow inner dialogue, death mentioned, Not fully proffered but most yes, useing she/her pronouns but can. Be read as Gender neutral)

"Going back to the corner where I first saw you.."

~~~
  Coriolanus Snow had never wanted to go back to District 12. The place where his father was murdered, where he almost died from a snake bite, where he murdered Sejanus poor pitiful Sejanus. and the victor of 10th annual hunger games that he mentored and sacrificed his future, but that couldn't compare to the one.
  The same place where he reunited and lost the girl he had lost when he was 12 years old. Only for her to disappear and leave him in those very same woods out in district 12.
  Coriolanus went over to the desk and pulled open the drawer that was the nearest to the sliding door of the train and pulled out a picture of her 'Y/n Reinswood'  taken at the place that she had shown him. A secluded corner of the forest where it overlooked a view of the lake.. it was their spot..Where they had their first kiss, I love you, and …
He walked over to the board where their were words on notecards, with his different speeches. It was his second year in his presidency campaign and 4 years since he last was in 12. Last time you saw you. He looked down at the picture of you with your beautiful smile. He used to wonder if he would ask showing people the picture. ‘If you see this girl, can you tell her where I am?’
When he decided to go back to 12 for his campaign. People would show him pity, confusion. He hated how he felt about her. How he missed her. How weak he was about her. He remembers Dr.Gaul saying ‘Love is weakness, being broken is weakness and being a broken hearted man is even weaker.’
He couldn’t show weakness.. especially to the rebels who wanted him gone and to stay higher up. Snow lands on top. His father’s motto and now his.
But Coriolanus Snow was not stupid or blind to how he actually felt about her. He knows it makes no sense. Especially, when he’s face to face with Tigris on the rare occasion they do see each other. She sees right through him. She knows he can’t move on because he’s still in love with you.
Which makes him almost hate her. He never wanted anyone to see his weakness.. not again..
‘Cause if one day you wake up and find that you’re missing me…
Ever since he had gotten back from 12 he would find himself missing you and wondering where in 12 if you were still there could you be. And he hated it so to put his mind to rest.
He had decided to go back to the place that they used to meet at after his speech. Was it risky a chance but having peacekeepers all around that place would be easy. He would go to prove to himself that you were gone and not coming back. Even though a smallest chance that you’ll see him waiting for you on the corner of the woods..
Maybe you won't mean to but, you'll see me on the news and you'll come running to the corner...
  It was a beautiful Spring Day in District 12, you were walking around the market after doing some shopping with the money you had earned from performing at the Hob.
  Passing by a house on the way back to the covey you heard on the TV 'that the up and coming president snow. has reached District 12.'
  Y/n froze looking over at the TV seeing Coriolanus's Face pop up in to the screen. Broad casted from an hour ago. You sighed before continuing your walk.
  As you were about to walk the path to the covey cottage you heard some by passing Peacekeepers radio go off saying that they didn't know where Snow went. Y/n stopped dead in her tracks thinking if he was at their spot.
'Cause you'll know it's just for you...
  Without a thought she grabbed the basket and ran to the spot in the corner of the woods just past the meadow. It was a small secluded spot in the forest over looking the lake not far from the outlook of the forest. The first spot where she took him those 4 years ago.
  Her breath got caught in her throat once she saw him. He was leaning against a tree with his hands in his pocket of his father’s long red thick coat. His hair combed back. She didn't fully believe it. Until she had accidentally stepped on a stick that had snapped which made her freeze.
  Coriolanus whipped his head around reaching for something in his pocket. Until he saw her standing there he quickly retracted his hand. His eyes widening in the slightest way before smiling slyly.
"I knew you'd find me here.." He said, smiling softly knowing he still had her.
"W-what are you doing here..." Y/n asked. Not really knowing what to do. He moved off the tree he was leaning on. Not answering her question.
"I should hate you for leaving me in the woods.. again.. but I couldn't stop thinking about you. I guess you would say 'I'm the man who can't be moved..'" Coriolanus said the last part jokingly, his finger tracing your jaw which made Y/n's breath hitch slightly.
"What makes you think i should believe you?" She asked. His eyes going slightly dark with slight frustration.
"Because ever since you left the capital and I found you here and you left again. I have not stopped thinking about you. I know what I did. I know what I've done. Yes I could kill you too. But I don't want that. It wouldn't be easier..." Coriolanus said, which made Y/n back up into a tree. Only for him to follow until he was in front of her.
"I've wanted you ever since I was 10 years old, when you gave Tigris and I food even though you needed just as much and then I had to watch you be taken away. And when I found you here singing at the hob with Lucy Gray after I helped her win. It fueled that those times we spent together before that day I've never forgotten or got over it. So Yes! I am the Man who can't be moved!" Coriolanus seethed with frustration almost hating himself for sounding so vulnerable and telling the truth.
  Y/n looked at him shocked at how he remembered that. She has also loved him for a long time but how could she forgive him? After killing her best friend that was practically her sister and Sejanus who was probably his only friend after she had left...
"Why the hell do you think I'm here? At our spot? Why do you think you came?" He said, looking into her eyes.
She hated to admit it but he was right she did come right here to see if he was here. She hated that she knew where he would be.. She hated that she missed him and would wonder where he was. Hoping and thinking maybe he'll come back to the this place.
   Coriolanus felt the same he hated that she was the weakness that wouldn't go away, the one he missed every single day seeing her face everywhere. And hoping that she was still out their for them to meet again. Even though he knew he could never hate her. No matter how much he tried.
  Y/n looked at him. His features from the once young boy now a man standing in front of her. Without so much as a thought she leaned in pressing her lips softly against his. Sealing her fait and saying her sorrys to the covey and two that she lost. Coriolanus a bit taken back for a split moment before kissing her back if not immediately as he sealed his and hers fait. With a kiss full of passion and love that had regained in this moment from 4 years ago.
  They both knew whether they had their reunion or not they would always go back to the corner whether in their mind or in reality as much as they would to fight it. They would camp in a sleeping bag that would never move..
Because you love me… (Coriolanus Snow x Fem! Reader)
Because You Love Me… (Coriolanus Snow X Fem! Reader)
(Heavily based on a TikTok Audio!)
Masterlist : Request Info
(Summary: Coriolanus and you were in love that was until you found out he had killed Lucy Gray & Sejanus. That's until you meet again 3 years later)
Word Count: 845
(Warning: Bad Writing💀,Typical Hunger games themes, guns mentioned, Sejanus and Lucy Gray death mentioned, sexual themes)
~~~~

   You loved him but when you found out he had killed Lucy Gray and sent Sejanus to the hanging tree. You hated yourself for it. For loving him and caring for him so you ran and hid. One rainy afternoon off a beaten trail you were sure he wouldn't find you. You stayed there for weeks until you thought it was safe and when you finally decided to return back to the covey it turned out he had already been sent home.

  It was 3 years before you saw him again. Somebody had taken interest in one of your fashion pieces a year after he had left. Which had land you in the capital little did they know you had joined the rebellion. You were sick of kids killing kids and for what? What purpose?

  It was a summer night at a gala, when rebels attacked which you had not known was going to happen to busy sewing people's dresses for said event and in your mincts of hiding. Hiding so they don't think you're apart of it but in that very room Y/n would come face to face with Coriolanus the boy she had loved once. Who was now pointing a gun at her.

~~~
"I was wondering when I'd see you again.." Coriolanus said. Holding the gun directly at her. Y/n froze Turing around seeing the scene bestowed upon her.
She remembered when he had promised her that he would never hurt her but a lot can change in just 3 years. Y/n thought for a moment before taking a deep breath.
"You mean you're actually going to kill me?" Y/n said, shaking as she saw Coriolanus pointing a gun at her.
  All he did was stare with eyes that said he would do just that. It had been years since either of you saw each other. Since you left him.. all he could do was stare.
"Well.. go ahead.." She said, looking at him.
  Coriolanus looked at her slightly shocked. But not lowering the gun. "I'll do this my own way..."
"You won't do it.." y/n said, realising the clarity of what they both still felt for each other.. even if they both denied it.
"You can't pull the trigger.."
  Slowly and hesitantly coming in front of him with the gun against her chest.
"You can't pull it because you still love me.." Coriolanus froze, looking her in the eyes.
"I-it takes a very Brave and a Very Cold man to do that...Coriolanus..." Y/n said, now fully in front of him.
  She knew he was cold.. but if he still felt something other that pure hatred he wouldn't do it..
  Coriolanus eyes looked into hers and a million thought running through his head.
"I don't think you can..." y/n said with tears she did not realize perking in her eyes. "Isn't that true?"
  But as the gun stayed where it was Y/n let out a shaky breath before closing her eyes letting the silent tears fall as she awaited the bang that would end it all.. but for her to hear the safety click back on and the gun being pulled away and thrown onto the table nearby. Her eyes widened in shock as she was pulled into a kiss.
  She pushed him away to look at him taking in his features, he had grown more handsome his hair now combed perfectly... but his eyes stayed the same showing the same emotion from those years ago. The love, passion they had once had.
"It's True.." Coriolanus said, almost aggravated and desperate.
   Before he pulled her back into another kiss and she let him even deepen the kiss fuelling the passion. He backed you up into a wall if anyone would come in you would be sheltered. Her leg was on his hip her dress bunched up. Clothes became undone. Panties pushed to the side. Neither of you need to say more. Yes, there was a lot to say but nothing could compare to the raw passionate love that had been lost and was now found. The only sound was from both of your lips. Whether it was from splotchy wet kisses or the pleasure becoming overbearing. You both came undone a short while later.
  Before Coriolanus snuck you both out hand in hand taking you to his private penthouse apartment where the night continued between silky soft expensive sheets. Going into the wee early hours of the morning until exhaustion overtook the both of you. Laying side by side wrapped in each other's arms. Falling into a blissful sleep. Putting the worries of the future behind and basking in each other's embrace. Waiting for morning to come where you had to face reality.
Sejanus + Marcus Plinth, their from the districts so could only amuse that nobody liked them because, of the war. Not to mention, Marcus's rebellious reputation and care free self and Sejanus the kind gentle soul that cares to much.. She had met them in their third year Sejanus saw her all alone and it created a long lasting friendship with the boys. Not to forget that Marcus as a soft spot.
Ashe Warren, The academy's Charming Bad boy. Comes from one of the top highest families, very rich, very 'likeable'. His family helped out a lot during the war not to mention his father is one of the commanding generals of the peacekeepers. Ashe did not give a shit or tries to act like he doesn't. He has a habit of causing trouble with other people especially when it comes to the snobby Richies, and is not afraid to put anyone in their place. She had met Ashe in fifth year, he had found her in the corridor behind a piller while she was trying to cover up a bruise since she saw a group of girls walk into the bathroom. He helped her and had actual concern for her. (Also that Ashe has liked her since grade school..) from then on he's been by her side.
Coriolanus Snow, The heiress of the snow family , she had met Coriolanus and his cousin Tigris a few months after the war. Seeing Coriolanus looking for food the next day. The housekeeper Mrs.Figgs helped her making sure her parents did not catch her. His eyes went wide before grabbing her hand and taking her to his cousin Tigris she gave a confused hesitant look but with one small sentence
"I had this basket m-made for you. I-I saw you both yesterday and-" Tigris smiled and said" Thank you.. what's your name?"
"Emme. Emme Reinswood." She replied hesitantly.
"Well Emme I'm Tigris and this is my cousin Coriolanus." Tigris introduced them.
Whispers of Shadows: A Capitol Love Lost
Whispers Of Shadows: A Capitol Love Lost
This is a short story. I just wanted to write something that I thought about when I was watching the movie. It has a sad ending, depending on how you view it. and all the pictures are from Pinterest.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The opulent halls of the Academy for Capitol Youth buzzed with excitement as students in their crisp school uniforms mingled, their laughter echoing against the marble walls. Among them moved a figure that commanded attention — young Coriolanus Snow, the scion of a once-proud family fallen on hard times. His icy blue eyes and impeccably styled blonde hair belied the struggles hidden beneath the surface.
Enter Monica Crestwood, a vision of elegance and grace despite the standard school uniform. Her family's wealth dripped from every carefully chosen accessory, from the way she carried herself with poise to the sparkling kindness that set her apart from the Capitol's typically callous elite.
Monica and Coriolanus had been inseparable since they first crossed paths at the Academy. Bonded by a shared understanding of familial expectations and the pressures of societal standing, their connection deepened as they leaned on each other for support in the face of adversity.
Monica's compassion extended beyond the polished halls of the Academy, reaching into the very heart of the Snow family's struggles. She sought to bridge the gap between the Crestwoods and the Snows, understanding that Coriolanus's family was teetering on the precipice of ruin. Monica's parents, however, disapproved of her association with the Snows, deeming it a threat to their carefully cultivated image.
Despite the frosty reception from her family, Monica persevered in her efforts to help Coriolanus. She offered support in the form of clandestine financial aid, discreetly providing assistance to the Snows without her parents' knowledge. Her love for Coriolanus was unwavering, and she believed in a future where they could rise above the obstacles that threatened to tear them apart.
As the 10th Hunger Games approached, the Capitol was abuzz with anticipation. This year's tributes were selected, and among them was a girl named Lucy Gray, whose ethereal beauty and captivating presence had captured the attention of all. Coriolanus, tasked with mentoring Lucy Gray, found himself drawn to her in ways he couldn't comprehend.
Monica, sensing the shift in dynamics, struggled with a growing sense of unease. Coriolanus, engrossed in the world of the Hunger Games, became increasingly distant. The once inseparable couple found themselves on opposite sides of a growing chasm, their worlds spinning in different directions.
Amidst the lavish parties and glittering distractions of the Capitol, Monica grappled with the realization that she was losing Coriolanus to the allure of the Games. The once unbreakable bond they shared seemed fragile, as though the weight of the Hunger Games threatened to shatter the foundation of their love.
In the dimly lit corners of the Academy, Monica watched as Coriolanus and Lucy Gray's interactions deepened. The spark that ignited between them cast a shadow over Monica's heart, leaving her feeling abandoned and isolated. As the Games approached, Monica wrestled with the looming fear that she might lose not only Coriolanus but also the person she once knew him to be.
Little did she know that the coming days would test the limits of her love and loyalty, forcing her to confront the harsh realities of the Capitol's machinations and the unpredictable nature of the Hunger Games.
The Capitol's effervescent energy reached its peak as the Games commenced. Monica, adorned in the standard school uniform that all students wore, stood in the crowd, her eyes fixated on the arena. Coriolanus, now fully immersed in his role as a mentor, exuded a confidence that Monica had not seen before.
The tributes, including Lucy Gray, entered the arena, their faces a mix of fear and determination. Monica's heart pounded as she watched the spectacle unfold on the screens. The opulence of the Capitol contrasted sharply with the brutality of the Games, and Monica couldn't help but question the society that reveled in such a spectacle.
As the days passed, Monica's inner turmoil grew. The divide between her and Coriolanus widened, exacerbated by the Capitol's intoxicating influence. Late nights turned into early mornings as Monica grappled with her conflicting emotions, torn between loyalty to Coriolanus and an unsettling realization that the Games were changing him.
In the hushed corridors of the Academy, Monica overheard whispers of alliances and betrayals within the arena. The Games were a ruthless game of survival, and Coriolanus navigated its treacherous waters with a cunning that both impressed and frightened Monica. She wondered if the boy she fell in love with still existed beneath the layers of Capitol manipulation.
Monica's clandestine efforts to aid the Snow family faced new challenges as her own family intensified their disapproval. The Crestwoods, deeply entrenched in the Capitol's social hierarchy, couldn't fathom Monica's association with the Snows, especially given Coriolanus's role in the Hunger Games.
Despite the mounting pressures, Monica refused to abandon her convictions. She continued to support Coriolanus from the shadows, offering subtle gestures of encouragement that went unnoticed amidst the chaos of the Capitol's festivities. Yet, as the Games progressed, Monica couldn't escape the nagging feeling that her actions were a mere whisper against the roaring tide of Capitol politics.
The turning point came when Lucy Gray emerged as a formidable contender in the Games. Coriolanus's mentorship had molded her into a captivating and unpredictable force, capturing the hearts of Capitol citizens and sponsors alike. Monica, torn between her love for Coriolanus and a growing admiration for Lucy Gray's resilience, found herself at a crossroads.
The Capitol's opulent façade crumbled as Monica confronted the harsh reality of the Hunger Games. The Games weren't just a spectacle; they were a cruel reminder of the Capitol's power and the sacrifices made in the name of entertainment. Monica's internal struggle mirrored the external chaos of the arena, and she couldn't shake the feeling that the Capitol was playing a dangerous game with the lives of its youth.
As the climax of the Games approached, Monica's resolve solidified. She would confront Coriolanus, not as a victim of the Capitol's machinations but as a woman who refused to be a pawn in their deadly game. The once-burgeoning love between Monica and Coriolanus would face its ultimate test, and the outcome would ripple through the corridors of the Capitol, challenging the very foundations of their society.
------
The echoes of the Hunger Games had barely faded when the harsh reality of consequences descended upon Coriolanus Snow. The Capitol, unforgiving in its pursuit of perfection, discovered his illicit actions to save Lucy Gray. As the Capitol's judgment fell upon him, Coriolanus found himself stripped of privilege, his family disgraced, and his future hanging in the balance.
Monica, unaware of the extent of Coriolanus's transgressions, sought him out in the dimly lit corridors of the Academy. Her steps quickened as she approached him, her eyes revealing a mix of concern and determination.
"Coriolanus, we need to talk," Monica implored, her voice tinged with worry. "What's happening? Why are they punishing you?"
Coriolanus, his once-confident demeanor now replaced by a defeated slouch, sighed heavily. "Monica, it's over. The Capitol has no tolerance for failure.I cheated in the games. I've been assigned to be a Peacekeeper in a distant district."
Her eyes widened with disbelief. "No, there has to be something we can do. I'll talk to my parents, we'll find a way to fix this."
He shook his head, a bitter smile playing on his lips. "Your parents won't help. They never believed in us. They saw me as a means to an end, a way to maintain their precious status. Now that I'm tainted, they'll wash their hands of me."
Monica's determination wavered as she reached out to touch his arm. "Coriolanus, we can face this together. I'll stand by you, no matter what. We'll find a way."
His icy gaze met hers, and for a moment, there was a flicker of gratitude. However, as the weight of his impending departure settled in, an unexpected venom seeped into his words. "Monica, let's not pretend. Our love was a convenience, a way for me to survive in the Capitol. I never loved you. It was always about the money, the stability you offered."
Monica recoiled, her eyes welling up with tears. "Coriolanus, how can you say that? We've been through so much together. I believed in us."
His tone turned cold, matching the frost in his eyes. "Belief won't change anything. I've found someone who truly understands me, who doesn't see me as a pawn in their game. Lucy Gray — she's the one I love."
Monica felt the ground crumble beneath her. "Lucy Gray? After everything we've been through, you're leaving me for her?"
Coriolanus, unmoved by her distress, continued, "I need to go where she is, I need to make sure she is alive. District 12, where Lucy is. It's time to embrace the reality of my feelings."
Monica, torn between disbelief and heartbreak, struggled to find words. As Coriolanus turned to walk away, the shattered pieces of their once-unbreakable bond lay scattered, lost in the harsh winds of change.
Monica, though battered by Coriolanus's cutting words, refused to let despair consume her. As he turned to leave, she reached out, her hand trembling, and gently caught hold of his arm. "Coriolanus, please," she pleaded, her voice barely above a whisper.
He turned his expression a mixture of regret and determination. But before he could speak, Monica stepped into his arms, wrapping herself around him in a tight embrace. "It's okay," she whispered into his ear, her voice steady despite the quiver in her heart. "If this is where you need to be, then I'll support you. I'll love you from here, even if it hurts."
Coriolanus, taken aback by the unexpected gesture, hesitated for a moment. The cold exterior he had crafted began to crack as he felt the warmth of Monica's embrace. His icy resolve wavered, and for a fleeting moment, he questioned the choices he was making.
Monica continued, her voice filled with sincerity, "I promise to take care of Tigers and Grandma'am. I'll make sure they remember you. And I'll do my best to bring you back home, to us."
Coriolanus, conflicted and haunted by unspoken emotions, simply hugged her back. The weight of his actions hung heavily between them, but in that moment, the familiarity of their connection pushed through the turmoil. He pressed a tender kiss to her forehead, a silent acknowledgment of the love that lingered beneath the surface.
Monica, her eyes closed against the pain, whispered, "Be safe, Coriolanus. Find your happiness. I'll be waiting for you, no matter how long it takes."
As he reluctantly pulled away, their eyes met one last time. In that gaze, a complex tapestry of emotions unfolded — love, regret, and the unspoken truth that lingered between them. Coriolanus, unable to voice what his heart truly felt, simply nodded, acknowledging the sacrifice Monica was making for him.
With one last glance, he turned away, leaving Monica standing in the dimly lit corridor, a pillar of strength despite the ache in her heart. As Coriolanus ventured into the unknown, the memory of her unwavering support lingered, a beacon of hope in the shadows of uncertainty.
The days that followed were a blur of anguish for Monica. The weight of Coriolanus's departure pressed heavily on her shoulders, but she refused to let it crush her spirit. Determination fueled her actions as she navigated the challenges of keeping her promise to him.
Monica faced the disapproval of her own family, who viewed Coriolanus's fall from grace as a stain on their reputation. Yet, she stood resolute, deflecting their judgment with a grace that belied the turmoil within her. Tigers and Grandma'am, Coriolanus's family, found solace in Monica's unwavering support, and together, they faced the whispers and sidelong glances of Capitol society.
In her quiet moments, Monica grappled with the truth Coriolanus had laid bare — that their love was not what she had believed it to be. The sting of his words lingered, a persistent ache in her heart. Yet, in the face of adversity, Monica discovered a strength within herself that she never knew existed.
As she navigated the intricacies of Capitol politics, Monica found herself drawn to the cause of the Districts, a stark contrast to the privileged life she had known. The injustice of the Hunger Games, the oppressive rule of the Capitol — it all became painfully clear to her. Determined to make a difference, Monica secretly aligned herself with those who sought change.
The Capitol's grip on her life loosened as Monica immersed herself in this clandestine world. She forged alliances with rebels, learning the art of subversion and rebellion. Monica, once the epitome of Capitol elegance, now moved in the shadows, a silent force working against the very system she was born into.
The dusty air of District 12 clung to Coriolanus as he navigated the unfamiliar streets, his steps heavy with the weight of his choices. Lucy Gray walked beside him, her presence offering a semblance of comfort in this strange, new world. Sejanus, their unlikely companion, observed the surroundings with a mixture of curiosity and unease.
In the dimly lit bar they entered, the crackling sound of an old television caught their attention. The screen flickered, revealing the unmistakable visage of Dr. Volumnia Gaul, the architect of Capitol cruelty, as she delivered a broadcast.
"As a reminder of the consequences of treachery," Dr. Gaul's voice echoed through the bar, "we present the traitor who dared defy the Capitol's authority."
The camera shifted, revealing a face both familiar and heart-wrenching. It was Monica, pale and beaten, her eyes hollow with despair. Coriolanus felt a sharp intake of breath as he stared at the small screen, unable to comprehend the depths of betrayal that had transpired.
Lucy Gray's hand found its way to his, gripping it in silent support. Sejanus, too, watched with a mix of horror and sympathy, realizing the impact of the Capitol's ruthlessness on those who dared question it.
Dr. Gaul continued, her voice devoid of remorse, "This traitor provided aid to the districts, undermining the Capitol's authority. Let this be a warning to all who dare to defy us."
Coriolanus, his heart heavy with guilt, could hardly bear to watch as Monica's beaten form became a pawn in the Capitol's ruthless game. The realization hit him with a force that eclipsed the power of any Games he had ever witnessed.
As the broadcast concluded, the bar fell into an uneasy silence. The trio exchanged glances, each grappling with the harsh truth of the Capitol's brutality. Coriolanus, torn between loyalty and self-preservation, felt a surge of conflicting emotions.
Years had passed since the traumatic events in District 12. The Capitol's grip on the districts had tightened, and Coriolanus Snow found himself entangled in the web of political intrigue and power struggles. The memories of Monica and the haunting broadcast had become a distant ache, buried beneath layers of duty and survival.
In the garden of the presidential mansion, where whispers of rebellion echoed in the rustling leaves, Coriolanus found himself in the unexpected company of Katniss Everdeen. The air hung heavy with the weight of unspoken truths as they discussed the Capitol's ruthless tactics, particularly the bombings that targeted innocent children.
As they exchanged somber words, Coriolanus couldn't help but notice a delicate necklace around Katniss's neck — a small, silver chain with a pendant that bore a striking resemblance to the one Monica used to wear. The realization sent a shiver down his spine, and he couldn't suppress the urgency in his voice as he asked, "Where did you get that necklace?"
Katniss, her eyes narrowing with suspicion, touched the pendant thoughtfully. "It was my grandma's. She gave it to me before she passed away."
Coriolanus, trying to conceal the turmoil within, couldn't shake the feeling that the necklace held a connection to Monica. He probed further, "Your grandma's? Did she ever mention where she got it?"
Katniss shook her head, her expression clouded with sadness. "No, she never said. It was just a simple keepsake she wanted me to have. Why do you ask?"
A sense of unease settled over Coriolanus as he grappled with the possibility that Monica might have suffered a fate worse than he could have imagined. He hesitated before speaking, "It just looks remarkably similar to one someone I knew used to wear. A dear friend from a long time ago."
Katniss studied him intently, her gaze penetrating the carefully constructed facade.
Coriolanus Snow, unable to shake the eerie similarity between Katniss's necklace and Monica's, took a deep breath before venturing further into the delicate topic. "Tell me more about your grandmother, Katniss. What was she like?"
Katniss's eyes softened with nostalgia as she spoke of her grandmother, a resilient woman who had endured the harsh realities of District 12. She shared stories of strength, survival, and the enduring spirit that had been passed down through generations.
Listening intently, Coriolanus couldn't help but feel a growing weight of recognition. The details Katniss provided about her grandmother painted a vivid picture, one that seemed to align with the Monica he once knew — the Monica who had disappeared without a trace.
As Katniss spoke, the pieces of the puzzle began to fall into place. Monica, like Coriolanus, had been cast into the unforgiving embrace of District 12 by her parents as a form of punishment. The once wealthy and privileged girl had found herself entwined in the gritty reality of the impoverished district.
Coriolanus, his heart pounding in his chest, felt a mix of emotions swirling within him. Monica had not only survived but had built a life in District 12 — a life that transcended the confines of her origins. The revelation brought a bittersweet sense of closure to the wounds of the past.
The necklace, once a symbol of loss, now carried the weight of a profound connection. Monica's legacy lived on in Katniss, a testament to the resilience of the human spirit even in the face of adversity.
A complex tapestry of emotions played across Coriolanus's face — relief, regret, and a tinge of gratitude for the unexpected turn of events. In that moment, he found a measure of solace in knowing that Monica had forged her own path, a path that led to the birth of a courageous young woman who stood before him.
As the conversation with Katniss unfolded, Coriolanus couldn't escape the realization that the Capitol's attempts to break them had instead given rise to something far more powerful — a legacy of strength and defiance that endured in the face of oppression.
The necklace, now an emblem of intertwined destinies, served as a silent reminder of the choices they had made and the paths they had walked. Coriolanus, standing on the precipice of history, found himself reevaluating his role in the unfolding drama of Panem. The shadows of Monica's disappearance, once haunting, now held the promise of a resilient spirit that refused to be extinguished.
