Where Every Scroll is a New Adventure
More reasons why Zuko being the Firelord is objectively the funniest thing on earth:
HES SEVENTEEN
He hasn’t been civilised in 4 years, his entire teenage experience consists of living on a boat and sleeping rough. The most stable bed he has was probably in Ba Sing Se he probably will just nap anywhere.
He has customer service experience which means he probably uses his customer service voice on his minsters.
Additionally he probably just wanders into to kitchen to get his own snacks and tea because he forgets what servants do.
He probably has no idea why he can’t just chase after an assassin he used to hunt the avatar for Agnis sake why is the captain of the guard demanding he stay in his room he’ll find the guy first (he’s probably right)
Katara probably has a free pass on Eco terrorism because what’s he going to do challenge her, she’ll beat his ass.
If he saw a minster doing something shady he will either invite lady Beifong to detect their BS or commit B&E and look for evidence himself.
He somehow found a baby dragon and raises it.
He will be far to willing to give Kyoshi island anything they want cause he feels bad and Suki scares him.
He randomly insisted on giving some earth kingdom village 100 ostrich horses.
The Avatar will just show up call him Hotman and demand the go on adventures and the Firelord will just dip because he’s been confined to long and has the Zoomies.
He takes far to much advice from Sokka and will genuinely believe if someone doesn’t get Sokkas plans they must be an idiot because Sokka is 16.
Sokka and Zuko also get into a lot of teenage rebellion phases by accident.
Toph just walks in breaks a wall of his palace and demands a field trip that always involves the Firelord having to explain himself to the cops.
He somehow knows every dangerous teen in the world and they all come for tea uninvited.
He has broken into both the NWT and Ba Sing Se.
He has a really well documented facial scar and official portraits but still disappears to be Lee the tea guy like no one knows.
HES SEVENTEEN.
The Avatar Reunion was AMAZING!!

I saw an art with Zuko by an artist to whom I am following and thought I want to draw him too.
First artwork of 2023! I’m really working on improving my painting skills this year and what better way to do it by making some Sokka fanart. 🐺 🪃
There’s Korra. She’s the (waterbender?) Avatar. She likes to fight things and has overwhelming hubris. She can bend every element except one and I forgot which one it is. Also she’s bisexual.
There’s a lot more kinds of bending
It’s been like 70 years since ATLA, Toph is a cop, Sokka isn’t that important, Katara is a healer, Aang is dead, Zuko is still firelord. Appa is dead. Yue is still the moon. Nobody knows what happened to Suki. Mai married Zuko and had a daughter (Izumi?). Azula is either still in the mental hospital or dead. Ty Lee? Ozai got put in jail for the rest of his life.
The cabbage merchant is important somehow. He’s got a statue
Toph quit being a cop and lives in the foggy swamp now
There are the Air Acolytes (?) idk how this works but I don’t like their outfits and there are somehow more sky bison (?) again idk
Idk who the other characters are lmao
I know there’s Asami bc she ends up with Korra in the end, uh I think there’s also Mako, Kuviera, Tarrloq (Tarrlok? I have no idea who this is), Suyin, a lot more Beifongs, Jinora, Bumi, Iroh the second, Kya, Tenzin, Amok (Amon? I think it starts with an A), Unalaq (?), more people like Sparky Boom Boom Man, a bunch of kids, one of the villains is scary and wears a mask (I want to say this is Amok/Amon/whatever his name is, but I really don’t know), Bolin
Mako is a fire bender, Bolin is an earth bender, Korra is the avatar, Asami is rich, together they are the new team avatar, I think
Korra loses her Avatar powers but Aang gives them back, then she loses the Avatar State and restarts the cycle or something.
I literally have no idea what the main plot is
Korra gets ptsd and a sick new haircut, idk if these are connected. She also no longer has overwhelming hubris.
Mako dates Asami. Then he dates Korra. Then Asami and Korra date each other.
Korra connects the spirit world to the human world at some point
LoK has a lot less chill than ATLA and we can actually see onscreen murder
Republic city is a place and that’s all I know about it. Actually isn’t the cabbage man statue there?
Each villain represents a different kind of government/political ideology/whatever. Can’t remember what they are.
The white lotus is there but they’re lame now. I think it’s the lack of Iroh.
Uh glowing women
*buff glowing women
That’s all
So here I was procrastinating and ended up doing some sketches
Take some azula x ty lee because why not let's be honest
IROH INVENTED BUBBLE TEA EVERYONE
I REPEAT IROH INVENTED BUBBLE TEA
Updated Element chart with explanations and a new watermark.
This is my second bending pamphlet. It explains some of the basics of Firebending. (EDIT:) The Air and Earth bending pamphlets will have to be a little different since they don’t get stronger or weaker.
Each Avatar must learn to master the four elements. It’s traditional to learn the elements in the same order as the avatar cycle, but this isn’t mandatory. There are several examples where an Avatar learned the elements “out of order”. One idea I’d love to see is an Avatar learning in reverse order. (Such as Korra learning: Water, then Air, then Fire, and finally Earth) I like this idea because it might help the Avatar connect better to their past lives. By learning in reverse order, the Avatar could learn about their predecessors along with learning the elements. e.g.
Korra would learn about Aang while learning Airbending.
Roku as she learned Firebending.
And Kyoshi as she learned Earthbending.
(She would still learn waterbending first since it’s her native element, and I see no reason for her to learn about “Kuruk the idiot”.) The past Avatars might even be able to help the current Avatar learn the bending.
Another magic circle for Avatar the Last Airbender. I’m a huge fan of both Avatar: the last Airbender and Cardcaptors. I’ve always really like Li’s compass for finding the Clow Cards, so I redesigned it to find the next avatar.
This might be a Very Unpopular Opinion, but I'm not overly worried about the creators leaving the Netflix Avatar the last Airbender remake.
Let me explain: Despite how much Mike and Bryan are praised, they didn't come up with everything good in ATLA. Like any project, they worked with a team and other team member contributed many things that fans love about the show. Good team member act as "checks and balances" to prevent personal biases from taking over, and to yield a better product.
Mike and Bryan made ATLA but they also made Legend of Korra. They made Korra without their full team and LoK wasn't as good. Because Mike and Bryan didn't have their full team, many of their biases didn't get ironed out of the final product. And because they were more in control, their inadequacies shone through. Thus, Korra's quality suffered because the creators aren't perfect, and they didn't have others to balance them.
Therefore, I'm not overly worried to see Mike and Bryan go because they aren't the source of all goodness. Just like with J. K. Rowling, maybe it's time for someone else to nurture the franchise.
