BUT INSTEAD I BRING U FAMILY TRAUMA

There has always been conflict in the Suzuki family between all its members. But the most prominent one might be the one between Ageha and her mother Chizuru.

Chizuru is a big traditional woman, believes in gender roles and is homophobic as fuck. Which kinda sucks since her daughter is a very much lesbian that learns to fight to join a criminal empire in another country. She might not be aware of most of this about her own daughter, but she still reminds her constantly of being a "proper lady that takes care of herself so she could attract a good husband". She also forced her to join "girly" activities her entire childhood, that Ageha may (or not) have failed at on purpose (and from a lack of motivation bc of depression but that's another thing--)

Ageha does start standing back against her mother the longer she spends with the Novana, Vongola and Kyoko, finally knowing what she wants to be and how she wants to spend her life (and with who).

This leads to regular fights where Chizuru will try to "bring her back on the right path" and where Ageha will stand her ground, as well as fights between both Chizuru and Mamour, Ageha's father.

She cannot pretend she is not happy when she finally gets out of her parents' home.

Hiii thx for this bc this is such a perfect theme choice for her actually--

When you see the ship of Kyoko and Ageha, Darkness and light/Sun and Moon is deff something that pops out ! Gloomy and dark Ageha and sunny and hopeful Kyoko !

But my headcanon is that actually, each of them considers the other the light to their darkness ☝️

Ageha lowkey has depression at the start, and slowly heals from it the longer she spends with Kyoko breaking down the walls she built around her heart ! Kyoko is literally her light in the way that she shines bright from her optimism and love, and the fact she never gives up on her. Meanwhile she considers herself a very boring and unlovable person with not a lot of talent.

On the other side, Kyoko considers Ageha her light in the sense that before her, her life was very monotone. Just smiling and be pretty, have boys fall at her feet and more boring thing. But then Ageha appeared and she saw more fun things, and could finally break out of the mold of the "perfect pretty girl" she ended up fitting in. But she thinks that she herself is actually a bit of a liar in a sense since her school persona is more or less a mask for her now, and Ageha is getting her to be more truthful to herself !

(yes I know it was just supposed to be Ageha but listen it fits well with the theme so u get ship knowledge--)

so here's my wip for a Monster Hunter AU i was working on

Starlight shines through the window of the hunter's residence in Selianna, reflected through Shimi's eyes. The room was dark and quiet, unlike the rest of the steaming base which was alive with hunters grabbing drinks in the gathering hub and those working to keep the whole thing functional. Not to say she was alone though.

Another hunter lay next to her, swaddled in blankets, and loosely holding her hand. Shimi squeezes Tetsutetsu's hand, receiving one in return, like an affirmation that they're still alive despite the frigidness of the Hoarfrost Reach. She blinks slowly, taking in the warmth of her own blanket as she watches the snow fall and disappear before it can even hit the ground outside.

((Rody has never dyed his hair. He has given himself and his siblings plenty of haircuts over the years, though! Just a little snip snip, not too shabby of a job! Father: Rody's always looked up to his father. Admired how hard he worked and how he took care of him and his siblings. He was a kind soul -haha- and Rody wanted to be just like him. After his dad left, all that admiration kinda went out the window. He resented him. He was angry and upset that their own dad could just up and leave them with no warning. To leave Rody with the duty of providing for what little family they have left.

After the events of Humarise, there's a new mix of emotions stirring within Rody. The admiration for his dad is definitely back, seeing as the guy was forced to work for the organization and never wanted to leave them to begin with- he left to keep their family safe. Rody would have done the same to protect his siblings. But now Rody also feels some kind of guilt... It’s a hard feeling to describe, but he feels bad that he’s hated his dad for such a long time when he was still good all along. And now he’s dead. Here Rody was, shoving his dad to the back of his mind all these years, and now he’s come to find out the truth. It sucks.

Mother: Holds literally no grudges against her. She was lovely and brightened up any room she was in and balanced out Rody’s father perfectly. She was funny. Rody only knew her in his younger years, and absolutely adored her. The family was obviously heart broken after her passing, but kept her memory alive. The grief has lessened over the years, but sometimes it still hits hard. Especially when he thinks about how little time his siblings got to spend with her. Well for Lala, it was basically no time at all. Rody desperately wishes that Lala could have grown up around a mother-like figure. He can only do so much on his own, and he knows that having some “girl-time” would be nice for her. He’s glad that she can get that time with friends now, but it’s still not the same.))
