waow could it be i slowly learn to draw and am becoming capable of drawing things i like? unbelievable, will see how it turns out
it sure was venom snake in the operation intrude n313 bc the man could run. i think he's at least as fast as the running man from mg2, who claims to be the fastest mercenary in the world

today's results are bad ngl but i'm glad i did it anyway. got a lot of men pics for the last sketch lately, so today i skipped pics until there was a woman. didn't draw her nice but whatever. both of my common issues - small feet and too long torsos - are present. this is supposed to be a bad art diary to make other people less shy, so here it goes. also i liked the shorter sketches (pics 1 and 2).
the most cringe are the 3-5 minute ones below:
mb i should practice drawing women specifically. although might take a break from drawing - or not, will see how it goes.
would be cool if the real mgsv plot twist would be that it was the ishmael snake in mg, he became a cyborg and rescued what remained of outer heaven, then it was him again in mg2, body parts collected and kept alive by the patriots until he was "repaired" with liquid and solidus parts as seen in mgs4. and venom snake just fucks somewhere off in the end of mgsv, or dies of ligma or smth idk. would explain why mg and mg2 big boss has both arms and no shrapnel

morning line of action. focused on shadows today: looked at the whole photo and thoughts which parts are the darkest, the lightest, a bit dark etc, picked a part (all the darkest areas, for example), drew a light line to mark the edges of that area and filled it in with respective value. i should think of a better way that allows more than 3 values and smoother transitions between shadow and light, but for now i like how it came out compared to yesterday. focused on faces too; it only goes for longer sketches but i resisted the temptation to leave the face blank or draw a -_- like thingy; i disliked what i was seeing while drawing them but now i think it's not horrible. i should do faces practice later to improve.
noticed that for some reason it takes me longer to draw feminine looking models than masculine looking ones. 5 minutes was enough to draw and shade the curvy guy, draw his face in a simplified way and his genitals (something i do rarely), and for the next 5 minute sketch of a lady i didn't even get to her head before time ran out. 10 minute lady's boobies are unshaded bc i ran out of time too. i wonder why is that; the answer might be bc i get lots of pictures of that particular guy for some reason and mb i learnt to draw him faster, but who knows. i wanted to shade the orb on the 25 minute one, but ran out of time exactly as soon as i was finished with the man. look at that orb tho, guess who is failing hard at drawabox ellipse tasks lol
it's the second time i do line of action in the morning instead of evening and both times i am satisfied more than on average; mb will make it a part of my morning routine (which is currently washing face, brushing teeth, mb shower and breakfast lol)
seeing other people in tumblr do same exercises daily makes me want to practice every day too
