Crying that, the minute Dick and Babs get married and have a kid, Bruce is like, "Nope, I'm out, I'm a grandpa now and I'm going to be as laser focused on building my life around this as I was focused on being Batman." 0 to 100mph Granddad Bruce, absolutely no in between, I have no notes whatsoever.

Orphan nodded, her expression unwavering.

Red Hood (grinning, impressed): You're hardcore, but that's what I enjoy about you. I have rubber bullets. They won't kill anyone, just really hurt.

Orphan tapped her chin, contemplating his words, then shrugged casually.

Orphan: That works. Let’s go, baby brother!

With a giggle, Orphan jumped onto Red Hood's back, her arms wrapping around his neck.

Red Hood (chuckling as he adjusted her weight): You are a few months older than me. Why are you on my back like a monkey?

Orphan (giggling): My feet are tired, and you're strong.

Red Hood (amused, shaking his head): You're annoying.

Despite his playful complaint, he took off running, carrying her piggyback, both of them laughing as they dashed into the night.

Bat-family ages in Batman: Wayne Family Adventures

In Batman: Wayne Family adventures, Damian’s age is given as 9 (Ep. 13) and Jason's is given as 19 (Ep. 53).

Bruce’s age is not given, and neither are Steph’s, Tim’s, Cass’s, Alfred’s, Barbara’s, Duke’s, Harper’s, Jim’s, Kate’s, Luke’s, or Selina’s.

According to Ep. 35, Dick became Robin 16 years ago (from current time in WFA), and according to the WFA wiki, Tim figured out Batman and Robin’s IDs at age 9. By adding the typical age Jason dies at (15), Dick’s usual age when Bruce takes him in (8 or 10), and how old Bruce typically is when his parents die (also 8 or 10), along with the typical age ranges of the Bat-family members compared to each other and their apparent ages in the webcomic, we can use some (dubious) math to extrapolate the (at least general) ages of the Bat-family at certain points on the timeline.

Ages of Bat-family members when…

Bruce's parents died: Alfred Pennyworth - late 30's or early 40’s, Jim Gordon - 24 or 26 (figure that looks like Jim seen among background police in Ep. 132 of WFA), Bruce Wayne - 8 or 10 (typically when it happens), Kate Kane - Kid, 13 or under, Selina Kyle - Kid, 13 or under, Barbara Gordon - Infant or 2, Dick Grayson - Not born yet or infant.

(From someone reading Nightwing from rebirth to current)

-he has an advanced degree in forensics?

-he isn’t a fan of modern tech (mostly the idea of cell phones and social media culture) in the rebirth run. He still has a landline.

-he says that he likes the dial tone. That even as a boy in the circus, he could pick up a phone anywhere and hear that tone. It’s always been something steady in his life

- he had a secret lair in the sewers and his password to get in is “Robin”

- He has a rolling batcave. A literal semi truck turned into a bat cave. It has everything you’d need, plus a bunch of Nightwing-y extras (a cabinet of unhealthy cereals, a turntable with vinyl records, and assorted gym rat stuff like a glute-master.) Batgirl made it for him.

currently obbsessed with wfa batfam but have not read the actual dc comics cos i dunno where to find em

i picked up knitting last year and im currently trying to knit a seater with the nightwing rebirth suit pattern (finger stripes and all)dunno if i will follow through with the plan but if i do ill def update
