It's even funnier when most of them are the same people who go screaming around that Solas and Mythal were startcrossed endgame soulmates because she called him love once lol.
I'm not mad with this new game, honestly. I may not like how rushed it seems sometimes, but the romances I've done so far left me very satisfied (Emmrich and Lucanis ofc).
People who are claiming the Lucanis romance is lacklustre because you don’t make out immediately are weak. Every piece of dialogue from this man has been so sweet and romantic and genuine and thoughtful especially since confirming the relationship. and people are saying it’s “like you’re just friends” because there’s no sex scene after you enter the relationship… not sure what they’re doing wrong but Lucanis’ gentleness and protectiveness toward Rook reads 100% romantic to me. the man was just tortured for a year he’s a slow burn let him COOK

i have been lurking around the me fandom on here for a bit , these are the four horsemen of mass effect fans
- horny people that for some reason draw aliens in speedos
- people that are mad because the plot of the games TOTALLY flew over their heads
- people that are stuck up because the plot totally flew over their heads but now they have a bad case of favoritismitis and also hate andromeda because of said disease
- people that definitely had some issues going into the trilogy and projected way more than what is reasonable

can we please normalize paying attention, getting therapy, and shunning speedos?

So I’m still full of ME3 feels and I was listening to some music and it struck me how much Florence and the Machine’s “Over the Love” fit post-synthesis Shepard x Liara romance. So here it is, a short comic featuring Dr Liara T’Soni, @cosmicawesome‘s Shepard and their everlasting love (even gone, he’s always by her side). Also I’m too lazy to clean up them scans, whatever.
So I’m finally playing ME3 and I just have too many feelings. I can’t get myself to finish the last mission… I have this morbid feeling…

So, Lucanis Dellamorte is in like his early 30’s? And his parents were Crows, said they died like Crows (on the job), when he and Illario were little and around the time Zevran returned to Antiva to take on the Talons, he would’ve been maybe 10?
What I’m getting at here, is that Zevran did some stuff so heinous to the Crows that he has a standing contract on his head that nobody’s brave/stupid enough to accept (there’s a note about the contract in game for a Crow with sexual prowess and an impossible contract) and what could’ve been that bad? Perhaps, killing the First Talon’s daughters/sons-in-law?
There’s at least some chance it was him, right…?
i find it really frustrating when people dismiss the criticism of veilguard (from other fans, not grifters) by pointing out how people have always complained about each dragon age release for the same reasons while enjoying them in retrospect because. maybe its not just that people like to complain. maybe its because this game is a symptom of a greater issue across all media genres of late stage capitalism suffocating creativity and gradually reducing all types of media to shallow, shiny, easily-digestible shadows of their former iterations in favor of maximizing profit. and maybe you can see that decline especially clearly in a series like dragon age where you can track its creative manifestation over the last 15 years. and maybe you can see this across the entire gaming industry and film industry and book publishing and television and literally everywhere.
and maybe people have drawn comparisons between veilguard and disney, a comparison that would’ve been unthinkable 10 years ago, not because they are actually similar in content but in their similar loss of the passion, sincerity and humanity behind their creation in favor of meaningless cash grabs that people can FEEL when they experience them. and maybe we also have clear proof of this in the way that the fourth dragon age installment was scrapped, forced into being multiplayer, and ONLY allowed to revert back to single player following the massive monetary success of Jedi: Fallen Order that demonstrated the financial value of single player games to the millionaire executives at EA. but whatever i guess people just love to complain
