TURKEY IS BEING BURNT DOWN! and It’s not a natural disaster, it’s arson. literal terror. a crime. there are 81 fires going on in 23 different cities. this has been going on for 2 days. people are dying, losing their homes.

helicopters, drones, planes and thousands of firemen are currently trying to control fires in 10 different locations in southern Turkey. so far, three people have died, hundreds of animals have perished and several settlements are being evacuated.

A WHOLE country is on fire please that is not something you can underestimate.

-ningguang is a very classy and elegant lady, and so how she acts when she likes someone reflects that.

-ah hu tao, ever the prankster.

-but instead of you falling victim to one of her pranks, she invites you to be part of them and help her. and that is how you know she is whipped. you two will be a menace to all of liyue together, no one will be safe from y'alls shenanigans.

-lisa would be the biggest tease on the planet so prepare for that.

- but also she would often invite you to the library to keep her company while she works. and speaking of the library, she would let you check out as many books as you want and keep them as long as you want, as long as they got returned safely.

jean loves to cuddle. she kind of sees it as a stress reliever. she loves to rest her head on your chest and listen to your heartbeat as you absentmindedly play with her hair, taking it out of the tight ponytail she always keeps it in. it’s therapeutic, almost, and it always helps her fall asleep much quicker.

m — mornings (what are mornings with them like?)

jean usually wakes up very early, so it’s rare that you get a chance to see her before she starts her day. she’ll usually use the extra minutes before getting out of bed to look at your sleeping figure next to her with a small smile on her face. if you do wake up, though, she’ll softly tell you to go back to bed before kissing your forehead.

f — fight (how would they react to getting into an argument with you?)

she would hate it, and after calming herself down, would talk it out with you. she can’t stand the thought of you being mad at her, so she’ll solve things quickly.

her kisses are slow and gentle. this poor girl is so tired when she finally gets to see you, she only has enough energy to give you a kiss. besides your lips, of course, she loves to kiss your cheek or kiss your fingers while holding onto your hand.

she enjoys it, but it took her some time to get used to it. she likes to be held. she likes that for once, she feels taken care of. it’s just enough to help her get her mind off of the things plaguing her mind.

she has no time for it. even if she wants to, she’ll never get mad at you. she has enough things to worry about as it is, so she just hopes you’ll be able to patch things with her easily.

it’s so hard to wake up with her — it’s difficult to get out of bed when it’s so warm and you get to see ganyu looking back at you with sleepy eyes. you don’t get out of bed until she finally realizes that she needs to start her day and quickly jumps out of bed.

fights are practically nonexistent, but if any disagreements happen, she’ll patch it up immediately because knowing that you’re upset with her or vice versa distracts her, leaving her unable to focus on anything which is a huge problem for ganyu, especially when all she wants to do is get home to you.

k — kisses (what are their kisses like? where do they like to kiss?

ganyu’s kisses are gentle, soft, and shy. she moves so slowly that one might think she’s unsure of what she’s doing, but that isn’t it at all. she’s just savoring the moment because it’s so rare to get a lot of time alone with you.

# Paper Hearts | Mona X Reader

➵ warnings: angst, mentions of character death

➵ notes: self-indulgent drabble that has been in my drafts for a while;; I haven't written angst in a while, so I hope it's an enjoyable read!

"Being an astrologist such as I, I can see glimpses of the future." With a gentle sigh, Mona traced circular patterns on your palm, humming a familiar tune whenever you wake from your nightmares.

"Really, now?" You asked with intrigue, moving closer to envelop yourself in her warmth and comfort. The vast topic of her abilities was still confusing, for you weren’t blessed with a vision nor a magical ability. Nevertheless, you’ve shown great interest in her works ever since she has decided to teach the basics.

Running your hands through her hair, you’ve always admired how soft it was. “Maybe you can ask the stars how to manage your financial situation.” You teased, nudging her shoulder as Mona feigned an offended gasp.

“Oh hush, you! Astrology shouldn’t be used for minor things like that. Misusing the guidance of the stars can bring great misfortune to its user, and it shouldn’t be taken lightly.” She scolds, then flicking your forehead with her index finger.

“Ouch, that hurts.” You complained, only gaining a giggle as a response.

“I think you deserved it.” Mona teases before running her hands through your hair. It takes a while before she speaks again. "Sometimes, I can see things that'd make you smile, or the numerous ways that can ruin a day, if I truly wished to, of course."

With a yawn, you stretched your arms before slumping over her figure, smiling. "That sounds like a lot of fun." The atmosphere settled into a comfortable silence. Moments such as these were rare since your lover spent most of her time knee-deep in her studies; always searching treatments for ailments and illnesses yet being unable to get the answers that she wanted. You didn’t blame her, though, you know she was only trying her best.

“..Do you see us staying together for a long time, then?”

Mona freezes, turning to look at you as she contemplates the question. She can’t bring herself to answer it, she doesn’t want to destroy that tiny glimmer of hope in you. It was a question she had asked the stars, and time and time again, it had remained unanswered.

She couldn’t.

Instead, Mona interlocked her hands with yours and held tightly, as if she was afraid that you could vanish.

Instead of answering, Mona looked at you with eyes brimming with anguish. Maybe, just maybe, if she doesn't speak of it, then maybe it wouldn't come true. Maybe the universe will be kind enough to spare you from your cruel fate.

It shouldn’t have hurt as much, but it did. You already know what she saw for your future.

“I love you, so much.” She whispered ever so softly, pressing a kiss to your forehead. A promise.

“..I love you too.”

The silence hung heavily in the air, broken only the faint beeping sounds of a heart monitor.

a/n: thank you <3 Writing so much Hu tao rejection recently actually breaks my heart too ahhh

• Eula met you first in the tavern, she couldn’t take her eyes off of you. To her, you were an anomaly. Someone like her could never truly stray from her aristocratic nature, so you were a breath of fresh air.

• Eula became friends with you and had a very unusual attitude towards you. She would try and sway you towards her romantically with her words and drop flirtatious hints. You would notice them but you just thought it was her personality.

• The night she confessed was at the same tavern she met you at, the alcohol giving her a surplus of confidence. You were Eula’s safety net and your duty was to take her home at the end of the night, so you remained sober.

You were taking Eula home, her body slumped around yours as you supported the drunken woman. You decided enough was enough when her speech was slurred and she was phasing in and out of consciousness. “You know, hic... as a part of the Lawrence clan. My father was never really kind to me.” 

You knew that Eula never got emotional around you unless she was intoxicated. “He would fire all the nannies that I grew attached to because they were not beneficial network sources,” Eula stopped in her tracks, you couldn’t force her to continue walking. “Besides Master Jean and Amber, you were the first I’ve allowed my heart to truly open to.”

She moved her body closer to yours, despite having such an icy cold persona her body emitted the most comforting warmth to you. She stared directly into your eyes, her face stressed with glossy eyes. “I must admit I like you. It’s more than a like that I can describe. I like Amber, but I like you marginally more, can you explain to me what this heartache is whenever I see you?”

You wanted to pretend you didn’t hear what she said. Eula Lawrence? Liking you? You were in disbelief. It’s not that you didn’t like her, did you like her the same way she liked you? You never gave it a second thought, let alone consider yourself on the same plane as her. 

Not to mention she was far too drunk to understand her own words. You prayed she wouldn’t remember this night like many nights before so she wouldn’t seek you out for vengeance. You convinced yourself what she said wasn’t real. “I’m sorry Eula.” That was all you could say before mustering the strength to drag her body to her house. 

You swore you felt Eula’s body upon yours tremble- not from the cold, but from your unresponsiveness. Even though drunk, she couldn’t drop her pride.

• Hu Tao first met you on one of her advertising expeditions around Liyue. Your address was last on her list after having the door slammed in her face a multitude of times. Although you rejected her, unlike the rest, you were kind and gentle with her.

• You would’ve never guessed Hu Tao had a crush on you in a million years. You were frequently visited by her to the point where you would consider her a friend over an acquaintance. She would knock on your door constantly and give you little gadgets from the funeral parlor or pull little pranks on you. 

 • Hu Tao confessed to you 100% on an impulse. She just randomly had an overwhelming surge of emotion for you, she wouldn’t know what to do if she didn’t tell you right then and there. She didn’t even think about how you might respond.

Since Hu Tao kind of had a screw loose she would end up regretting spilling her emotions out to you. She had a rough day admittedly, seeking you for comfort she knocked on your door, once... twice, no answer. With an audible sigh, she turned around to find you approaching your porch with an arm full of groceries. 

“Hu Tao! Pleasant to see you drop by. It’s been a while hasn’t it?” And there you were, her knight in shining armor. You were always there whether you knew it or not to shine such a warm kindness when everyone else wasn’t. “So how’s business at the Funeral Parlor treating you? I’ll purchase a couple of trinkets to keep business running if need be.” 

She ran at a full sprint to greet you excitedly. Her sudden disappointment turning into excitement was too much for her little heart to handle, it felt like she was going to explode. She ran so fast you swore you saw little yellow butterflies appear behind her. She knocked you over with a bear hug along with all your wrapped vegetables and meats.

“IthinkIlikeyou,” She eeped super duper fast. So fast, you didn’t think you heard her correctly so you asked her to repeat herself. “I said- I think I like you.” She was more confident in her confession, but you weren’t.

You stared at her with wide eyes, Hu Tao liking you? This girl who you so fatefully accepted one night and was so ambitiously quirky. You were in denial, you always looked up to her with respect. But you couldn’t translate that respect into love, more like admiration of her courage. “I’m sorry Hu Tao... I don’t think I see you in that way,” you said at a low mumble, loud enough for Hu Tao to hear your response.

She scurried off of you before dusting herself off, now allowing you to see her face. “Pretend I didn’t say that... please. I’ll let you go now, see ya later~,” Although her words were bubbly, you could tell the aching behind them.
