A little sneak peek for an upcoming drawing….
a little comic featuring Robyn that I made
(His design looks a bit different cause this was when I was still coming up with his design.)
*Robyn sips his coffee, seemingly very tired*
*Shocked by the sudden kick in the coffee that immediately changed his tired demeanor, his ears perked up underneath his hat.*
Robyn: *ears perk up* “Whoa!”
Robyn: “Hey. This is good!”

I was originally going to give him moth wings, but I scrapped it.
You all know that I HAD to make an Aladdin reference. The eyes on his hands are actually those rings with googly eyes on them.

The only reason I decided to actually do a rough outline of this is because it makes for a good reaction image.
Original Character- Robyn
I came up with the idea for this character a while back. It was until very recently that I finally came up with him. His name is Robyn, he is a court jester and his voice claim is Robin Williams (I just had to). He is smooth talking, flamboyant, a bit extroverted, and sarcastic Honduran white bat and Australian ghost bat mix with a bit of fruit bat in there.
He is one of my only oc’s that doesn’t have a (very tragic) backstory. He was experimented on in a biology lab and is poor. The few friends that Robyn had nickname him Batty. He has always wanted to be a jester, and one day he got the job to be the court jester under the royal family. He has a brother named Jamal. I made Robyn a bat cause (you get a veteran’s pass if you already knew this) Robin Williams voiced a bat (specifically a fruit bat) named Batty who was also experimented on in a lab.
For his outfit, I really tried to do research for once and wanted the outfit to be a mix of traditional jester outfits and modern jester outfits. Idk if I nailed it, but ok. Overall, I like him and I think he’s neat.

Punk Bat
One of my several Batsonas! This one is based on a Desert Long-eared bat! I love punk rock and alt-aesthetics so I had fun over accessorizing my babies!

I like sketching in collored pencills because the pages become moee colorful and the sketches stand out more
Plus the poses are more readeble
Thankfully Ibis Paint was able to restore the file when my tablet crashed so I didn't lose my progress.
Oc? Sona? Idk.
I used to hate trying to draw chibis because I could never figure out the proportions, but I think I need to do this more often. This was very experimental and I'm not exactly happy with it, but I'm proud because this is the first drawing that I've actually finished in a year. I have very mixed feelings about the brush I used. It looked very nice for the line art, but I also used it for the colors too and that sure was a process. I wanted to try something new so I just put the colors under the line art layer and erased the extra instead of trying to stay in the lines.
Overall this was very good practice because I need to learn to stop demanding perfection from myself and let my art be more messy than I normally allow it to be.

New OC Design! -- Palette(?) the (Android) Bat
Palette is a tentative name.... Please message in the notes with name suggestions! I need 'em!
The character is an android originally made for unsavory stuff who ended up loving their master in a more wholesome/SFW way. Master just needed a friend and he didn't even know. :)
Collection of the vastaya we have seen
1. Badass firelight wolf-bat looking guy. 10/10
2. We have Jarochi (probably butchered the spelling) who looks to be a Maraka which are described as “carnivorous and ever-smiling” so far he is one of the two vastaya we can name the specific race of
3. Two fauhwoon brothers! Its really neat to me to see vastaya sticking together outside ionia. Idk if they are students at the academy or were just there for progress day. (Exchange students maybe)
4. Funky bat guy! Love him, he’s looking around in wonder so I’m assuming he’s an exchange student of some kind as well
Note: the only vastaya we see in piltover are during progress day, otherwise the majority of vastaya we see are in zaun, (theres a couple im still getting pictures of) I’m really interested in how the vastaya are integrated in a city like piltover because there is a stigma against magical creatures

Some design explorations for one of my OCs Babs. The first one is her original design (plus added gloves) never really gives that much with the outfit I gave her so I wanted to try new ones/experiment with colors/hair. The third and fourth I tried different fur/hair color/face shapes, maybe they’re the same character or maybe they’re related oooooo lore(?) (Violet would be a good name for her) ✨💜🌙🦇

Hiyo! I apologize for any inconvenience/impertinence, but might I request/commission an illustration of a bat?
Underland!Euderma maculatum. Name: Pythia. Not her actual name. Just what she goes by, due to a rumor; some think she is able to hear into the future - or possible futures. Role/task within Regalia: grief counselor for fliers/humans/etc. who have lost their bonds/family members. or family members of their bonds. Or fliers who have been injured to the point of permanent mobility impairment (cannot fly anymore), individuals that might have dubious thoughts regarding their continued biological existence.

I have three ideas in mind for the illustration I wish to request, but I don't know which of the three to pick. One would be somber, her assisting another... The second would be humorous; possibly depicting Boots and Hazard (or other young-ins) climbing all over the polka-dotted flier, hanging off her ears, etc. Or the third... Pythia's fate. In the hallway leading to Regalia's nursery, with (at least) Dulcet and Cartesian behind her... the Euderma momentarily holding the line, giving what little time before the gnawers overwhelm her position.
I don't know which one to choose. So, leaving that up to you.
I am so sorry it took so long to get finished. I was so excited by someone asking me to draw their OC that I wanted to do more than just a quick sketch and really put my full effort into it. So here's Pythia giving some comfort to a grieving Regalian.
I tried my best to keep her faithful to the bat reference, but a certain degree of creative liberties had to be taken to make her clearly emote. The very iconic spots are only really visible on the back so I had to cheat a little bit around the sides. I hope this is close to what you wanted :')
And FWI yes, the text says "Bat or Owl" that does include Underland OCs... hopefully I won't take three months to get it done next time 😅

Alternate color versions that I was iterating. Just getting the right background figured out took so much time and fiddling and I'm still not sure I got it quite right
