now that i could reflect on the game's contents here is a ff16 verse. these points are not entirely spoiler free. some built on information taken from the archive, still is going to be tagged as spoilers so read with caution.

members of the fleuret family have their origins in the 'motes of light', the ancestors of most of sanbreque's nobility into which bahamut's dominants tend to be born. few descendants of these peoples migrated out of sanbreque's ever expanding borders and settled in a far eastern part of the northern territories, first given the name 'maniheim' and later simply called 'the dark land', now only separated from sanbreque and its capitol oriflamme by a large lake. though their blood mixed with other lines during the ages, the fleurets still have a high affinity with light magic and bahamut, which is why a lot of their noble blood has ties with the imperial family as both nations fostered an alliance in the past. blessed with divination and a connection with celestial bodies, some of them would even be sent to the empire to become highly valued astrologers to the ruling head and enjoy privileges no bearer could ever imagine.

due to the blight spreading after the collapse of drake's eye, the people had to flee and intermingle with sanbreque's society once more in the last seven to eight decades. while a large portion of the populous was lost, some others established small communities. the fleuret family however, became a controversial noble complex and political tools, ever exploited in exchange for the empire's 'hospitality', exposing biases and double standards in comparison to the treatment of common born bearers. basically, they are useful 'guests'.

similar to eikons manifesting in dominants, some of which already occurred before the downfall of the ancient civilization ( one example being shiva ), so would the power of celestial objects manifest in generations of the fleuret line and their nocturnal oracles, this includes the sun, the moon, and specific stellar constellations, eventually to be associated with deities. it is through this awakening that the myth of metia as a messenger to the heavens takes its roots, and that the moon, embodied by a lunar oracle, answers the prayers metia would bring her.

while lunafreya practices divination, so was she also born a talented medic to sylva, who under mysterious circumstances passed away, yet, the excessive use of that blessing wears on her body. her brother ravus, having joined the military of sanbreque's knights, hoped to ensure the semi-protected position of lunafreya and their sister stella within the empire, nevertheless, with sylvestre's growing greed, even she could not be spared to become an instrument for his wars, likely separating the siblings.

personally i would like her to reach beyond her 20's for once, thusly be around clive's age, and won't meet her end at least until after the second time-skip, if arguably so.

since luna so deeply enjoys gardening, she may or may not nurture an aether-blue variation of the otherwise white or lilac wyvern-tail, right next to a small chapel dedicated to greagor, where she treats the ailments of the poor whenever she is able.

affiliation wise, she is mostly neutral, but would find herself supportive of dion's revolt. for the emperor and the empress she feels nothing but cold indifference. to clive and his party she will potentially be The Cryptic NPC.

𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄’𝐒 𝐓𝐀𝐔𝐍𝐓 𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐀 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐅𝐔𝐋 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐓’𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐁 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓’𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐋𝐘 𝐓𝐈𝐏 ;    and neither seethed its owner with scornfulness, although this could have been a matter of personal grudge. through wide-open windows leaked nocturnal breeze, beddings all undone and disorderly, pearls and gems scattered across invaded tilings ;  those were witnesses to a criminal scene which succeeded not according to its plunderish schemes.  this lady’s heritage was both sheltered and targeted, her belongings rumoured and sought after, and within merely a question of ' when ' would she fall victim to games to this extend --- this much she could fathom and for this much she prepared. 

one night, to her dismay, she failed to read the warning signs : the silence of owls, the flutter of crows, the peering balcony-glares shadowing behind her tender shoulder before she rested ‘pon her familiar mattress, all that ignored only for them to wake her with a rustling of treasures.  the following miniscule wrestle amounted to a moment ‘twixt oddly opposing personas of parallel nobility, and the grin of yours ; a mischief, socially offensive like any other theatric trickster in tales, pinned against ornamental walls.   “ and you concluded to find those by trespassing my private chamber ?  well, at the very least, you are an intriguing character, albeit a thieving one. ”    cold jest, dry lips, bruised dignity. lungs may be pressed by inconvenience, but her hands, firmly clenched 'round weapon's pole, shan’t afford to waver nor shiver.

07 :    versus xiii ; as a tenebraen-born oracle of solheim, lunafreya serves the fal’cie of this world since she was an adolescent girl ;  and by extention, so, too, does she serve the sleeping god of light who aims to find the unseen realm.  with chaos seeping into the realm of the living, the moon grows larger, redder, and ominous in due time, metamorphosing into a gate between dimensions, which the oracle is raised to operate.

08 :    ffx ; an unsent summoner, walking the world, haunting not as a fiend but as a ghost of the past, ever-seeking for the dreaming zanarkand she was never meant to be part of.

09 :    assassin’s creed ; the isu selene, also known by the romans as luna, was part of juno’s sage project and has ever since been spread into the tripple helix dna of the fleuret bloodline.  during the industrial revolution, lunafreya guards the ring of solomon, an eden artifact, which both templar and assassin order hunt for in equal measure and only few were granted to treasure its secrets.  

10 :    draken-nier ;    luna is a divergent type of legion specifically picked by selene, a kin to the watchers and the queen beast, in pursuit for a way to break the imposed ties between humanity and god, even if it takes thousands of years to find the correct singularity.

𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐂 𝐆𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 :    objectively real, a mathematical existence encoded into automaton-parts.  pulsating electricity wired within each component, tangible enough to comprehend a silhouette outlining a nothing-lady, not organic enough for authenticity of skin or hair or nails.  she was real, and she was not.  prepared for a brusque welcome on the first day for this very reason, with a friendly smile she artificially countered mannerisms of sore origins.  raw tune, as she noted, betrayed a burdened mind.    “ i am a system assistant for data management  –  RK 400  –  but i do not only help you keep track of your files ;  my calculation features are optimized for this field of work specifically to form predictions of criminal activity and civil unrest according to said collected data.  i also offer medical care, if necessary.  hereby, i regret to inform you, lieutenant, it is not included in my programming to serve beverages, but i shall request one cup of coffee for you.  perchance, that will lift your spirits for the rest of the day. ”
