Mateo was a little surprised that Izzie could dream walk like him buuuut he should've seen that coming what was more surprising was that Zoey the new girl Nova Izzie's BFF and Logan could as well

Apparently Mr Oz could as well but he wasn't with them because he ran some fancy place for dream agents or whatever Mateo was a little bummed that Cooper couldn't be here

But Cooper was still a big help and proved it time and time again Mateo is just glad he didn't have to hide this from him anymore

Izzie had been bummed out that she couldn't get an hour glass like Nova and Logan had but she could beast craft which more than made up for it

They all somehow got a teacher? At least for the dream world Royce was nice enough if not a little strict at times but it was fine he wasn't that bad

What really bugs Mateo is having to watch Izzie and Nova pine after each other all the time in the dream world like hello Izzie's older brother is right here knock it off!

Well at least Logan agreed with him and wow can't believe he ever got Logan to agree with him on something Zoey said it was normal and to let it go

But Mateo doesn't want to see his sister fail at flirting with Nova it was horrible watching it play out

Yes! Kai even as a villain would save a kid even if it's Lloyd who he "disliked" at first and canon and it wasn't even that bad it was the same as the others just ig louder given how the fandom treats it

But Kai leaving Lloyd or any kid behind when he can save them is not what he'd do Kai is labeled as "selfish" but he really isn't

Not in the way the fandom and the characters in Ninjago say he is at least everyone is a little selfish no one is ever truly selfless at all times

I can see Kai leaving Lloyd in the arms of one of the others like throwing him up ta the others and telling them ta leave him yeah I can see that but never leaving Lloyd behind

Just a little rant here:

I'm really tired of people saying Kai would pick the fangblade over Lloyd even for aus because it just never makes sense ta me like Kai would NEVER have actually picked that blade over a kid who's trapped in lava without help

It doesn't matter if any of the others could have saved Lloyd (and they couldn't) Kai wouldn't have just grabbed the blade and leave Lloyd there in the lava no matter how much he "disliked" the kid

Hell Kai even if he had the time ta get the blade and Lloyd he'd still save Lloyd first and THEN the blade never the other way around because Lloyd is a CHILD

The ninjas are better than me bc if I was in Ninjago and my loved ones kept getting put in danger I'd pick up a god damn gun and start shooting

Imma be honest I hated Grif/Simmons since day one I couldn't and still cannot see them being healthy I also don't like Simmons at all

Wu (bashing):

Wu simply doesn't care his more focused on the team staying together and wondering how Kai was able ta become one with the sea his also the one who gave Nya the okay ta keep Kai in that jar

Afterwards he keeps bugging Kai on how he did it pushing Kai more than the others trying ta figure it out

Pixal:

She does care but she wasn't close with Kai she's focused more on helping Zane through it so Pixal isn't able ta acknowledge her own sadness she almost punched Nya seeing her having Kai in a jar that was her first ever reaction for herself during this time frame

Afterwards when Kai is back she hovers it isn't very noticeable but she is Pixal will always keep tabs on Kai as if waiting for him ta disappear again

Jay:

Like Pixal his foucsed on helping Nya but he can't hide his emotions his hurt by this all he feels horrible that Kai did it and seeing how Nya is handling it makes it worse

Afterwards Jay always keeps jars away from Kai's view he isn't sure if it'll upset Kai seeing any after what Nya did but his scared it will

Cole:

Now Cole was tricky but he definitely isn't handling it well his angry at Benthomaar for telling Nya bout it angry at Kai for doing this but mostly angry at himself for not being there ta stop Kai

Afterwards Cole def hovers over Kai making sure his safe he has a habit of dragging Kai out ta spar just so he knows the other is really here he has a lot of drawings of Kai

Zane:

Zane does shut off his emotions he can't handle Kai being gone it doesn't stop him from being angry the first time Nya shows Kai in that jar he had ta be turned off bc he was actually going ta hurt Nya

Afterwards Zane has a habit of checking on Kai as he sleeps in fact Zane will watch Kai sleep the other doesn't mind as long as his eyes aren't glowing

Ray & Maya:

Oh boy they are so messed up they just barely got back ta their kids and building their relationship up and then bam their son is the sea the two cling ta Nya a little ta much

Afterwards they both dote on Kai a lot who enjoys it having his parents love again makes being "human" again easier ta deal with

Lloyd:

Lloyd is...he ended up sleeping in Kai's bed a lot scared he'll forget what Kai smelt like his scared that Kai won't ever come back he also actually did hurt Nya when he saw what she's done

Afterwards let's just say Lloyd didn't let Nya be alone with Kai for awhile he clings ta Kai afraid ta let go

Nya:

.....she put Kai in a fucking jar so that's her reaction ta it all

Afterwards Nya isn't doing okay still but she's so overjoyed Kai is back though she understands why the others are upset with her back then

Swapped Genders

Sweater dress

I went with lesbian plasma bc I know ya like fem Jay and then went why not do both as fem? And so this happened-

Jay giggled holding a box close to her chest as she walked to the living room she worked hard on this gift for her girlfriend

It took her two months to do it given all the attacks on ninjago keeping it a secret from Kai and the others so they didn't accidentally tell her

Matching the yarns getting it perfectly snug so it'd fit nicely on Kai's body but not too tight that it's uncomfortable for the other

So yes it was a lot of work! But she's finished and can give it to Kai now which is what she's doing

Jay got to the living room seeing the others sitting with together laughing she went right to Kai beaming as she handed the box to the brunette

"What's this blue?" Kai raised an eyebrow at Jay who hummed rocking on her feet

"A gift!~" Jay wasn't spoiling it nope! Not saying anything else until Kai opens the box

Kai laughed as she opened the box before gasping at the sweater dress? She didn't know those were a thing but holding it up out the box Kai guesses they are in fact a thing

It was a dark blue with lighter blues mixed in making it look like lightning against a stormy night Kai smiled getting up and kissing Jay

"GROSS!" Nya gagged she doesn't need to see her sister kissing Jay! Who happens to be her best friend keep the pda away from her!

"Jay did you make that?" Cole wanted to make sure because it looked professionally made

"Yeah she did!~ ain't my darling the best?~" Kai grinned kissing Jay's cheek before running off to try on the sweater

"When did you learn how to knit?" Zane tilted their head Jay laughed playing with her nails

"Growing up I would knit with my pops" Jay hopes Kai likes the sweater dress

"Jay can I have one?" Lloyd looked so excited asking her that and Jay can't so no to the kid!

"Of course! I'll make you the best sweater dress you'll ever have!" Jay meant it she's going to do it for Lloyd

Jay rushed off to go work on a idea for what to make for Lloyd going into her own world after a bit someone placed a hand on her shoulder

Jay jolted looking over to see a smiling Kai wearing the sweater dress Jay had made for her it fit like a glove

"I like this Jay I'm wearing it on our next date" Kai looked and sounded like she was serious about it

Jay whined clinging to Kai no no she's glad Kai likes it but no! Jay doesn't want anyone seeing how pretty Kai was! She barely wooed Kai the first time how could she win Kai over AGAIN!?

"Jay you know I have eyes only for you right? You're my beautiful and smart girlfriend and I meant for our bedroom dates~" Kai laughed at how red Jay got

"Yes!" Okay Jay takes it back she's so excited for Kai to wear this on their next date!
