rui talks to akito about his plans for wonderlands x showtime's shows, and akito just nods and pretends to understand what's happening. he used to seem a bit offput ... perhaps it's warming up to him now ?

overall, i give this ship an 8/10 !

Hello akirui nation, I present to you: traveler Akito and mermaid Rui (again). Rui is a jellyfish mermaid :3

Akito is traveling with VBS, and one day, they've decided to visit one forest. One evening, Akito finds a river while walking alone. But what he didn't expect was to meet a mermaid. At first he thought he was hallucinating, lol.

Meanwhile, Rui also travels around the world since he's interested in humans. Once he saw VBS, he decided to secretly tag along. But he didn't expect Akito to notice him.

And that's pretty much it. They would get to know each other (slowly), and other shenanigans would happen.

Oh, and Akito is not the only one to meet mythical creatures. Toya had the chance to meet a ghost (Honami). An and Kohane are not worried about them at all. 😋✨️

«A Kitsune's Blessing» – Kitsune Akito and Rui, a normal human being, are bonding :D (there's angst though)

«You were there, inside my dreams all along» – akirui reincarnation au, where Rui is having flashbacks to his past life through his dreams

«A gift from above» – guardian angel Akito and human(..?) Rui 🤭 (Rui being silly and Akito is tired of his shit, but he still cares)

«Summer heat» – Akito's process of realizing his feelings for Rui (And omg Akito and Rui are so well written here!! *chef's kiss*)

«You are the only one that could see me in black and white» – the very first akirui ao3 fic (if I remember correctly). It's short, but cute ヽ(￣▽￣)ノ

«A Madman's Guile» – this fic takes in sometime during STRAIGHT BAD DOG (Akito's 1 focus event). Rui sees Akito alone on a rooftop (looking tired), and he cannot not help him.

« Lunch with Kamishiro-senpai» – Akirui having lunch together hehe :3
