Hell yeah I'd subscribe! I like what y'all got going here on Tumblr, but I really like your personalities too! I actually found myself being disappointed when I couldn't find a YouTube channel for you guys.

Thank you so much! This means a lot :’) I think we’ve pretty much decided that we’d do a non-hetalia related channel so we can branch out and be a bit more flexible, we just need to get set up and get a video ready

I’d just like to point out, whatever happens with a potential YouTube channel, we won’t stop posting shorter hetalia videos here! So for those of you who aren’t interested in a yt channel but like our stuff here, don’t worry, we aren’t going anywhere! Tumblr will always be our home hehe

Okay, so this is something I've actually been toying with for a while

Editing videos for tumblr is both easier and more difficult than editing longer videos, since adding captions takes less time, but actually cutting down the video from an average of 1.5hrs to 3 minutes is pretty difficult since I have to cut out SO MUCH, so usually so many funny moments have to be cut because the video is just too long, even if I make multiple videos from one recording

So here's dilemma number 1: adding captions is going to take A LOT longer, and I don't have the attention span or time for that

I could solve this dilemma by simply not adding captions, but then that takes away literally all of the hetalia aspect of the videos and y'all probably would't watch (which is understandable if you only came for the Nordics)

Here's dilemma number 2: This blog and topic/theme/whatever is so incredibly specific that I really don't think it would get anywhere on YT, especially since the hetalia fandom seems to be pretty much dead outside of tumblr

I could solve this by leaving out the hetalia bit and just hoping people like me and cereal without it, but then we wouldn't have the headstart from tumblr and would have to work from the ground up and idk if either of us have the motivation for that again lmfaooo

So hopefully you can see that these two dilemmas combine and leave me with one ultimate dilemma:

Would you guys still subscribe and watch if there was no hetalia theme and it was just me and cereal as ourselves, but with more frequent videos? Or should I keep going with the captions and stuff and end up releasing like one video per 3 months?

All of us are actually PC gamers! Most of the games we play are on steam (although that doesn’t mean I can’t kick everyone’s asses at wii games, specifically mario kart 😤)

I'd like to imagine that Denmark is just scarily good at social deduction games like Town of Salem and Among Us even thought you wouldn't expect him to be. Being charismatic and a bit aggressive when you need to be and having ppl wrongly assume you're too stupid to lie is a huge advantage to have.

What or who got you into video games in the first place?

Technically it was me that started it all 😎

I’ve always loved watching gaming youtubers like pewdiepie, markiplier, jacksepticeye, etc, and they were what got me into gaming originally

Then I realised that if I wanted to play multiplayer games, I needed, well, multiple players

First I got Den to play, then Sve (only because I promised to play minecraft with him), then Nor, and then Fin

And then this blog was born :)

Have you ever had to stop playing a game because it was too scary? If so then who?

I mean, I don’t like playing scary games in general, so... The only horror game I’ve played is phasmophobia and that’s because I was forced to play it. Every time I try to stop playing it I’m ultimately convinced to play it again against my will. Everyone else seems to love the thrill of horror too much to entirely stop playing any games, even Denmark, which is surprising since he’s just as much of a baby as me.

I use movavi video editor 15 :) I know there are more recent versions but I've used this one for a long ass time so I have a weird emotional bond to it lmfao Also, this video will be posted today but I'm having ✨technical issues✨ so it won't be out until later 😞

What program do you use to draw?

I use firealpaca because it was ✨free✨

I’ve considered switching to different (better) programs but idk if I can be bothered to learn how to use a whole new program because I am Lazy™️ lmfao

Oh yeah, of course ;)

Finland - easily has the highest alcohol tolerance, takes A LOT (and I mean A LOT) to get him wasted. Do not let him near objects that could be potentially harmful because he will accidentally on purpose kill a man while drunk.

Denmark - close second to Fin, also takes a lot to get him wasted but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t spend most of his life wasted anyway. Imagine his personality but x10 when he’s drunk (he might also spontaneously start crying for no apparent reason)

Sweden - also pretty good tolerance, but not as good as Den or Fin. Doesn’t get wasted often but when he does, it really is a sight to see - he’s super giggly when he’s drunk

Norway - again, pretty good tolerance, similar to Sve, but is definitely more willing to get completely wasted than him. Gets very clingy and affectionate when drunk, Denmark does not complain about this.

Iceland - a baby. Zero tolerance for alcohol. Rarely ever drinks, he’s not particularly interested in getting wasted anyway because he’s seen what the rest of the Nordics are like and he doesn’t want to embarrass himself like that. He did, however, get drunk once, and you can bet your ass Den and Nor still have a million photos and videos from that occasion.

Do the Nordic’s have any plans to do anything for Norway’s birthday?

Don’t tell him, but we’re going to make him a traditional Norwegian cake ;)

Other than that, we can’t really do much, so we’re just going to spend the night in together :)
